"You can certainly question what I said, but the facts don't change, they're there, they're just covered up."
Finally, Stark ended his conversation with Loki and walked towards the conference room.
On the way, his mind kept replaying Loki's words.
He had been planning to treat everything Loki said as trash, but that one sentence alone pulled at his heartstrings.
"Hey, Tony." Just as he walked to the door of the conference room, Dr. Banner who came out bumped into him.
"Thinking while walking? That's not like you, Tony." Banner took off his glasses and wiped them.
"Maybe you knocked me down... Where are you going, Bruce?" Stark naturally would not admit it, and he naturally pushed the responsibility back.
"Go and have a look at Loki. The guy with the hammer and the SHIELD agent just now gave several possible guesses, some of which I am quite interested in. Let's see if I can prove them from the perspective of theoretical physics."
"Are you referring to Loki's plan to use the Cosmic Cube to build a teleportation channel? That would require a large amount of dependencies to maintain the stability of the channel, and a large amount of starting energy. This is indeed a very likely guess, but I don't suggest that you ask him." Stark shrugged and stopped Banner.
"Why?" Banner put on his glasses and asked stupidly.
"He is indeed a very cunning man, and his words are very inflammatory. You and that guy are better off not getting close to him."
"It sounds like that. Is that the reason why you were walking and thinking just now? Did what he said bother you? Oh, it's really scary to think about it." Dr. Banner opened his mouth wide.
"Hey, what are you talking about? Aren't we going to interrogate Loki about the Tesseract?" Thor in the conference room saw two people at the door and took the initiative to join in.
"Tony said your brother is a dangerous person, so I'd better not go over there." Banner smiled embarrassedly.
"Indeed, he was known for his cunning when he was in Asgard. His words were very inciting. He once used deception and words to lure the ruler of a terrifying country to the slaughterhouse he built. But I can guess that he must want to use the Cosmic Cube to teleport his helpers in the outside world this time. Otherwise, he would not be able to boast about conquering the earth."
Thor patted Hulk's shoulder hard and began to show Askid's enthusiasm.
Banner smiled awkwardly. He hadn't transformed into the Hulk yet, and was still a weak scientist who couldn't withstand such intensity and enthusiasm.
"I suggest we let Natasha ask. She is good at this kind of interrogation." Banner finally said.
A few minutes later, Black Widow arrived in front of the glass case where Loki was imprisoned as promised.
“It’s rare that someone can approach me quietly.”
Loki sensed someone behind him and slowly turned around.
"I think you are pretending to approach me secretly in order to get information from me?" Loki sneered.
This level of fraud was not even considered acceptable in his eyes.
"I just want to know what you did to Clint?"
Black Widow looked very anxious, she questioned Loki.
"I didn't do anything to him. I just asked him to be loyal to the right person. He can give full play to his talents here, and he has my recognition. I think this will make him happy."
Loki smiled and shook his head. He discovered another interesting thing.
When he controlled Hawkeye's mind before, he also shared a lot of information about S.H.I.E.L.D. He used this information to target different Avengers.
And Black Widow is obviously a special person in Hawkeye's memory.
The two are both teachers and friends, and they have a life-long friendship, and even some kind of spiritual comfort and guidance.
"You should be happy for him." Loki stared at Black Widow and said, "But you seem to be worried about him now, which means that in your heart, he must be an extraordinary person. It is hard to imagine that such an excellent agent like him would have such a side."
"Of course you don't understand. He is not only a top agent, he is also a living person. The things hidden deep in his heart are the key to making him Hawkeye. What you are doing to him now will eventually lead to his defeat." Black Widow folded her arms, looking a little helpless.
"Interesting. You are both killers who kill people indiscriminately and you are paid for your work, but you sympathize with each other." Loki smiled and shook his head, as if he had discovered something funny, and began to question Black Widow.
"He once helped me when I was confused and helpless. He pulled me out of the quagmire and made me no longer dominated by past memories. He taught me to accept the new environment, adapt to the new identity, and say goodbye to the past. He saved me." Black Widow fell into memories.
When Loki heard these words from Black Widow, he laughed. His laugh was very cold, and at the same time he began to torture Black Widow with these words.
"And you actually said you wanted to redeem each other? That's ridiculous. The sins you have committed are definitely more than one another, and these sins will not disappear with your repentance and forgetfulness, nor will they be redeemed. In fact, the best way to treat you is to let Hawkeye kill you personally, and then let him wake up and take a good look at what he has done. See if your so-called redemption still exists, and whether it will become an eternal sin."
Loki pressed forward, threatening Black Widow.
"You're a monster!"
Black Widow kept shaking her head as she listened to what Loki said. She seemed frightened by what Loki said.
However, Loki laughed even more wantonly.
"I'm not a monster. The real monster hasn't come out yet."
However, just after Loki finished saying this, he suddenly froze in place.
Because he saw the Black Widow stand up immediately, and her expression no longer contained the sadness of memories and the fear of being intimidated by herself, as if everything she had just done was just acting.
"So your target is Hulk."
Black Widow was indeed acting. Through the experiences of the few people just now, she discovered that Loki liked to seduce others, so she took the initiative to come to him and tried to turn the tables.
And in the end, as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best interrogation expert, she successfully pried something out of Loki's mouth.
It turns out that this guy wanted to provoke Banner, release the Hulk, use the opponent's terrifying ability to wreak havoc on the helicarrier, and achieve the purpose of weakening the Avengers.
She had to spread this information to everyone quickly, because she remembered that Banner had been studying the mysterious scepter, and all signs indicated that the thing seemed to have an impact on the people around it.
