Abyss Summoner of The Apocalypse

Chapter 1278: The goddess of poison and disease

Views:

Druids are a group loyal to nature. They are close to nature and have mastered many nature spells. Due to their pure hearts, they even mastered the art of shapeshifting and can transform into various forms such as giant bears, giant tigers and even giant dragons!

They often associate with elves. Of course, they don't like dark elves, but pure elves, those who represent beautiful and gentle creatures.

The beliefs of druids are almost comparable to those of ascetics, so much so that there is not even a single druid in the vast Underdark. However, the abyss is full of too many possibilities, and it has the ability to corrupt everything. Although it is unknown what the druid summoned by Chen Feng has experienced, what cannot be changed is that it is no longer loyal to nature, but has become a scythe of death walking in the world.

The other party had a dull look in his eyes, and he had not taken a single step after being summoned. Not only the external objects, but even himself, seemed to be affected by the poison. However, Chen Feng never underestimated the other party from beginning to end, because judging from the other party's aura, this fallen druid possessed the same power as himself.

Epic powerhouse!

This is not a very surprising thing. After paying the price of an epic corpse and two half-epic corpses, if some powerful summoned beasts cannot be summoned, this will make Chen Feng feel a little doubtful.

Chen Feng observed the other party carefully, and soon he found some clues.

There was a holy emblem on the other person's chest, which was a purple triangle with three amber teardrops on it.

Chen Feng began to search in the vast knowledge of the abyss. After a while, he found the owner of the holy emblem. It was at this moment that he finally knew why this druid had become like this!

The deity that the fallen druids serve is the goddess of poison and disease... Talona!

Talona (Goddess of poison and disease)

Weak divine power

Aliases: Lady of Poison, Lady of Disease, Mother of All Plagues. Symbol: Three amber tears on a purple triangle.

Living Realm: Destruction and Despair Wasteland

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Portfolio: Disease, Poison

Worshipers: Assassins, druids, healers, thieves, those suffering from chronic diseases

Cleric Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, Neutral Evil, Chaotic Evil

Domain: Chaos, Destruction, Evil, Torment

Favored Weapon: Rough Hands (Unarmed Attack)

Talona is often described as a gaunt, emaciated old woman with a face covered in religious tattoos. Wherever she goes, misery and suffering follow. Her heart is like a willful, greedy child, trapped in a body (once beautiful but now) ravaged by disease and age. She often acts like a child in the hope of attracting attention - but this only leaves her alone, like a resentful woman abandoned by others.

Talona's church has a very strict and clear hierarchy (but it is also divided into several different sects). In addition to selling various poisons, antidotes, and medicines, Talona's priests travel around Faerûn as quietly as possible, constantly searching for new diseases and infections, and working to spread rumors to enhance the prestige of the Toxic Lady.

The believers work hard day after day to gain respect - hoping that mortals will respect the Lady of Disease's power to destroy everything and respect her agents on the continent of Faerun.

Throughout their lives, Talona's priests study magic and try to build immunity to a wide variety of diseases and poisons - so they can care for the sick, bury the dead, or be hired to test the safety of food for skeptical rulers, wealthy merchants, and nobles.

If a nation or city dares to expel or punish Talona's followers - for any reason - Talona's priests will quickly unleash a severe plague on the local area as "Talona's price" for such an insult.

Rumor has it that some despicable Talona followers will select a wealthy person as a target and infect him with a mortal disease so that the church can "receive" the wealth after the target's death - under the threat of poison and disease, the true and legal heirs can do nothing.

Talona's priests and druids pray for spells at dusk - but they must pray to the goddess three times a day (including the dusk prayer). Every twelve days, the church holds an event (open to outsiders who are not followers of the goddess) in which outsiders are encouraged to pray to the Lady of Disease and make donations to her church in exchange for themselves or their loved ones being freed from (or protected from) death, plague, disease, and the like.

Talona is not alone, she is even a member of a team in the land of the abyss.

She is a member of the dark gods, and she has some like-minded evil companions around her. Of course, anyone who can be called a partner by the gods must be a true god!

The members of the Dark Gods are all a group of evil gods. They resent and hate the good gods. They create large-scale disasters every once in a while to continue the fear of the Dark Gods among ordinary creatures.

Talona's teachings.

Pain and pleasure, like life and death, are relative existences, but the power of death is far greater than its relative power, and it should be treated with greater respect and reverence. Death is the true great balancing force, and it is the fate that everyone must face sooner or later.

When you can only use the dagger to make others "understand" your thoughts, don't have the slightest doubt. The mother of all plagues exists in everyone's body, and it is her great power to weaken and corrode from within. Whether you are willing to believe in or serve her, her breath will always be with you.

Talona wants all beings to respect her and devote their wealth to her in a fervent and devout way. If they do so, Talona will not (yet) take their lives.

Beyond this, believers must act in Talona's name, either discreetly or conspicuously so that mortals know that all this is based on the will of the Lady of Disease.

No wonder the druid in front of me looked like this.

The druids who believe in the goddess of disease are all a bunch of lunatics. If they loved life as much as they did before their fall, they hated it as much after their fall.

The moment they devoted their faith to the Lady of Disease, they degenerated into demons, a kind of chaotic life form that could rival the devil.

They are dedicated to destruction and disease. One epic druid is enough to completely destroy an ordinary nation of creatures because they have control over terrible plagues and infectious diseases.

A powerful summoned beast.

This is the evaluation Chen Feng gave to the other party.
