During the day she cruised around the city in an inflatable boat, and many people must have seen her drive the boat into the library.
You should not have the intention to harm others, but you must be on guard against others.
Who knows if someone will come and rob her of her money or kill her while she is sleeping.
She had just inspected it and found that although the city library looked like it was built as a whole, it was actually two separate buildings.
There is a tiny gap in the middle, which is just the size of an inflatable boat.
The location is hidden, and it is even more difficult to be discovered in the dark night.
Fu Anan took down the large plastic basin and paddled the boat right between the two buildings. The eaves above her head just helped her block the night wind and rain. Fu Anan lay in the inflatable boat and covered herself with the uniform she had taken from the police station.
Although it was a little cold at night, it was safe at least.
—
late at night
There was not a single star in the sky, and it was pitch dark all around.
There were faint paddling sounds coming from all around the library, but they were drowned out by the sound of heavy rain and were barely audible.
Just as Fu Anan thought, someone really followed them secretly in the heavy rain.
They entered through the broken window, and five or six of them split up to check every part of the library that hadn't been flooded.
Half an hour later, several people gathered together.
"Lao Zhang, is there anyone in the library?"
"I found a pile of dust on the lower floor. Could it be that the little girl has left?"
"Impossible, I saw that girl come in with my own eyes, and she didn't leave until dark."
"Where's that person? He's not hiding, is he?"
"Look more carefully."
After several people exchanged information in a flurry of conversation, they quickly separated to continue searching for Fu Anan.
Bang!
It was dark and someone tripped over the bookshelf.
Fu Anan woke up suddenly and heard several people talking not far away.
"Brother, there is no one here. We might as well search the library for something and take it back."
"Bullshit! I've been observing her for so long, she must still be in the library. Look at the boat I saw this afternoon, are you willing to let go of the duck you have caught?"
Fu Anan held her breath as she listened to their conversation, her whole body tense and she dared not move. They didn't know that the person they were looking for was only a wall away.
Fu Anan touched his wrist and took out the pistol from the space.
"What are you still standing here for? Hurry up and look for him!" The leader cursed, "Don't waste your fucking time, or he will really run away later."
"Wang Laosi, you guard the broken window, and the others listen out for any unusual sounds."
Luckily I didn't stay inside.
Fu Anan hid in this corner and waited for them to leave.
Sure enough, after searching for another twenty minutes, the people inside wanted to give up.
"Brother, the person may have really run away."
"Yes, brother, maybe you missed her when she ran away."
"There's not even any water in this library, brother. Why don't we go back? It's pretty cold."
After several people's persuasion, Fu Anan heard their footsteps preparing to leave.
Just when she was about to finish, an explosion suddenly sounded not far away.
There was a violent explosion two streets away.
The explosions continued and the flames lit up half the sky.
Screams could be faintly heard from the other side of the street, followed by waves of heat.
The originally calm water surface began to shake violently, throwing several big men who were already on the raft off. Everyone looked at each other in the flames.
