Bring A Magic Wand to The American Comics

Chapter 3: God's sword is invisible

Views:

The subway tunnel is deep and narrow, just big enough for a train to pass through.

In other words, Lynn was doomed.

He subconsciously clenched his wand and looked around, but couldn't find any space for him to hide in.

The vibration of the rails became more and more intense, and even the roar of machinery began to be heard in the tunnel. All this meant that the train was getting closer and closer to Lin En.

If he doesn't find a way out, he will definitely be crushed into a pulp.

"Disapparate!" Lynn closed his eyes and shook his wand vigorously.

He tried the Apparition Charm again, but somehow it didn't work this time, so he had to run.

But as he was running, he suddenly thought of a problem - damn, he didn't know which direction the train would come from!

In the confined space, Lin En took a deep breath helplessly and stopped.

For now, it seems that the only solution is to find a few spells from "The Half-Blood Prince's Notebook" and learn them immediately.

Lynn pressed against the wall, raised the glowing wand and quickly flipped through the tattered book in his hand.

Polyjuice Potion, Luck Potion, Invisible Strike, Hanging Bell, Speedy Healing… After quickly browsing through them, Lin En wanted to curse.

He remembered that most of Professor Snape's spells were used to secretly compete with the four Animagus in Hogwarts, and could not be used to deal with a high-speed train.

"Bang!" Lynn hammered the wall of the corridor angrily.

This damn Room of Requirement, if he goes out he will definitely fill it with cow dung.

However, the next moment, Lin En's eyes lit up - the sound he heard when he pounded the wall just now was clearly an iron door behind him!

After searching for it everywhere, I finally found it without any effort!

Lynn turned around excitedly and kicked out, but then he felt a fractured feeling in his ankle.

This iron door is stronger than the surrounding concrete walls!

The roar of the train became louder and louder in the air, and Lin En broke out in a cold sweat.

But soon, he patted his head hard.

He now had a small wooden stick in his hand, but he was still thinking of banging his body against the door. This was simply out of line.

"Alaho hole open!"

Lin En aimed at the iron door that was integrated with the wall and carefully recited the spell to open the door.

Success or failure depends on this one move!

Lin En looked at the old wall anxiously, there was no movement on it yet.

But the sound of the train in the corridor was getting closer and closer, and the huge metal friction sound resounded back and forth through the narrow space, becoming sharp and terrifying.

Lin En even saw the vision in front of him gradually brighten.

It wasn't because the door-opening spell took effect, nor was it because the luminescent spell was enhanced, but because the light was reflected from the subway headlights!

Lin En held his breath. He could already imagine himself turning into meat paste in the next moment.

At this moment, "clang--"

The iron door embedded in the wall of the corridor loosened quietly, revealing a tiny gap.

Seeing this, Lin En happily pushed open the iron door and rushed in.

Just a few seconds after he stepped into the iron gate, the train came roaring, and when passing through the iron gate, a gust of air suddenly formed, almost sucking Lin En out again.

"call-"

Lynn stroked the wall and let out a long sigh.

Now that he has settled down temporarily, he can finally try the Apparition Charm slowly and return to his home in Green Gold Lane. How comfortable it would be to take a hot bath, make a cup of coffee, and sit on the carpet to study magic.

But when he tried to wave his wand, he unexpectedly found that his arm seemed to be stuck by something. The thing was strong, sticky, and very tough, with fine hairs on the surface, making it difficult to get rid of.

Lynn felt a chill on his back.

He carefully turned his head and raised his wand to check, and then he was stunned.

It's an unravelling spider web!

It had been firmly stuck to the iron door, and now it was tightly stuck to itself. Lin En suddenly understood why he couldn't open the iron door just now.

But how can there be a spider web that can stick to people

Lin En thought of someone almost instantly.

He had seen on TV that a superhero had recently appeared in Queens, fighting criminals everywhere. He was wearing a red and blue spider suit and wandering between high-rise buildings.

And who else can make this spider silk except Peter Parker

Lin En was excited. This was Spider-Man's trace! Maybe if he explored further, he would really see that talkative boy!

Thinking of this, Lin En bravely walked forward. Now that his life was safe, perhaps he could develop a spirit of adventure.

Behind the iron gate is a maintenance passage that looks dilapidated and is filled with dead rats and flying insects.

Lynn guessed that Peter Parker didn't go far, because he saw dust in the air under the faint fluorescence of the wand, which must be the trace left by the former.

Not long after walking, Lynn began to have troubles.

Two forks in the road appeared before my eyes. Both seemed very deep and winding, and I couldn't see the end for a moment.

Lynn looked carefully, trying to find footprints left by the little spider, but he soon discovered that something was wrong here.

There are traces of living things on both forks in the road.

Lin En had no choice but to close his eyes and quietly feel the flow of air. If he had to choose a path, he didn't want to choose a dead end.

Then Lynn took a step forward and turned left.

Just after a dozen minutes, he began to regret his choice.

As Lynn went deeper, he began to see more and more sticky liquids in the passage. They stuck to the walls around him and dripped slowly, which was very disgusting.

Finally, Lynn stopped in front of a pool of sticky liquid and refused to move forward.

“That’s enough…” Lin En really wanted to go home and take a hot bath.

But now he has no choice.

A faint "rustling" sound came from the passage, as if something was crawling rapidly along the wall. Considering the mucus all over the ground, Lynn was eerily reminded of the scene of a giant slug wriggling in the passage.

"Disapparate—" Lin En didn't want to stay long, so he tried the Disapparate spell for the third time.

It's a pity that he is still too unskilled.

A gust of fishy wind blew in Lin's face, making him feel extremely nauseous, and his spell was ruthlessly interrupted.

Immediately afterwards, a very thick dark red tentacle quickly crawled along the passage and appeared in front of him.

The tentacle was extremely strange, covered with rotten white blisters, constantly dripping mucus, and emitting a strong sour smell.

What is this!

Lin En was horrified and kept backing away, hoping to get away from it.

However, the tentacle had no intention of letting him go. After shaking its tip, it locked onto Lynn and twisted at an exaggerated angle, as if trying to wrap him around him.

"God's sword has no shadow!"

Seeing that escape was useless, Lynn gritted his teeth, raised his wand and chanted a spell at the tentacles.

Just now, while walking in the corridor, he tried to learn a few spells at the last minute, but he was not sure how effective they would be in actual combat.

Fortunately, this time the spell worked. As Lin En shook his wand, the tentacle stiffened, and then it was as if it had been chopped by countless blades. Several deep scars appeared, and fluid splattered everywhere. It fell limply to the ground and shrank back.

Lin En was delighted to see this. The Half-Blood Prince's notes really did not disappoint. This trick of cutting Korean sausages into flower shapes was really easy to use!

But then, he saw the tentacle suddenly stop and start to wriggle towards him desperately.

I'm afraid this thing will hurt

Lynn frowned and raised his wand again, trying to score a second goal.

But at this moment, a voice sounded from the far end of the passage, which surprised him:

"Hey, man, is this slug baby your pet? It seems a little bit disobedient, how about I help you teach it a lesson?"

"Or do you want to teach your disobedient master a lesson as well?"
