"Wth?" Selina couldn't help but sigh: "This Karen is really a... genius."

Karen's voice was ringing in the monitoring: "Don't you know? Many people will change the lock of the front door first when they move, but they won't change the remote control of the electronic garage door. Last time Meg and her friends went on vacation, they left a spare key with me, and I forgot to return it to them. Now I need it."

Luke sweatdropped.

Fortunately, the access control system of my home is bound, and the door key is actually just a cover, otherwise Karen, the idle lady, would break in sooner or later.

Is it necessary for this housewife to be so curious? Besides, aren't these two afraid that Tim and his wife will find out

Luke adjusted the monitoring and radio systems again and was surprised to find that Tim and his wife were not at home.

What were these two doing

They all went out to party all day. He and Selina, Jeff and Karen were all at home, but these two were the only ones who went out again.

What a dedicated worker! Luke muttered to himself.

After playing all day, he didn't believe that the couple went out at night to continue playing, and the agents were not that enthusiastic.

He was too lazy to care about Jeff and his wife.

Judging from Tim and Natalie's behavior, it is unlikely that they have set up booby traps in the house.

After all, this is an ordinary community in the country, not a battlefield. It is impossible for anyone to sneak into the house and kill them to silence them.

Even in Luke's house, they usually just trigger the alarm, and the real killer weapon must be confirmed before it will be activated.

He simply went to take a shower and asked Selena to watch the surveillance camera first.

After coming out of the shower, Selena waved in the living room: "Tim and his wife are back, haha, come and watch the fun."

Luke: “…Don’t tell me Jeff and Karen are still at Tim’s house.”

Selina nodded repeatedly: "You are so smart, they really didn't come out."

Luke: “…They are really professional.”

He wasn't worried about Jeff and his wife.

Even if Tim and his wife found them, they would not do anything to them and would even help them explain.

Who told Tim and his wife to have other intentions? If necessary, they would just pretend to be blind and stupid.

"Jeff is dragging something out? It looks like a... body? Uh, okay, that's Karen." Selina said.

Luke was stunned, and finally came over to look at the footage on the surveillance camera.

Jeff raised his hands to his waist, grabbed his wife's legs, and dragged Karen out from the side door backwards.

Luke clicked his tongue in surprise: "Karen's head isn't bald, is it?"

Selina stared at the screen, also feeling relieved: "Fortunately, you are not that weak and won't do this to me."

Luke smiled: "Even if I only have one hand left, I will hold you and run away."

Selina couldn't help but chuckle as she thought back to that night with Wolfkell.

As Jeff dragged his wife all the way back home, Luke turned the surveillance back to their house.

Listening to Jeff's bewildered mumbling, he quickly determined one thing: Karen was not dead, nor was she injured; she had just been injected with an anesthetic or something.

What's even more speechless is that this thing was shot out from a pen-shaped anesthetic gun when Jeff was looking for a pen to copy something, and it hit Karen's butt.

Hopefully, Karen won't have a sore butt tomorrow when she wakes up.

Or maybe Jeff had already pulled out the anesthetic needle when he dragged his wife away, otherwise domestic violence would be inevitable.

After confirming this, Luke stopped monitoring Jeff and his wife: "Okay, I'm going to work, you train on your own."

Selina glared at him and said, "Got it." Then she took the tablet and went to the training room.

Luke wasn't very interested in Jeff and his wife's private affairs, but she was listening very attentively.

Now, Karen is actively harassing Jeff.

Perhaps this anesthetic has some other side effects, such as causing people to have primitive impulses or something.

It would be a shame not to listen to this live broadcast!

The next day was working hours, but Luke just asked Selina to call Elsa and told her that they would go directly to investigate the case and not go to the police station.

There was no urgent case on Elsa's side that required their presence, so she just said she understood and hung up the phone.

It is so convenient to have a close boss.

Selena was even happier.

It’s a rare opportunity that I don’t have to rush out in the morning, this is one of the reasons.

Luke had plenty of time last night and even went to a Cantonese restaurant for a meal. This morning he simply made classic Cantonese breakfast of barbecued pork buns, shrimp dumplings, steamed dumplings, and rice rolls.

Such a delicious and hearty breakfast is the second.

On the tablet beside them, Jeff and his wife were whispering to each other, revealing an important message: they found a bug in the gift Tim gave them, and Jeff was going to contact the company's security director to report the situation.

The third thing is that there is a live broadcast to listen to early in the morning, and it is also an exciting thing to eavesdrop on.

Luke ignored her.

She has very little entertainment in her daily life and rarely interacts with her neighbors.

For the safety of Jeff and his wife, Luke and his wife skipped work today.

Just because Tim and his friends aren't brutal, that doesn't mean Jeff and his wife won't be in danger.

When an honest person gets involved in certain events, he is usually the one who dies the fastest.

Afterwards, Luke drove to follow Jeff to work, while Selina stayed at home watching the suspicious housewife Karen.

After a day of observation, there was nothing unusual.

At least Jeff got off work on time and drove out in his little royal blue Chevy hatchback.

Apart from looking a little nervous, there is no big problem.

Luke sighed.

Well, Jeff's nervous look probably means something bad.

Although this honest man is good at communicating with others, he cannot hide his emotions.

After driving home, Luke greeted Selina: "Everything is fine?"

Selina shrugged. "Karen, Natalie, and I, the three women are in their own rooms. Karen is watching Natalie, and I'm watching them both."

Luke hummed, "Did you see Jeff's expression? He might have confirmed something, like he's a spy or something."

Selina laughed hard. "Tim and the other two are probably agents or detectives, serious defenders of America. It's more likely that they are here to investigate spies. Wow! Listen to this."

She stopped talking and turned up the volume on her tablet. "Karl, why are we going there? The abandoned warehouse on Route 57? This place is so weird, isn't it? And why don't we talk at work instead of going there now?"

"Okay, I promise, I won't report this to the police without your permission, nor will I mention this to anyone else."

Luke and Selina looked at each other.

Selina: "... Why do I feel that the person Jeff is looking for looks like an undercover villain in a movie?"

Luke was speechless and felt that this matter was very suspicious: "Carl Proongo should be a security director of MBI. This matter is indeed under his jurisdiction. Let's go, take the equipment, something might happen."
