"Mr. Stark, the original item is returned to you."
On the top floor of Stark Tower, Lynn handed a USB flash drive to Pepper, who then passed it to Stark.
"Oh, how did you know this? I mean, I didn't even have time to..." Stark thought Lynn was going to hand him something.
"I have a friend who is a columnist for the New York Express, and he often collects some of the daily habits of superheroes." Lynn shrugged.
"Damn, these media really should be banned. Jarvis, can you help me check the current market value of the New York Express?" Stark was in a good mood after recovering the information about the Omnic Project.
"Sixty million dollars, sir, but the company's financial report is not very optimistic."
"OK, help me buy him. I want to see their senior executives come to my place for a meeting this afternoon." Stark said casually.
This left Lynn dumbfounded.
He didn't expect that a casual excuse would make his best friend lose his job.
"Hey, Mr. Stark, my friend is a big fan of yours. If he knew it was you who cancelled this program, he would turn around and support Captain America..." Lin En tried to save the situation.
"OK, Jarvis, let's move slowly and buy their stocks, making us the largest shareholder, and then suggest to their chairman to strengthen the review mechanism." Stark "followed the advice readily."
"Speaking of shares, Lin En, you have solved a big problem for the Intelligent Machinery sector this time. How can I thank you? Should I increase your share?"
"That's not necessary, Mr. Stark. We are not doing business." Lynn refused. If he had a few more shares, he would become a registered shareholder, and then he would inevitably become a thorn in the eyes of various forces.
He might as well earn a favor from Stark.
"Oh, by the way, Mr. Stark, this is the lucky magic you requested last time. It is the essence of luck exchanged for twenty-four gold bricks."
Lynn took out three exquisite vials from his lining pocket and placed them on the table, each of them filled with pulsating golden liquid.
"The Lucky Potion, also known as the Luck Potion, can bring good luck for 12 hours after taking it, but abuse can lead to mental and personality problems, so after each use, you have to wait at least a year before taking it again."
“It’s amazing…”
Stark picked up a bottle from the table and looked at it carefully.
"Can I drink now?" Stark suddenly asked this question.
"Oh, theoretically you can drink it at any time, but it's best to drink it when you need it..." Lin En was a little surprised.
However, he probably understood what Stark was thinking.
A person as confident as him will never attribute his success or failure to luck. His confidence is his luck.
Perhaps, he mistook Felix for a stimulant, a dopamine-like drink.
"Maybe I need it right now."
Stark unscrewed the vial and drank it.
"Wow, amazing." Stark blinked and a look of surprise appeared on his face.
Then, he seemed to have thought of something and became thoughtful.
Soon, Stark called up Jarvis's holographic panel and began to chant to himself while debugging various models with his hands.
As a person cursed by knowledge, Stark has long been trapped in a state of "the more he knows, the more confused he becomes". He often comes up with some brilliant ideas, but later encounters difficult problems, which makes him very distressed.
And now, he seems to have broken through some shackles.
"When a pair of entangled quanta are observed, they collapse at the same time. The result of the collapse will be instantly transmitted to the other quanta at an infinite distance. If a sufficient number of quanta are made into entangled quanta and a specific observation method is used to make them collapse according to a certain probability and form a probability cloud, then there is hope of breaking through the information black barrier generated by the armor flying at hypersonic speeds, so that Jarvis can gain stronger connection capabilities."
"When relying on nanomaterial technology to make armor, the inability to break through the law of conservation of mass and energy is a big problem. This means that the armor will never be able to overcome the last hurdle of miniaturization. But perhaps we can change our thinking and no longer be limited to finding high-density materials to reduce the volume. Instead, we can start from the perspective of element conversion and use air components to achieve the replenishment of nanomaterials at any time."
…
"Oh, damn, I'm starting to regret drinking it." Stark had never felt so inspired. He wrote down a lot of conjectures, his eyes widened, and then covered his mouth.
"There are two more bottles, Mr. Stark. You can come again this time next year."
"Oh, maybe I can't resist this temptation. Hey, magic boy, how about I buy three more bottles from you?" Stark came up with an idea with the inspiration of the Felixir.
"I'm sorry, sir, but it's really dangerous to abuse this thing." Lynn refused instinctively.
"Oh, we have to be flexible, don't we? I think Dr. Banner might need this too..."
It turned out that he wanted to buy it for his friend who was a tool.
…
After coming out of Stark Tower, Lynn returned home dragging his heavy backpack.
"Is it over?"
Clara was standing in the dome greenhouse in the corner of the living room, watching the dancing elves.
According to their agreement, Clara will be free once Lynn returns the USB drive to Stark.
"OK, Miss Clara, our friendship has withstood the test, and now I have no right to keep you."
"Haha, retain? It means release, right?" Clara said with a smile.
"Well, well, if you don't mind, I can ask you to stay with me for a few days?" Lin En started to say some irrelevant words.
"Oh, my intuition tells me that you are not sincere." Clara counterattacked.
"Your ability, or your intuition? From what I've heard, intuition isn't very reliable when it comes to this aspect."
"I didn't know you were so good at talking." Clara smiled but didn't take it seriously.
"Well, where are you going next? Paris again?" Lynn started to make small talk.
"Yes, Paris. It's far away from the country and the city, and the climate is good. It helps my mood," said Clara.
“Stop thinking about New York. Maybe after you change your mindset, you’ll see the world from a different perspective.”
Lin En said this, and he was quite reluctant to let go.
After all, Clara's abilities are really useful.
“No, I’ve tried to think about it this way, but my intuition tells me that New York is not a place to live for a long time.” Clara smiled, then looked at Lynn, as if she had something else to say.
"What did you foresee?"
Lynn realized that this might be Clara reminding him.
"New York, there's going to be big trouble."
