In the corridor outside the conference room, there were nearly twenty young men in suits and ties lined up tightly. They have different skin colors and come from all over the world. They stood on both sides of the corridor like a group of well-trained soldiers, making way for several middle-aged men.

The leader was a middle-aged man wearing a handmade suit. He has brown hair and sharp eyes flashing with dazzling light from time to time. Even when he walks, he is vigorous and energetic.

He walked steadily towards the conference room, followed by four middle-aged men who were so low-key that the leading middle-aged man stole all the limelight. All of them had resolute and cold expressions on their faces, and their auras were restrained.

The middle-aged man walked to the door and opened the door. A smile like a spring breeze appeared on the originally plain face. He greeted the mysterious woman who was sitting leisurely drinking coffee in the conference room: "Miss Sophia, I kept you waiting." The middle-aged man entered the conference room with a smile and sat down opposite Sophia casually. The four middle-aged men following him also followed him calmly and stood in several places where they could observe all corners of the conference room. Be extremely cautious.

The mysterious woman, Miss Sophia in the middle-aged man's mouth, smiled indifferently, put down the coffee in her hand and looked at the man, and said, "Mr. Jones is busy with official duties, so it's a great honor for him to take the time to see me."

"Miss Sophia is serious." Jones smiled slightly and said calmly. "Without Miss Sophia's financial support, it would be difficult for Fox Hunt to achieve its current situation. Logically speaking, you are my boss."

"Oh," Sofia joked, raising her eyebrows. "In that case, why do you have to follow four bodyguards with you even when you meet with your boss? Is it possible that you are afraid that as the boss, I will plot to kill you?"

"How could it be," Jones said with a slight smile and shook his head. "Miss Sophia must know that we are currently in the Cold War with the US government. No one can guarantee whether the US government will launch an assassination operation against me. So it is better to be careful."

"It seems that Mr. Jones is afraid of death." Sophia pursed her lips.

"Who in this world is not afraid of death?" Jones smiled and shook his head, then asked again. "Miss Sophia, has the matter that I discussed with you half a year ago come to fruition now?"

"Yes." Sophia nodded and said calmly.

"Well, what do you think of Miss Sophia," Jones asked.

"I refuse." Sophia shook her head.

"Why?" Jones narrowed his eyes slightly, his expression obviously stagnant. "Miss Sophia disapproves of my plan,"

"I just don't want to invest more in fox hunting." Sophia said calmly. "In recent years, Fox Hunting has done less and less for our family. The funds have become bigger and bigger. From my point of view, I began to suspect that this is an unfair transaction. At least for me, It's unfair."

"But Miss Sophia, you should know that without the support of Fox Hunt, your family's underground business would not be so big and influential." Jones asked rhetorically. "What do you think,"

"For this, my father has already paid the price with his life." Sophia said lightly.

"I am extremely surprised by your father's surprise." Jones said firmly. "I promise you that I will find out the murderer as soon as possible. I will give you justice."

After hearing this, Sophia stared at Jones calmly and said word by word: "I wonder if Mr. Jones has heard of this sentence."

"What words," Jones asked rhetorically.

"A person who pretends to be asleep can never be woken up." Sophia said calmly.

"I don't understand what Miss Sophia means." Jones shook his head.

"In other words, the thief shouts to catch the thief," Sophia asked with an indifferent look. "Do you think you can catch the thief?"

Jones' expression paused, with complex colors flashing in his eyes. After a moment of silence, he asked slowly: "Miss Sophia, are you hinting at me?"

"Does Mr. Jones think I'm implying this," Sophia sneered.

"It sounds like you are telling me directly." Jones asked. "Miss Sophia, do you think I killed your father?"

Sophia said with a smile: "You don't have to act in front of me. I came here today just to tell you. From today on, I will not pay even a penny to Fox Hunter."

When Jones heard this, he suddenly became furious, struck the case and said: "Miss Sophia, I hope you think carefully before speaking."

Suddenly, several men in suits rushed in outside the door. There's Jones' side, and there's Sophia's side. Both sides looked at each other in a prepared manner, as if they were ready to open fire once they received the boss's order.

"Mr. Jones, do you usually rely on force to make people surrender?" Sophia sneered. "If that's the case, I feel more and more that I made the right decision."

Jones snorted coldly, glanced at the swarming bodyguards, and shouted: "Get out."

"Yes." All the bodyguards bowed their heads and went out, their expressions indescribable embarrassment.

"No one can come in without my order." Sofia glanced at the bodyguards around her and said with a relaxed expression.

"Yes. Miss."

Soon, only Sophia, Jones, and four middle-aged men stood motionless in the conference room again.

They were not wearing ordinary suits. Even his eyes and expressions are different from ordinary bodyguards. They are deep, mysterious, and filled with a chilling and gloomy atmosphere. It seems like a group of sluggish old people. But judging by their age, they were clearly middle-aged.

They are too quiet.

Too silent.

People can't help but want to look at them more.

After the bodyguards left the conference room, Jones stared at Sophia calmly and asked calmly: "Sofia, is this your personal decision or your family's decision?"

"Is there any difference?" Sofia asked calmly. "Now, I am the spokesperson of the family. My decision is the family's decision."

"So the Roland family is planning to withdraw," Jones asked with cold eyes.

"That's understandable." Sophia said calmly.

"Do you know what consequences this decision will bring to your Roland family?" Jones stood up slowly and asked with a stern expression.

"have no idea."

Sophia said lightly: "I only know what kind of difficulties you will face tonight."

"Oh, really," Jones scoffed. "Is Miss Sophia planning to retaliate against me before the US government does?"

"Why does it have to be me," Sophia said with a cold look in her eyes. "You think I'm the only one who wants to kill you,"

Whoosh.

As soon as Sophia finished speaking, a black shadow shot out of the window, like a bolt of lightning rushing towards her. In a flash of lightning, a sharp bayonet was pressed into Jones' heart.

The scene is frozen and silent.
