Chris was still following him, and Bobby was following them both, while Nancy and Quentin were already searching the place.

Compared to Chris, who was saved twice by Luke, the two of them were more eager to figure out what Freddy was trying to do.

Quentin picked up something from a worn-out table and muttered, "That's right, this must be his place."

What Quentin was holding in his hand was a finger knife, which was part of the claw-like weapon that Freddy was carrying.

Nancy glanced around for a moment and then fixed her eyes on a painting: "I... think there's something behind it."

Luke's keen sense of smell had already discovered this, and he nodded and stepped forward: "Let me do it."

Hanging the camping lantern in his hand on the wall, he reached out and tore off some graffiti-like children's drawings, revealing a small door underneath.

With gentle force of both hands, he took down the small door, moved it to the side, squatted down and took a look, and found that there was a hidden small room inside.

He took down the camping lantern from the wall and put it into the hidden little room: "Do you want to go in and take a look?"

Nancy and Quentin nodded in unison. Chris said nothing, just looked at Luke.

After a while, Bobby was left in the outer room, and Luke and the other three went into the small room.

This room is much smaller than the outside. It was created by building two walls in the corner of the original room.

There was only a single bed with a pile of dusty bedding on it, and no other furniture.

Only the walls were covered with various crude patterns graffitied with paint.

Over time, the paint has turned gray and black, which is not cute at all and is quite scary if you look closely.

Nancy stared at the patterns, reached out to touch them, and murmured, "These seem to be... drawn by me when I was a child."

Luke didn't pay much attention to it. He looked around and picked up a dusty black paper box from the bedside. When he opened it, a small, old photo album was revealed.

He opened the photo album and found some old photos sealed in plastic.

He just flipped through two pages before speeding up and scanning the photos.

After a few seconds, he closed the photo album and frowned in thought.

Quentin noticed his expression and couldn't help asking, "What's in it?"

Chris and Nancy both looked at the photo album in Luke's hand.

Luke shook his head and didn't answer the question directly.

He glanced at Nancy, then at Chris: "This may be what he wants you to remember."

The two girls subconsciously took a step forward, and Nancy couldn't help asking, "What is it?"

Luke was silent for a moment: "The answer you want is what happened in this kindergarten that year."

Nancy took another step forward and held out her hand: "Can you show it to me?"

Luke frowned and thought for a moment, then looked at Chris: "I roughly understand why he wants you to come here, but this thing is a trap he left behind. So, let me confirm it again, do you really want to see it?"

Nancy hesitated, but nodded: "I want to see it."

Chris looked at Luke's expression and suddenly shook her head: "I won't watch it anymore."

Luke hummed, "Okay, Nancy, wait a moment."

As he spoke, he quickly pulled out most of the photos in the album and then threw the album to Nancy.

Then he took out his lighter, walked to the corner, and burned all the dozen or so photos in his hand, watching them turn into a pool of ashes.

While doing this, Luke used his body to block the view of others so that they could not see the contents of the photo.

Over there, Nancy looked at the photos in her hand and her face suddenly turned red, then quickly turned pale: "No, it won't."

Quentin moved his body at this time, wanting to go over and look at the photo.

Luke flashed to his side and pressed his shoulder: "That's hers."

Quentin was speechless.

Even if he wanted to go over there, he couldn't do it now. The force coming from his shoulder made it impossible for him to move forward.

Seeing Nancy's tears suddenly burst out, Luke didn't feel any guilt.

Given the curiosity shown by Quentin and Nancy, if he simply burned all the photos, it would probably make the two of them suspicious.

Fortunately, Chris trusted him very much and was not that curious.

Luke walked over and handed over the lighter in his hand: "You should need this."

Nancy stared at the lighter blankly for a moment before she came to her senses, grabbed the lighter, and started to light the cigarette.

However, her hands were shaking violently and were very weak, and she failed to light it after several attempts.

Luke didn't help, he just turned around and blocked the view of the other two.

After a while, he smelled the smell of burning photos and heard Nancy's uncontrollable sobbing.

After a while, he moved away and walked to Chris.

Nancy? She had Quentin to comfort her. These two were obviously having some feelings, so she didn't need him to get involved.

Noticing the doubt in Chris's eyes, he said softly, "Since you have decided to let go of the past, don't dwell on it anymore. Not all memories are good."

Chris looked at Nancy who was crying miserably over there, and felt inexplicably relieved.

She had a feeling that if she chose to look at those photos, she would be as unbearable as Nancy.

Now, she had a rough guess about the photos, but if she hadn't seen them with her own eyes, she wouldn't have received such a huge shock.

Sometimes, humans are very good at covering their ears and stealing bells.

After a while, Nancy finally calmed down.

Luke finally spoke: "Okay, Nancy. I know you're upset, but we should address the root of the problem, right?"

Nancy looked up, stared at him for a moment, and nodded slowly.

Quentin couldn't help but ask, "How do we deal with him?"

Luke looked at the two of them and said, "You haven't had a good night's sleep in a long time, right?"

The two smiled bitterly and nodded.

Luke: "Now, go lie down on the bed and go to sleep."

The two looked at the dirty and broken bed and twisted their bodies a little uncomfortably.

Luke had already walked over, dragged out the single bed, and then carefully and slowly wrapped up the tattered quilt and sheets on it into a ball and threw it into the corner.

"This should be fine." He looked at the single bed with only wooden boards left and nodded with satisfaction.

Nancy and Quentin breathed a sigh of relief.

Although the board is hard, at least there is not much dust on it.

At this time, Luke continued, "Chris, Nancy, come and lie down."

As he spoke, he dragged a wooden stool over from the side, tested its sturdiness, and sat on the head of the bed: "Lean your head over here."

Quentin was confused and couldn't help asking, "What about me?"

The two girls couldn't help but look at him, then looked at the single bed.

Luke had just sat down on the stool at the head of the bed. When he heard this question, he subconsciously looked at... the floor beneath his feet.
