Chapter 448: A Gun for an Eye (Part 2)

Luke didn't pay attention to the two people's expressions. He just pointed at the blonde beauty and the Asian old man and said, "These two are the ones who shot Bruce to death. Of course, you can see this lady's thighs. I shot her twice just now."

A group of FBI's eyes fell on the big white legs of the blonde beauty.

The tight skirt could not cover her thighs. She was standing with her hands on her hips and had lifted her thin black windbreaker to her waist, so the two gray-black holes were clearly visible.

The old Asian man looked at his angry companion and sighed: "Here are our IDs, you two." Then he took out a book of ID and threw it to Charles.

Charles took it, looked at it for a few seconds, then took out an instrument and scanned the document. The instrument made a short "beep" sound.

He threw the certificate to Flagg again with a helpless look on his face: "Okay, we will contact your superiors about this matter. If Agent Flagg has no objection, you can leave."

The blonde beauty raised her head arrogantly towards Luke, made an international hand gesture, and turned away.

Luke sneered: Who's afraid of who!

The muzzle of the gun drooped in his hand.

Bang!

"Ouch, it hurts! You damn bastard, I'm going to kill you!" There was a hole on the blonde beauty's butt, and gray-black smoke slowly floated out. The pain was so severe that she couldn't help but hold her butt and jumped around there.

The old Asian man smiled bitterly and said, "Detective, if you do this again, we will file a complaint against you."

Luke shrugged. "Go ahead. Remember to send me a copy of her medical report."

The little Asian old man was speechless. He went over and pulled the jumping blonde beauty, then caught the document thrown by Flagg and walked away quickly.

Luke watched the two people drive away in the Chevrolet Laguna, then looked at Charles and Flagg: "You two, is this the end of the matter?"

Charles and Flagg looked unhappy, but both nodded.

Both of them have some friendship with Luke. It was Luke who helped them catch Bruce just now. Although they failed in the end, that was not Luke's problem. There is no need to target him.

Luke nodded: "Then I'll leave first. I'll leave this to you guys."

He looked at the trouble Bruce had caused along the way and didn't want to get involved at all.

It is not known how many people will report the case or complain, but a conservative estimate is that there will be at least 70 or 80 families. Some of these families have broken windows, and some have dented walls. A large hole was blown in the third floor of the Odyssey Hotel.

Luke doesn't want to take the blame.

After making a phone call gesture to Charles, he got in the car and returned to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel entrance, Luke saw Jeff and his wife standing there and watching. He drove over and said, "Do you need a ride? You two."

Jeff and his wife were pleasantly surprised to see him coming back: "You're okay? That's great."

Luke smiled and warned, "Of course it's okay. Don't mention this matter again. Someone will come to you to sign a confidentiality agreement soon."

Jeff and his wife looked nervous: "Really?"

Luke nodded. "Really? But since we've signed the agreement, we better keep our mouth shut. By the way, where are Tim and Natalie? Well, I saw them."

Tim and his wife also drove out and parked next to them.

Luke motioned for Jeff and his wife to get in the car, and the six people in the two cars went home.

When they stopped at Jeff's house, Luke got out of the car and called Tim: "Will you guys finish this?"

Tim thought about it and realized that tonight's operation almost got Luke and Jeff into trouble, so he revealed a little information: "We have acquaintances in the FBI behind us. They will clean it up, so you don't have to worry."

Luke raised an eyebrow: "Flag?"

Tim and Natalie looked at him in surprise: "You know him?"

Luke hummed, "We've dealt with each other once, so today counts as the second time. That should be fine. Everyone go back and rest. Good night."

As he said this, he waved his hand, got in the car and left.

Selina looked in the rearview mirror and saw Tim and his wife talking to Jeff and his wife, and then hugging each other. She couldn't help but ask, "When did Natalie and Karen have an affair?"

Luke shrugged, "You spend more time with them, and if you don't know, how would I know."

Selina frowned and thought: "But, they shouldn't have time! We were together that day, except in the dressing room. But that was too short, couldn't it compare to Jeff and Karen's relationship of more than ten years?"

Luke couldn't help it and laughed out loud.

Selina looked over in confusion.

He laughed and said, "Karen is talking nonsense. There is no such thing as a private relationship between the two of them. It was purely a trick to attract the attention of the criminals. If we didn't take action, Natalie and Tim would have done it."

Selina was stunned: "But why do I feel like what Karen said is true?"

Luke sighed, "So, Karen is very talented. It's a pity that she has to be a housewife. With her suspicious nature... Tsk tsk, anyone with something to hide will definitely be discovered by her."

Selina also laughed: "Of course, because you have nothing to hide, she is also suspicious of you."

Luke: "So, it's not a bad thing for a woman to be a little suspicious, as long as she doesn't use it on her husband."

Selina thought about it and shook her head. "Luckily it's Jeff. He's so honest that Karen doesn't suspect him. If it was someone like Danny, Karen would have divorced him long ago."

The two chatted all the way home.

Selina went to practice. Luke took out his cell phone and called Charles. "I know you'll be very busy, so be direct. Who are those two people?"

Charles was stunned when he heard Luke's straightforward question, then smiled bitterly: "You can't just say that."

Luke: "Charles, they were shot in the same exact condition as Bruce's monster. If I meet someone like this again, should I beat them up like a monster like Bruce, or let them go like you did?"

Charles was silent for a moment before he said, "How about I ask Team Leader Wells for his opinion and then give you a reply?"

Luke: "If it's some secret, then I won't ask. At most I'll beat you up first and then notify you to come and confirm it."

Charles: "…Thank you for your trust in us, Luke."

Luke laughed and hung up the phone.

He was not surprised by this answer.

A monster that can ignore gun attacks must be a big deal, and Charles and Flagg's attitudes also explain something.

At least, Charles' SHIELD and Flagg's joint advanced research group are familiar with the institutions to which the two blonde beauties belong, and they even have official contacts, which is why they can confirm their credentials.
