"Anpo is flying here."
Lynn shook her head, pulling herself out of Pierce's memory.
He waved his wand lightly and summoned the glass bottles left in the treatment room to his side.
"Any results?" Nick Fury spoke as soon as he saw Lynn speaking.
"There's good news and there's bad news. Which one do you want to hear first, Chief Fury?"
A stream of clear water gushed out from the tip of Lynn's wand, washing over the small bottles that once contained truth serum.
"I advise you not to--" Nick Fury was in no mood to joke with Lynn, and he was about to lose his temper.
However, when he saw what Lin En was doing, he suppressed his anger.
"Bad news first."
"The bad news is that the so-called upline was not found. He does not exist in Pierce's memory at all."
Lynn used a cleaning spell to clean the ampoule bottle, making it as clean as new, and looked at Nick Fury through its transparent bottle.
"So what's the good news? Is there really something wrong with your truth serum, and old Pierce is innocent?"
Nick Fury leaned forward slightly, and it seemed that he was looking forward to this result.
"No, Old Pierce is indeed an undercover agent of Hydra. The good news is that in his entire forty years at S.H.I.E.L.D., he seemingly never did anything detrimental to S.H.I.E.L.D."
Lynn flipped his fingers and held the ampoules between the fingers of his right hand.
"What do you mean?" Nick Fury felt like his brain was a little confused.
"Either he has turned over a new leaf, or he is hiding it too deeply. Anyway, I can't tell which one it is right now. Give me some time."
Lynn placed the wand against Pierce's temple, concentrated for a moment, gently pulled the wand, and soon pulled a silver thread out of Pierce's head.
A faint silver light flowed on the thread, and there seemed to be some light black-gray transparent clumps in it, which were pulled out from Pierce's temple like wool and wrapped around the wand.
This is Pierce's memory, now retrieved by Lynn.
“Shh—”
Lynn signaled Nick Fury not to disturb her and began to carefully seal the memories into ampoule bottles.
He then repeated this action several more times, eventually filling five vials with memory.
"What the hell is this?"
Nick Fury looked at this scene and for no reason thought of the appearance of the wire worm parasitizing the mantis.
"I need to back up Pierce's memory and see if I can find some clues from it."
After doing this, Lin En put the bottle into his pocket, clapped his hands and stood up.
"How is this supposed to be done? I mean, can I see these memories?"
Nick Fury stared at Lynn.
"Yes, but before that, some treatment measures must be taken. I need some instruments and equipment, and this requires funds."
"How many?"
Nick Fury's eyes widened again when he heard that he could also see old Pierce's memories.
"How many gold bricks?" Lin En made a rough estimate and decided to bid a higher price.
"Don't play tricks on me, kid!" Nick Fury was angry.
"An engine on your aerospace carrier costs more than this to burn for half a second, right?"
Lynn was amazed.
"I just don't want you to take advantage of SHIELD again!"
…
Half an hour later, the gunfire from SHIELD gradually subsided.
This means that all Hydra undercover agents have been cleared out, which is a major event in the history of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury no longer holds on to old Pierce and finally goes out to declare his victory.
When Lin En saw that he had nothing to do, he chatted with Spider-Man and the others and went home.
When he got home, he found that it was only two o'clock in the afternoon, which was just enough time for him to go to the Room of Requirement.
So Lynn didn't delay. After taking a few golden bricks from the attic, he put them in his bag and went to the 9th subway station.
Here comes the big business, my dear friend.
Lynn wrote a note to George Weiss on the other side of the cabinet.
Hey, long time no see, my friend. I have good news for you too.
As the owner of the Magic Trick Shop, George Weiss responded very quickly.
Deluminator, or time-turner? Lin En raised his eyebrows and his heartbeat quickened.
It's a time-turner. I thought it had all been destroyed, but I found it from a European wizard. However, it may take some patience to get it. What are you targeting this time
When Lin En heard the news, he was naturally overjoyed. That was something that contained the magic of time and could be used as a killer at a critical moment.
However, from what George Weiss said, it would be quite troublesome to get this thing, so he put away his extra thoughts and turned to today's goal.
What a pleasant surprise, my friend. I can take my time to wait. This time I came to ask you for two other things. One is the latest model of Firebolt, and the other is the Pensieve.
Oh, this request is a bit difficult. Pensieves are rare and usually private, because they contain too many memories of their owners, so they usually follow the wizard into the earth, which is really hard to find. George Weiss replied.
Aren’t there any imitations? Lynn asked.
This thing is difficult to imitate, involving very complex runes, containing powerful magic, and only the most powerful wizards can use it. George Weiss gave a negative answer.
I'd like you to ask for it, preferably as soon as possible, price is not an issue. Lin En thought about it and could only do this.
No problem. And, you want the latest Firebolt? I can get it for you right now. It's the Firebolt 13. Bulgaria won the World Cup last month with this broom.
That would be really great, I could buy one right now.
Lynn glanced at the utility room behind him and found a few good-looking Light Wheels lying in the corner. However, this thing is just like electronic products, new products are always the most attractive.
Soon, he saw a long package in the vanishing cabinet.
He couldn't wait to untie the kraft paper and decorative ribbons and took out a luxurious flying broom.
It has a streamlined design, made of fine wood and brushed with a thick layer of tung oil. Each broom strand is neatly cut, making it look very neat and compact.
Thank you, my friend, I wish you a happy life and I look forward to hearing more about the Pensieve next time.
Lynn put the gold into the disappearing cabinet with a smile on his face.
When George Weiss came to deliver the broom, he didn't say anything about payment for the goods.
He had apparently gained the friendship of George Weiss.
