Bring A Magic Wand to The American Comics

Chapter 111: Remarks on the launch

I feel quite emotional. From the moment I started writing, I ended up writing about my thoughts on the book being put on the shelves.

According to convention, it is divided into the thanksgiving and ideas presentation stages.

First of all, of course, I would like to thank all the book friends for their support. It is your encouragement and support, including monthly tickets, recommendation tickets, rewards and comments, that have allowed me, a newbie, to persevere until now.

To be honest, writing a book is a test of patience. Sometimes when my thoughts are not flowing or the writing is poor, I will obviously feel unhappy, and then I will deny myself, deny my thoughts, and deny my writing style, which in turn affects the taste of every word in the update that day.

But fortunately, every time this happens, a few book friends will magically appear to encourage or praise me, which allows me to enter a more positive state and burst out with better inspiration.

Of course, relying on luck is not a good idea. Along the way, I have also been actively training myself, and gradually learned to keep calm. I can write positive words when my subjective emotions are not high, and find reasonable development when my ideas are stuck.

Secondly, I would like to thank all the book friends for their criticism and suggestions. Although many of them just left after saying a word, as a newbie, I did learn a lot from them. On this basis, I slowly tried to improve, and my writing skills seem to be stronger than before.

Finally, I would like to thank the editor Jiang Cha for putting this little book on the fourth round of recommendations despite the strong momentum at the same time, allowing it to be collected by 10,000 people and put on the shelves (well, it’s still 300 away). Although the result is not outstanding, it is a pleasant surprise for a newbie!

The following is the idea part.

In fact, the overall idea of this book is hidden in the title, the magic wand and American comics. The former represents the fun and magic of the Harry Potter world, and the latter represents the excitement and excitement of the Marvel world.

The original intention is good. What interesting things will happen when a magical and unreasonable magic is put into the Marvel world? And what kind of changes will it bring when superheroes have a partner with magical powers

There seems to be a lot to write about here.

But when I really combined them, I found that it was not easy, because the two are actually completely different styles.

The HP world follows a slow and leisurely puzzle-solving style, with clues that stretch for thousands of miles, while Marvel's story is fast-paced and exciting. The two are one fast and one slow. How to balance the ratio of the two while developing the plot reasonably and interestingly requires me to think more about it.

After talking about the ideas, let’s talk about the characters.

The character of the protagonist is more inclined to be easy-going but complaining. His values are not so sharp, but he has his own bottom line.

He is not a pushover, he just has his own moral bottom line.

The purpose of doing this is to prevent him from being overshadowed by other superheroes.

Like Spider-Man's unswerving sense of justice, Iron Man's almost conceited sense of responsibility, and some of the good qualities that Doctor Strange will slowly reveal in the future... Only if the protagonist also has a bit of human brilliance, he will not be lost in the crowd surrounded by these people.

When it comes to each character's personality, I have been trying my best to restore their tone and characteristics of speech, as well as their style of doing things, and then use this as a major factor in advancing the story.

As people often say, throw them into a sandbox and see what stories they will develop on their own.

Of course, this inevitably brings some bugs, such as Doctor Strange targeting the protagonist and Nick Blackmailing the protagonist.

At this time, I will face the real test, how to put myself in the role of the protagonist, solve the problem, and let the protagonist stand and profit from Mr. Huang's knife.

But I believe that this is a challenge and will also be exciting.

Finally, this little book will be on the shelves soon. After it is on the shelves, it will be updated quickly. It will start with eight chapters and strive for ten chapters (because I still have to go to work haha)! Please subscribe! Please subscribe!

No matter what the results are, just do good things and don’t worry about the future! Go!
