The two walked over, and Maggie looked at Scott's Ant-Man suit with a suspicious expression: "Don't tell me you are cosplaying Iron Man in this outfit. It's made of iron."

Scott didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and said, "Just think of it as me wearing it to make Little Bean happy."

After a pause, he continued, "I... recently had some troubles, so it was inconvenient for me to call, so I could only come here secretly."

Maggie's face changed, as if she understood something. She covered her mouth with her hands and whispered, "Oh my God, you didn't report to your parole officer, did you?"

Jumping bail and absconding is quite troublesome for those who want to live a decent life in the future.

She put her hand on her forehead again and took a deep breath. "I'll call Paxton in and ask him to help you think of a solution."

Scott rolled his eyes. "Only a fool would jump bail! Only a fool would look for that guy!"

Paxton is his ex-wife's husband and a policeman.

The last time was when it was their daughter’s birthday, her ex-husband almost had a quarrel with her current husband over seeing their daughter.

That's why he decided to steal one last time.

Scott is not jealous of his ex-wife, nor does he blame Paxton for it.

But he was extremely unhappy when he was kicked out by the other party on his daughter's birthday.

He was depressed, but he could only pull Maggie aside and roughly explain his situation.

Maggie divorced him because he insisted on "robbing the rich to give to the poor", which caused him to go to jail. She is very sensitive about this issue.

After just a few words, her eyes widened: "Are you kidding me? You just got out and you want to go in for this?"

Scott quickly denied it: "Impossible. I don't even have a criminal record now. I'm a good citizen."

Maggie almost wanted to spit in his face.

Fortunately, she had never learned or used this ultimate move. She just sneered and was so angry that she couldn't say anything for a moment.

Scott knew what his ex-wife was thinking at a glance, and quickly revealed important evidence: "If you don't believe me, ask Paxton to go to the police station to check my file tomorrow, and you will know if what I said is true."

Seeing his expression, Maggie was skeptical: "Are you serious?"

"Really." Scott said this and then remembered another thing.

He reached into his backpack and pulled out a brown paper bag, handing it to Maggie: "Kathy's child support."

Maggie's face turned ugly again, and she had some bad guesses.

She took the brown paper bag, opened the unsealed side and took a look. Her face immediately turned completely black and she threw it back: "Get lost! Cathy doesn't need this dirty money."

Scott took it subconsciously, bewildered: "This is the payment for my last job, how can it be unclean?"

Maggie gritted her teeth and said, "Look at what you're wearing. You're even wearing a helmet that covers your face? You didn't even bother to change the envelope for the brand new hundred-dollar bill?"

Scott looked at the bank logo on the brown paper bag in his hand, suddenly realized something, and handed it back. "Again, ask Paxton to check my bank statements. You know the account number. If I got the money by robbing a bank, then you can give it to him as stolen money and ask him to issue a warrant for my arrest."

Maggie looked at Scott's calm expression and finally wavered: "You really didn't steal it?"

Scott smiled bitterly: "How can I rob the bank and give it to you?"

Maggie frowned, but still pushed the brown paper bag back: "If that's the case, you can take the money and live your life well first. Cathy only needs this."

Scott had no choice but to throw the brown paper bag containing $20,000 into the attic and turned away: "Kathy is my daughter, I have the right to spend money on her."

After hesitating for a while, Maggie chased after him: "Wait..."

While the two ran to Cathy's room and whispered, a large camera appeared behind the gap in the curtains of another house diagonally opposite, facing 840 Winter Street.

In the shot, Scott and Maggie can be clearly seen arguing in low voices.

At sunset, there was still some sunlight outside, but it was dark inside the house.

As the number was dialed, a voice whispered, "Boss, Scott Lang showed up. He's at his ex-wife's place."

After a moment, Darren looked at the photo of Scott and Maggie leaning against each other on his phone, but his eyes were fixed on the photo of his daughter Cathy not far away. He grinned, "Great! He is indeed a real man! He blew up my building and still dared to come out to meet his ex-wife and reunite with his family!"

He walked to a nearby place and stood in a black and yellow combat uniform. "Scott, I want to see if that old man of yours will come out to die if I catch him!"

At the same time, on the porch of 850 Winter Street, a middle-aged man with an ordinary appearance holding a tablet laughed: Darren, don't let me down! Otherwise, how can Scott owe me a favor!

This person is naturally Luke's first-level clone.

After Scott used his points to exchange for a legal income from the boss, he rushed to San Francisco from a small island somewhere in the Pacific.

Luke had already arranged a simulation prototype at No. 850, just in case Darren took desperate measures.

He also knew everything about Darren's men who were monitoring Scott's ex-wife's house.

Of course, Luke didn't keep Darren's famous name out of kindness, but simply wanted to wait for him to complete his final task as a tool.

In fact, Darren's cell phone communications were constantly being monitored, and his whereabouts and external contacts were completely transparent to Luke.

Now that this tool man has finally figured it out, the matter should be completely over.

More than ten minutes later, Scott was enjoying the "Paxton BBQ" his daughter brought downstairs when he suddenly heard a small but clear voice: "Darren is here to bother you in his combat uniform. The Mercedes coming from the west is his."

Scott was stunned, then he quickly ran to the window and looked around.

Then I saw a black Mercedes-Benz sedan driving towards me at a normal speed.

He hesitated for a moment and put down the barbecue: "Xiaodoudou, I'm going to the bathroom first and will come back to continue eating."

As he said this, he walked out of the bedroom door in a few steps, his body shrank instantly, and he crawled out of the next room.

A few flying ants outside the house just took off, caught him in mid-air as he jumped down from the second floor, and flew towards the Mercedes-Benz.

It wasn't that he was impulsive, but he had seen Darren driving this black Mercedes.

I won’t mention the combat uniforms, it’s always a good idea to go and have a look just in case.

The flying ant quickly caught up with the oncoming Mercedes and threw him onto the car.

Scott looked through the front windshield and saw a figure wearing a yellow and black combat uniform.

Scott's expression changed immediately.

Hope talked about Darren's research results and did mention that the combat uniforms were yellow and black.

Scott's heart tightened: No! Darren can't be allowed to rush to Maggie and Cathy's house, otherwise they might be hurt by mistake.
