Luke said casually: "The car you were in was hit. We are calling an ambulance for you. Don't move, okay?"

The little girl nodded obediently.

Luke subconsciously asked, "What's your name?" This question was purely out of professional habit.

The little girl said, "Angela Asford."

Luke suddenly had an idea: "Who is your father? How do I contact him? I'll call him and tell him to come over."

Little girl: "Professor Charles Asford, he works for the Umbrella Corporation."

Luke finally determined the source of the familiarity of everything before his eyes.

Damn, this is the beginning of the movie Resident Evil 2.

According to his rough memory, Umbrella Corporation would begin evacuating important employees from Raccoon City in the morning, then zombies would appear, and before dawn the next day, an atomic weapon would be dropped.

Damn it! You were supposed to watch Resident Evil, but you missed the first episode.

Luke's mind was racing.

Now it’s not a question of regret. In fact, the plot of 1 is of no use to him.

When Alice was transformed into level 2, she should still be lying naked in some laboratory of Umbrella.

What Luke needs to decide is, what should he do

After just a moment's thought, Luke made a decisive decision: intervene! Follow the plot, but don't care too much about it.

For example, the little girl Angela in front of us is an initiator and the reason why Professor Asford helps.

But does Luke need her

unnecessary.

Well, no, he needed something from her.

Luke asked Selina to carry the little girl to his car. He quickly climbed into the car, then took out a schoolbag and opened it. There was a silver box inside. When he opened it, there were five blue and green potions inside.

He quickly threw the schoolbag back into the car, closed the box and covered it with clothes, then walked over to the little girl and asked, "Can you contact your father? Like his phone number or something like that."

Angela hesitated and gave a number.

Luke called Selina: "Take her with you, let's go quickly."

Selina didn't hesitate and immediately got into the driver's seat. When she saw Luke and the little girl get in the back seat, she started the car and asked, "Where are we going?"

Luke: “Leave the city.”

Selina didn't say anything more. She turned the steering wheel, stepped on the accelerator, turned around and headed out of the city.

Luke looked at Angela's chest, where a cell phone was hanging: "Can I use it for a moment?"

Angela nodded obediently.

He took the phone and dialed the number Angela had just reported.

After a moment, the call was connected and a hoarse male voice sounded: "Hello, who is that?"

Luke: "I met a little girl named Angela here. The car she was riding in had a car accident just now, and I rescued her. Now we are..."

He looked around and said, "We are on our way out of the city to the west. Can you come over?"

There was silence for a moment: "Let me hear her voice."

Luke put the phone in front of Angela: "He wants to hear you talk."

Angela: "Hi? Dad?"

There was a sound of exhalation, and it was obvious that he was much more relaxed. "Are you okay? Angie?"

Angela: "It's okay, I just feel a little dizzy."

Professor Asford said a few words and then said, "Angie, let me talk to the man who saved you."

Angie agreed obediently: "Oh, okay."

She looked at Luke: "Daddy wants to talk to you."

Luke took the phone back to his ear and said, "Hey, when are you sending someone?"

Professor Asford was silent for a moment: "What do you want?"

Luke was stunned for a moment, but soon understood and said with a smile: "No, Professor Asford, I am not a kidnapper. I just happened to see the car your daughter was in had an accident. Now your daughter is fine, but the other two people in the car died. Do you need us to take her to the hospital first?"

Professor Asford was silent for a moment before asking, "No, I'll come pick her up. Where are you?"

Luke looked in the distance and found a suitable location: "Near the gas station in front of the highway entrance outside the city."

Professor Ashford: "I'll be right there."

Luke: "Okay, Mr. Asford, please come pick up your daughter as soon as possible. We have urgent matters to attend to."

Asford: "Got it. Thank you."

Luke hung up the phone with a smile on his face: "Selina, go to that gas station."

The two arrived at the gas station. Luke took a look and carried Angela to the bench outside the small supermarket. "Your father will come to pick you up soon. Don't leave here. This big sister and I have something else to do. We can't delay here. If you have anything, go into the supermarket and call the clerk uncle, okay?"

Angela nodded but said nothing.

The two then waved goodbye to the little girl.

After getting in the car, Luke asked Selina to drive the car more than a hundred meters away: "Drive to the town of Biddle, which is forty kilometers away, and wait for me. I have something to do. I will come back to see you before tomorrow morning."

Selina shook her head, "No, I want to go with you. We're partners, aren't we?"

Luke hesitated for two seconds and nodded: "Okay, let's do some preparations and go back to the city."

Soon, the two returned to the city again.

At the moment, the small town is still peaceful and there seems to be no special changes.

But Luke knew that at noon or afternoon, the infected people here would turn into zombies and start biting the residents on a large scale, creating more zombies.

Luke: "Have we seen a gun store near the police station?"

Selina: "Yes, when I was talking to the two policemen, they said that there was a weapons store on the small street behind the police station, and they bought guns there."

Luke was surprised: "Why would they say that?"

Selina chuckled: "Of course I was asking on purpose. Maybe we need to get a batch of guns privately. It's more convenient to ask in advance than to find them at the last minute. Anyway, it's just a casual question."

Luke: ...Well, it's apparently hard for male police officers to resist the charm of beautiful women.

The two men drove deliberately and got off in front of the gun store.

After entering, Selena took advantage of her gender and started chatting with the owner.

However, she did not ask for any sensitive information. She just asked about the guns here and what types they had, looking like a novice enthusiast.

But what she said had some professional content in it, so she wasn't completely ignorant.

This immediately aroused the interest of the forty-something white shop owner, who started to brag incessantly about his complete range of firearms.

Luke was checking things out in the store by himself.

In a Resident Evil movie, everything can be missing, but guns and bullets cannot be missing.

The best way to fight the swarming zombies is to use a gun.
