Chapter 407: Final words

Final words

The meeting was a few days late as planned.

In fact, I finished writing it while I was on leave from the hospital last month.

Take this time away from the city to recuperate your body.

I have been sending out manuscripts.

The reason why I posted it all at once last night is because a reader said that he has a roommate [who is seriously ill] and may not have much time left, and hopes to see the finale before he dies.

(1) First, let’s talk about the reasons for opening the book:

I haven't written for a long time, and my hands were itchy. One day at three o'clock in the middle of the night, my brain suddenly twitched because of a certain game, so I started reading.

(2) The results of this book

flutter.

(3) About the price of a single chapter

From the time I opened the book to now, a total of nine and a half readers have asked me why my chapters are more expensive than those of other authors. Is it to get money...

Emmm... This is still necessary to say.

It’s not a money trap. No one read this book from the time it was first published to the time it was completed. Not long ago, I wrote one million words before I was promoted to LV2. It was mostly just to protect my pen name.

The chapter fee is actually calculated based on the number of words (1 cent per 200 words, higher V is cheaper).

Many times the author gets so excited that he can't stop writing, and there will be big chapters of three to four thousand or even five to six thousand.

At least so far, writing a book has been quite a joy.

(The other half is both a reader and an author. The author actually doesn’t know about the price issue, so he will explain it separately)

(4) About the characters

There are actually very few characters in this book, no more than a hundred named.

In fact, there are many characters and the number of words can be reduced through dialogue.

But the author is very lazy, even lazy.

The protagonist of the free chapter has been criticized for being weak. I didn't handle this well. I mainly wanted to write about the growth process of the protagonist, but after all, the newcomer's writing skills are not enough.

This book is not a battle of wits. The IQs of all the main supporting characters are only at the level of normal people. It is not clear what books some of the readers who read about battles of wits have read before.

(5) About the main line

Many readers reported that there was no main line.

In fact, there is.

It’s written clearly on the title of the book.

Of course, this book was not written in a very traditional way of writing online articles. At first, I just wanted to write some short stories.

(6) Regarding certain hints

There are actually a lot of metaphors or easter eggs buried in the early stages of the book.

For example, the carp is dead in the first few chapters, which implies that Li Yu is dead, and the falling blue flower in the later chapters implies that Ye Ling fell from the building.

Some give it very obviously, and some hide it more deeply.

Interspersed in the plot.

But no one sees it, whether it's obvious or not...

There are also a large number of readers who said they couldn't understand and asked me if I was overly concerned with the word count.

So I feel like this book was a failure.

In fact, the subsequent plot did not follow the same formula as the previous one, because it was a rush, so I tried various writing methods.

I don’t care about my grades, I am quite happy writing.

(The new book will be as simple as possible, and there will no longer be a situation where a small foreshadowing is buried from the beginning to the end)

(7) About some plots

Some cases are adapted from true stories.

That's all I can say.

There are some things that I want to write but I don’t dare to write. Even if I do, I don’t dare to be too specific. I feel itchy.

(8) About trolls

(Since many of the people reading this book are authors who have not yet signed a contract, this paragraph is mainly written for new authors)

This book saw its first wave of professional trolls around Chapter 20-40.

There are about three waves of free periods.

I stopped counting them after they were put on the shelves.

So new authors don’t panic when you see these comments.

The comments are very unprofessional. I probably started spraying without reading the book. The comments are incomprehensible. Maybe the other party didn't pay enough.

It should be a peer.

Others simply feel uncomfortable in real life, so they want to vent on the Internet.

Anyway, no matter how much I criticize, I am the number one new suspense book in that issue (Dog Head).

Apart from those who are professional sprayers, there are also some who have read the book but did not read it carefully.

For example, some readers start to criticize the world view after just reading two chapters. I think the world view starts to be slowly revealed in the fifth chapter...

(You can listen to some of the opinions of readers. High Vs generally have a vicious vision. They are willing to pay and read the book seriously. It can have a certain effect, but you cannot listen to all of it. A high V on a certain treasure only costs 200, no. They must all be real old readers)

Ziliang said that writing a book cannot satisfy all readers. After all, it is not an encyclopedia.

Some of the author's fragments are actually based on master's and doctoral dissertations and university textbooks. I never thought that these would be criticized.

Some readers were online with me on QQ and went to Baidu Encyclopedia or CSDN to copy and paste. In fact, I could see it, but I didn’t say anything to save their face.

In August, an old man in the author group also posted a screenshot, saying that he was criticized for quoting the original words from the textbook. He thought it was funny, so he posted it for everyone to see.

This kind of thing is very common.

Just relax your mind.

mutual encouragement.

(9) About the system

(The protagonist is not a humanoid system)

All books under this pen name should be unsystematic.

When Nan Chao was a reader, he didn't like reading systematic texts, but nine out of ten books recommended by the APP were the same.

(Personal feeling, not private, please don’t comment if you don’t like it)

This is actually one of the reasons why I wrote the book.

It should be relatively niche in the future.

(10) About the new book

I started thinking about a new book in September, and I have many ideas.

Initially I wanted to write about the Age of Mechanical Mythology.

A collection of myths from various countries.

The gods are just mechanical bodies created by advanced creatures, adding a bit of wasteland style to the mythical era.

But after looking through most of the mechanical books on this software, I found that there were many of this type, but they were all off the market, indicating that there was no reader market, so I silently crossed out the idea (the author himself liked this very much, and will be available when he has time in the future) It should be written in a short article and updated from time to time).

Later, I wanted to write about an ancient oriental background with weird monsters, so I followed suit.

The earlier Weird World Cultivation, as well as the later Da Feng, Da Zhou, Weird Jigsaw, and Old Seal Script all tended to this type. Recently, this type of writing has become very popular, and many new books by old authors have touches of this style.

There are very few books in the suspense category, but there is a large market.

In fact, I have already planned to write new books in this direction...

But suddenly one day.

My brain twitched again.

Mainly because there are too many thoughts in my mind.

Nan Chao mentioned in the group that he often dreams about the beginning, and a lot of inspiration erupts every day, which can't be suppressed, from ancient times to the future, primitive to technology, wasteland to punk, weird to immortality...

Many personalities represent different ideas, and no one can convince anyone.

So my brain went crazy.

So I ended up in the hospital...

(joke)

So the new book is currently a mess.

If I drive out within a short period of time.

It means I just wrote it randomly...

Individuals in the Southern Dynasties were more willful.

(No matter how bad your grades are, they should not be worse than this book)

(should… )

(11) One final point

I forgot to mention the poor sales before I put it on the shelves.

I'm so miserable.

(End of chapter)
