Being A Detective in The World of Film and Television

Chapter 737: Traveling around Los Angeles with my big baby (3 more)

Luke chuckled in a deep voice: "So, you want to send them all to the funeral home to rest forever? Then what will be said on TV tomorrow? The new generation of killer Iron Man, who completed the feat of slaughtering hundreds of people in one night?"

Tony frowned and suddenly shut his mouth.

When Luke said this, he immediately understood.

Even if they were gangsters, even if he killed gangsters while rescuing people, if too many of them died in one night, he would still be criticized by some saintly people.

In this society, if a fast food restaurant kills a chicken, people will go to protest against the cruelty. If he really killed so many people, Iron Man would definitely be labeled a serial killer.

His mind raced, and he suddenly understood: "Is this the reason why you never killed anyone, or even seriously injured those criminals?"

Luke glided away again: "You're not so stupid after all."

Tony: "What! Excuse me?"

Luke's memories of his previous life are very vague, but he vaguely remembers that when superheroes fight, accidentally injuring civilians will be used by politicians to make a big fuss.

He wasn't sure if it was superheroes like Tony.

Memories from decades ago may be mixed up, but realistically and logically, this will happen sooner or later.

Take SWAT for example. Recently, two of Harrison's team members injured hostages during a rescue operation.

Afterwards, the two team members were sued by the injured hostage and have now been suspended pending investigation.

This is still normal police enforcement.

Superheroes are not law enforcers, including Batman.

They are vigilantes! Exactly the kind of people the law dislikes the most.

Law is the product of procedural justice.

A vigilante, however, is someone who bypasses procedures and seeks justice on his own.

The two sides are fundamentally opposed.

Luke was distracted as he thought about these issues, while strolling around Los Angeles with the newly enticed Iron Man baby.

A few minutes later, Tony suddenly accelerated and turned, flying towards another place: "Haha, found it."

Luke curled his lips, broke the hands of the two arsonists, and chased after them.

He had access to police radio channels, and so could Tony.

However, there had been no news of large-scale gangsters appearing before, so Tony did not have a good chance to overtake the score.

In less than a minute, Luke swooped down from the air and kicked a gangster holding an AK away.

Tony's voice has already sounded: "Black Charcoal Head, you are late."

While speaking, the pulse cannon in his palm smashed the glass of a car. The broken glass made the two gangsters a few meters away covered in blood, and they covered their faces and screamed.

Luke's figure was close to the ground, moving forward rapidly. He swung a punch, and the hands of a gangster holding a gun bent from his forearms. Looking at the Transformers-like arms, he let out a tragic "ah".

"But I'm still ahead in the score now." He said, and swung his body. The cloak on his back hardened, and the tip swept across the wrist of the gangster next to him who had just turned around.

Two blood lines appeared on the bandit’s hands. His hands fell limply and his rifle slipped off. “My hand, my hand.”

Luke: "You can even use it to eat." Of course, you can forget about doing difficult jobs like shooting people with a gun in this lifetime.

For a moment, outside the bank at the corner of the street, dozens of gangsters were surrounded by two people.

One of the gangsters was holding a rifle and firing wildly at the flying silver armor, shouting, "Go to hell, go to hell! Go to hell, you nosy guy!"

Tony used the wall upstairs for leverage, turned around and landed behind him, stretched out a finger, and knocked on the gangster's crown.

Boom!

There was a dull sound with crisp knocking sounds, and the bandit fell down with his eyes rolled back.

"Sir, you have found a way to attack non-lethally." Jarvis complimented without missing a beat.

Tony's mouth twitched: "My super armor can only use my fingers to knock these punks."

At the beginning, the battleship was targeting Batman.

The gap between expectation and reality is quite large.

As he spoke, he turned and held out his hand.

Bang!

A trash can was blown away by the pulse cannon and hit the two gangsters.

"That's appropriate now. But sir, I have to remind you that the energy supply of your armor is becoming unstable. It's best to return immediately." Jarvis reminded again.

Tony ran a few steps on the ground in frustration and bumped into a car directly. The car knocked two gangsters who were hiding behind and firing away.

Looking at the data provided by Jarvis, he quickly analyzed: "It's just a minor problem caused by the continuous operation of the thrusters. I can just stop using the pulse cannon and fly."

This is the most common problem with experimental models: lack of stability.

Without continuous operation and combat testing, many problems will not be revealed.

For Tony, this is also a good opportunity to collect data on his own armor, which he cannot miss.

Tony glanced at Luke, who was charging forward and knocking four or five gangsters, including their guns, into the wall. He sighed, "This guy's skill level is definitely not that low. His armor is a low-profile version designed for this kind of urban battlefield."

Luke didn't care at all whether Tony could beat him.

The pride of a certain young master is so great that it is beyond the sky. It is impossible for him to plot against him.

Since he has chosen Batman as his opponent, he will not let his victory be tainted.

While Batman was rescuing people, he fired a cannon directly at him. Such a victory is meaningless.

This is just like before a boxing match, the champion would not hire a group of thugs to send his opponent to the hospital.

Because only by defeating your opponent head-on in the boxing ring can your fame and income increase significantly.

And the young master must defeat Batman fairly in order to satisfy his sense of superiority.

After Luke arrived at the scene, he quickly cleared out several of the most dangerous bandits, then rushed directly to the back of a car, stretched out his hands, picked up two female police officers hiding behind the car, and used his armor and cloaks on his back to protect them firmly against his chest, and sent them to a corner not far away.

"Wow, Batman!" A female police officer's eyes were shining and her hands were constantly touching his breastplate.

After Luke decisively threw her into the corner, he reluctantly pulled down the other guy who was also touching his chest and put him away, and told him, "Hide well."

As he said this, he turned into a black shadow again, rushed up to the wall from the ground, ran sideways on the wall for five or six meters, did a somersault and then kicked back with both legs.

Two gangsters who were shooting wildly at this side with guns were kicked in the chest. They flew more than ten meters away, fell to the ground, rolled seven or eight times and couldn't move.

"Wow, Claire, he's so handsome, he's so handsome!" a policewoman exclaimed excitedly.

Another one was also watching intently from the corner: "Alright, Karen! You call everyone handsome when you see them, and you just said you wanted to marry that Tin Man! Humph, you're a fickle bitch! I declare you expelled from Batman's First Fan Club."

Karen: “Daydreaming!”

These two policewomen are of course Karen and the little monkey Claire.

Unfortunately, they encountered a premeditated bank robbery.
