"And to be honest, my master is fine, he's just unconscious. So if that person finds out after a few days that things aren't going as he expected, he'll definitely strike again."
"What Mr. Yang said is not impossible, but how can we guard against him after he makes his move? That person's disguise skills are already superb. Not to mention with the naked eye, even with magic, it may not be visible. If he takes the opportunity to disguise himself and sneak into the various sects to assassinate important people, what should we do? If something happens suddenly, I'm afraid it will be too late to guard against it. What should we do then?"
“That, I think there are things we can use.”
After thinking about it, Yang Kun said what he had come up with: "Originally, I was thinking that the disciples of each sect would use unique codes to defend themselves, but then I thought that a single code doesn't seem to be very safe. It would be great if there was a way to lock onto the main body and make it identifiable."
Monk Xuyun was silent for a while, then said, "How about this, I will notify the sect leaders of each sect and ask them to find a way to put some harmless marks on their disciples that only they can recognize. I think the sect leaders and elders of each sect must have something that can be used to mark people. In this way, we can use the marks made by each sect to determine whether it is someone else's disguise."
"This method is also possible. The person who can change his appearance would not change his appearance to a different one. So this method is feasible."
Yang Kun did not ask why they did not make a unified mark, because he knew that the various sects were wary of each other, so how could they trust that others would not make marks that would harm their sects? And who could trust that others had no bad intentions without any grudges? Therefore, the method proposed by Master Xuyun was already a method that could be reluctantly accepted by everyone.
When Monk Xuyun saw that Yang Kun also thought it was a good idea, he stood up and prepared to notify the leaders and elders of each sect, asking them to find their own sect's unique mark and plant it on their disciples. This way, there would be no problem.
Yang Kun waited until Master Xuyun finished his work before continuing to chat with him.
Monk Xuyun was very happy to see Yang Kun. He quickly invited Yang Kun into the house and told him about his plan to teach him the Diamond Sutra.
"Master Xuyun, are you really going to teach me the Diamond Sutra?"
Yang Kun really didn't expect that Monk Xuyun actually thought this way. Everyone in this world knows that Buddhist techniques are not taught to outsiders, and the Diamond Sutra and the Great Compassion Mantra are both the most powerful techniques in Buddhism. If used together, they are enough to subdue a demon.
Monk Xuyun nodded, looked at Yang Kun and explained: "You are now considered as my master's disciple, so you are also considered a Buddhist disciple. It is not impossible to teach you the Diamond Sutra and the Great Compassion Mantra, but now I can only teach you the Diamond Sutra, because the Great Compassion Mantra has been lost, so I don't know how to practice it. So I would like to ask you to agree to a request of mine. If you are lucky enough to find the practice of the Great Compassion Mantra in the future, I hope you can let me copy a copy by hand, so that the Great Compassion Mantra can return to Buddhism."
That’s right, one of the reasons why Monk Xuyun agreed to accept Yang Kun as his junior fellow disciple and teach him Buddhist skills was because of this idea.
