Chapter 169: The deputy director's advice spend more time with your girlfriend (Part 2)

The SWAT chief shook his head: "Not for now, the deputy chief wants to see you."

"Huh?" Luke was surprised.

This deputy director is also called the deputy chief.

How big is it exactly? Above this position, there are only two levels: Assistant Chief Inspector and Chief Inspector.

But in reality, the top two levels are only responsible for administrative affairs and do not interfere in specific cases.

In specific cases, the deputy director is the highest-ranking commander, and he does not have the chance to intervene in ordinary major cases.

Luke took old man Aoki and Ximena with him, went around to the other side, and drove out in his Ford.

Luke was stopped by special police at the door of the underground garage. He showed his police ID and his car and body were searched. He was not released until several minutes later.

He doesn't want to take the bus to report tomorrow, so this bus must be driven out.

Driving his white Ford and stopping at the location where the deputy chief was said to be, Luke got out of the car and stopped a black sheriff nearby and said, "Excuse me, where is Deputy Chief Robinson?"

The black man was stunned, then looked at him strangely for a moment: "Luke Coulson?"

Luke: “It’s me.”

Black Sheriff: "My name is Ball, come with me."

After walking a few steps and going around a command vehicle, I saw a middle-aged white man in his forties or fifties there.

Sheriff Bauer said, "Deputy Chief, Luke is here."

The middle-aged white man saw him and happily stretched out his hands: "Hello, Detective Luke Coulson, I am Deputy Chief Duane Robinson. I am proud of what you have done. You are an outstanding member of our Los Angeles Police Department. I will..."

Luke interrupted awkwardly, "Deputy Director Robinson, let me introduce you to Mr. Aoki, the president of Zhongfu Company."

Robinson was stunned for a moment, but immediately stretched out his hand: "Hello, Mr. Aoki." He already knew that it was the Zhongfu Company that was attacked by the Kongfu elements tonight.

So he quickly said, "I will investigate tonight's case as soon as possible, please rest assured."

Qing Mu shook his head at this moment: "What happened tonight is already very clear."

Robinson: “Uh…”

Aoki bowed to Luke again and said, "Thank you for saving my life. If possible, I hope to invite you to my home tomorrow."

Luke rolled his eyes and suddenly smiled: "Mr. Aoki, you must be very busy these days, so I won't bother you. Leave me your contact information and we can talk when we are free, how about that?"

As he spoke, he couldn't help but glance at the Zhongfu Building next to him.

To be honest, the Kongbu gang hadn't done much damage to the building, but Detective John used a C4 to blow up several RPG-using gangsters and the entire second floor.

This restoration project will keep Zhongfu Company busy for a while.

Aoki thought about it, nodded in agreement, took out a business card from his inner pocket, and handed it to Luke with both hands.

Luke also took it with both hands and took a look. It was a personal business card.

There was nothing on it except a private cell phone number and name.

But most of Zhongfu Company’s employees don’t know this mobile phone number.

Luke thanked them with a smile, and watched old man Aoki and Deputy Director Robinson exchange a few polite words. Then, a stretched Lincoln came and took him away.

Luke then faced Chief Robinson again: "Chief, my girlfriend is frightened. I want to take her home later. Is that ok?"

Chief Robinson, a seasoned man, understood immediately and said, "No problem, you can leave soon. However, you have to report to the headquarters early tomorrow morning, and we still need you to explain the case today."

Having said that, he gestured and took Luke a few steps to the side: "Luke, today's case is the credit of our Los Angeles Police Department, do you understand?"

Luke was puzzled: "But, that Detective John McClane...?"

Robinson didn't care: "That's also the business of our police department and the New York Police Department, but all the credit has nothing to do with the FBI, understand?"

Luke was surprised: "FBI? Where are they?"

Robinson sneered: "In the helicopter."

Luke suddenly let out a "fuxk" sound, which startled Chief Robinson next to him.

He said angrily, "I took the hostages to the rooftop to wait for the helicopter, but they came up and shot at me, almost killing me. I said there weren't such rough people in the SWAT, but it turned out to be the FBI."

Robinson's eyes lit up.

It's settled! After this incident, Luke will never speak for the FBI, not even to say polite words.

Robinson patted his shoulder with satisfaction: "That's no problem. Go home and have a good rest tonight and spend time with your girlfriend." At the end, the tone was a little weird.

Luke chuckled: "Yes, sir."

Robinson laughed and signaled that he could go.

Luke saluted, called Ximena, and quickly got in the car and set off.

The two did not choose to go back to Ximena's dormitory, which was a university dormitory. Since they shared the room, any noise they made could be heard clearly by their roommates, and the bathroom was shared.

Luke waved his hand and stayed in a hotel.

Anyway, only a small part of the several thousand dollars of the rich man Sergey was used, so this time Luke simply took Ximena to the Beverly Hills Hotel and booked a luxury suite for eight hundred dollars a night.

After entering, the two smiled at each other, and visited the bathroom first, then the floor-to-ceiling glass, the large dining table, the sofa, and the extremely comfortable big bed.

The next morning, Luke was woken up by his cell phone.

When I picked up the phone, I heard Dustin's voice: "Where have you been? Selena said you weren't home."

Luke: “…I left with my girlfriend last night.”

Dustin paused and said helplessly, "You should also pay attention to the time, right? The headquarters called about the case last night. I have to take you to the headquarters to cooperate with the investigation."

Luke yawned. “Ah, what time is it now?”

Dustin: "It's ten past nine, how long do you want to stay?"

Luke said helplessly: “Okay, I’ll be at the door of our police station in thirty minutes.”

Dustin: "Only twenty minutes." Then he hung up the phone.

Luke curled his lips: You keep saying nice things to me when you need my help, but turn your back on me once the favor is over.

Over there, Ximena was lying on the big bed without any movement.

Luke called her a few times, but found that he couldn't wake her up, so he could only wash up quickly.

After coming out, he put one thousand US dollars and a note on the bedside table, pressed it with Ximena's mobile phone, and rubbed the naked plumpness twice before going out refreshed.

He went down to the front desk to check out and told them to knock on the door again before checking out at noon. Then he drove away.

The following time was extremely boring. He was taken by Dustin to the Parker Center, which is the headquarters of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The deputy director from last night, Duane Robinson, was also there. He smiled and shook hands with him, but his attitude was much more reserved than last night.
