Abyss Summoner of The Apocalypse

Chapter 1404: Ancient evil

Views:

The surroundings fell into dead silence.

It was as if everything was withering away, and there was no sound at all. For the Demon God, no, to be exact, for Mask, Naraku had some unspeakable feeling in his heart.

If an ordinary person suddenly told you one day that the world was going to be destroyed and a huge meteor was hitting the earth, anyone who heard these words would laugh uncontrollably and would simply think that the other person was exaggerating and had no basis at all.

But what if this person was replaced by a doctor who specialized in planetary exploration

Will you treat it in a different way

Naraku showed surprising importance to Mask's story. He stared at him and said, "Before I tell you about this disaster, I just want to know how you died?"

The gods are extremely powerful, this is a fact that no one doubts, and among the gods, Mask is not the strongest, but he is definitely not the weakest either.

But such an extremely powerful god actually appeared in front of Naraku in the form of a corpse. This situation made people quite suspicious.

"How did I die?" Mask shook his head. "I have lost most of my memory, and the lost half includes how I died."

"Then do you still remember that a disaster is going to happen?" Naraku was full of doubts.

Mask said: "Although I have forgotten everything, I cast a spell on myself before I died. I used the spell to seal a part of my soul. The destruction of the world seems to be innate. I did not lie to you. I want us to join forces to resist this natural disaster together."

"Is that so?" Naraku pinched his chin, as if thinking about something.

"What are you still hesitating about, even if I am not worthy of being your ally?" Mask's voice was a little urgent.

Naraku shook his head: "You can't say that. If it was you before, I would certainly agree without hesitation, but you know your situation now. It's like this. Even if you become an ally, you will only be dragging me down."

Mask's eyes flashed a dead red light, and Sen Han said: "Naraku, what do you want to say?"

Naraku smiled: "If you change your mind, I might agree to it. Rather than saying it's an alliance, it's better to say you want to surrender to me and seek my protection. Do you think this is okay?"

“Damn it!”

Musk was furious and instantly shouted, "Are you kidding me? You're telling me this kind of nonsense. Do you want to see how powerful I am?"

Naraku waved his hand and said, "Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to anger you. I just want you to know that I would prefer you to serve me as a Death Knight rather than an ally."

After that, before Mask could explode, Naraku suddenly raised his hands and shouted, "Show up, Worm Walker!"

Among the many names known to the world, Kyuss is the Wormwalker's most famous, most despised, and most terrifying true name.

Filled with the spiritual imprint of a demigod named Kyuss, the Wormwalker is a writhing mass of maggots and worms. Slain and sealed away a long time ago, the Wormwalker longs to return, to seize the world in its twisting, wriggling grasp, and to lead all things to their doom.

The Wormwalker is hideous and hideous. It is composed entirely of 30-foot-tall, writhing maggots and worms, assembled from pure evil hatred into a towering giant. Each worm was formed from a fragment of Kyuss' personality, and when the Wormwalker came together, Kyuss was reborn.

Even the Wormwalker himself still retains a trace of his own disgust for his appearance, hiding his horrible appearance under a dark cloak made of the flayed skins of Kyuss' victims before his transformation. Beneath the hood, two glowing blood-red eyes pierce the front.

Musk seemed to have anticipated Naraku's reaction. Seeing that the other party was well prepared, he stopped arguing in vain!

This is the God's residence!

Compared to the rage of mortals when they are betrayed, terrifying beings like gods can adjust their moods more quickly.

Mask stared at the wormwalker named Kyvos in front of him and said word by word: "Ancient evil!"

According to known knowledge, ancient evil creatures are comparable to the evil gods. Their existence itself is a mistake. The ancient evil creature named Kyvos in front of him also has his own evil legend.

When the ancient evil of the Wormwalkers appears, there are many inconsistencies and contradictions. It is acknowledged that Kyuss's appearance is certain when a great number of vile males give birth to offspring that pollute the world. Not only are many of the heinous atrocities recorded under this name, but also because this name spells doom for all that serve it. Its minions are numerous, ranging from grotesque undead to hideous aberrations. Mortals curse these abominable servants and continue to hate the Wormwalkers for bringing them into the world.

Scholars of Forgotten Tales believe that Kyuss walked the land in an ancient age, long before the oldest kingdoms of our time. It was one of the most evil times in history, when mankind steeped in the profane arts and served dark gods. Kyuss was a gifted mortal necromancer or high priest of an evil deity.

The most popular theory states that Kyuss was so evil that his own fallen nation exiled him for his forbidden arts and ominous prophecies of approaching doom. Rather than languishing as an exile, he became a prophet, even attracting a group of followers who clamored to hear his ominous words. They saw him as a servant of the gods, if not a god in his own right, and believed they were in his favor and would be protected by him during the terrible times he predicted were to come.

Kyuss discovered the ruins of a lost civilization. Strange inscriptions were carved into the remaining structures, describing human sacrifices under the rule of six-armed tyrants. He claimed the site for himself and ordered his followers to rebuild the city from the ruins.

Though he ruled as a god and a king, nagging images and his own ambition urged him to seek greater power, a way to transcend mortal flesh and blood and become a true god. His thoughts became clear when his followers discovered an ancient metal disk that contained terrible secrets that confirmed his every prophecy.

In these inscriptions, he found the spell that would lift him above the realm of mortals, at the terrible cost of the lives of his followers. Yet for the sake of this prophecy, no price was too high. So one bloody night he commanded his priests to round up his followers and slaughter them all, and then Kyuss himself slew the massacrers. With the blood of thousands stained on his hands, he turned to the great obelisk his servants had built of earth, and chanted the spell that began his transformation. When he was done, he melted his flesh with the foul stone, and in an instant he gained and lost his divinity. He became something neither mortal nor god, something far worse than imagined.

More than once in Kyuss's long life, he had come across knowledge of this age in which he presided, lord and ruler of all things. He coveted this end, for he knew that achieving it would greatly increase his power and would allow him to gain the divinity he had always sought.

For Kevos, he has been trying to become a god throughout his entire life, but he often falls into the abyss when he grasps the key point. There is no doubt that if the opponent is not so powerful, he would have become a real corpse by now.

I just didn’t expect that such a proud being would be loyal to Naraku!

What a surprising news!

Mask stared at Naraku: "Do you really have to do this? Are you really not going to listen to my plan? Although I am dead now, I can still exert 20% of my original power, and I am absorbing energy!"

"The energy of the living!"

Musk murmured to himself: "As long as I consume more energy, I will be able to reach the previous level one day. As long as you give me some time."

Naraku grinned and waved the sickle in his hand: "Why should I give you time? Have you forgotten what kind of god I am? You need a lot of death energy, and that happens to be what I need, right?"

Mask was still making his final struggle: "Do you really not believe what I said before? The abyss will be destroyed, and we will all be destroyed in the end."

Naraku nodded: "I have never doubted what you said, but I have also made my position clear before. With your strength, even if there is a natural disaster, you will not be able to stop it. Rather than dying in despair again, it is better to give your body to me and let me use this body to avenge you. I promise you that if I have the chance, I will find the culprit who killed you and kill him with my own hands!"

Why Him

Because only gods can kill gods!

Mask's eyes seemed to have lost their luster. He stared at Naraku and said quietly, "Is that so? It seems that we really don't need to discuss the problem. So..."

Mescrat stretched out his voice, which suddenly became long and deep, like rain, falling directly into every corner of the Colosseum: "Then, let the ancient evil fight against the ancient evil!"

"Leviathan!"

"My most trusted partner, please show up. I will give you my remaining soul as a reward. I beg you to kill all the enemies in front of you!"

A cold voice sounded from Mask's mouth, and then an incalculable huge python appeared in the sky above everyone.

Born from the original pure chaos during the creation period, Leviathan, the monster that coiled around the world, slept deep beneath the waves. Countless monsters and disasters were born from its dreams and disturbances and descended upon the world. Almost no creatures on the ground knew of the existence of Leviathan, the great enemy of the world. However, in the depths of the ocean, a creature with unspeakable evil is seeking to use this destructive monster to achieve its own evil goals.

Leviathan has only one goal, if it must have one, to follow its chaotic nature. Leviathan represents the most violent and destructive form of pure chaos that gives it form. As it approaches awakening, Leviathan's unconscious disturbances become frequent and violent. Destructive natural disasters and deadly creations are born. When it awakens, the oceans roll in rage, the continents slide into the abyss, and the whole world collapses. Once Leviathan fully awakens, the world will be completely destroyed unless the gods intervene together.

Leviathan has no consciousness at all, and the destruction it induced is only a step in its process of full awakening. The ancient dragons mentioned that in the long river of history, Leviathan had come close to awakening several times, and without exception, it caused great disasters and profoundly changed the continents and oceans. The reason why the world is still safe is only because the beast finally returned to its slumber.

Extremely evil individuals may attempt to awaken the dormant Leviathan, risking the destruction of the entire world, and use it to achieve their own diabolical goals: the destruction of a hostile kingdom, the collapse of an entire continent for resources, or a reshaping of the world.

Leviathan is sleeping in the depths of the ocean. It is so huge that it surrounds the entire world. Even in deep sleep, its chaotic energy still seeps into our world, creating monsters on the ground and aliens in the sea. Its occasional disturbances bring hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions to this world. In time, perhaps Leviathan will return to nothingness due to the loss of its own chaotic energy, but that will take a long time that far exceeds the age of the worlds.

The ancient dragon legends foretold the awakening of the Leviathan. Once this massive beast awakens, even if it gains a little sentience, the foundations of the world will be shaken and reshaped. If the Leviathan fully awakens, it will destroy the entire world, including itself. This is its nature, as one of the oldest children of Chaos.

Of course, this huge snake in front of us, which is even more than dozens of meters long, is far from the strength of a real Leviathan!

There is only one giant snake in the world that deserves to be called Leviathan. It is the king of monsters that all marine creatures and alien species fear from the bottom of their hearts.

As for the one in front of us, it is only at the level of descendants.

All ancient evil creatures are of the same kind. The purpose of their birth is destruction, whether it is the existence summoned by Naraku or Mask.

Naraku no longer seemed to have confidence in Mask's approach, but was a little gloomy: "As expected, there is an old saying in the human world that a starving camel is bigger than a horse. Yes, this is a proverb in the human world."

"Have you ever been to the human world? It's a really strange country. Most people live very comfortably there, without having to worry about being killed by their companions or allies. I learned a lot there."

Mask didn't take Naraku's memories at this time seriously at all: "My lost memories may contain this knowledge, but now, I can only listen to it as a story."

"Is that so?" Naraku nodded: "That's a bit regrettable."

"Go, Leviathan!"

"Fight, Kyuss!"

They looked like friends greeting each other, but the next second, they drove their vassals to participate in the terrible battle in front of them!
