"Excuse me, lend a hand."

In the middle of the road, next to the opened manhole cover, a black head popped out.

Lynn never thought that he would crawl out of here one day, and he never thought that the person who went into the sewer with him would be Spider-Man.

The two of them had just reached a consensus that Lin En was a good citizen for the time being, but the specific situation needed further observation.

"Hey, buddy, I gave you my trust once, so don't let me down."

Peter Parker pulled Lynn to the ground with mixed emotions.

"At least next time you go to the sewer, you won't see me there." Lynn patted the dirt off his body and took a deep breath of fresh air.

"It would be best."

Peter Parker swung onto the lamppost, squatted there and looked back at Lynn, as if joking, but also as if warning.

"Don't worry, the great hero of New York City." Lynn raised her fingers and pointed at her forehead, saluting Peter Parker.

"see you."

The spider silk flew, and the little insect moved up, swinging above the traffic during the rush hour, and soon disappeared from Lynn's sight.

However, Lin En didn't really think that he had really run far away. This guy must be stopped in some hidden place, staring at him quietly, trying to follow him.

So Lynn looked around, trying to get rid of this guy who didn't respect other people's privacy.

He saw a Chinese restaurant whose lights had just been turned on and walked in slowly.

"Hello, can I use the restroom?"

"It's on the left side of the aisle." The clerk looked at Lin En, who was wearing cartoon home clothes, and was a little surprised.

"Thanks."

“Bang—”

After entering the bathroom, Lynn flushed the toilet, and when the water started to flow, he took out his wand from his pocket, held his breath, and tried to chant a spell under the cover of the noise.

"Shifting..."

"Shapeshift~"

"Displacement!"

Lin En was very depressed. He suddenly realized that luck was the main reason why he was able to successfully perform the Apparition Spell before.

This spell seems to be somewhat difficult.

It looks like the plan to use it to get rid of Peter Parker is going to fail.

Lynn got up reluctantly.

But at this moment, he suddenly heard a crisp sound coming from the compartment next to him.

"Kach—"

Suddenly, Lynn's nerves tensed.

The sound was very familiar, he had just heard it this afternoon... It was exactly the same as the sound of the street thug Green El loading his pistol!

Lynn gripped her wand tightly and pointed it carefully in the direction of the compartment.

I can't be so unlucky that I encounter two shootings in one day? Is this New York or Gotham

However, Lin En soon discovered that he was indeed unlucky today.

"Squeak--" The door of the compartment was in disrepair and made a loud noise when it was opened.

"Damn!" A low curse was heard, as if the speaker was dissatisfied with the sound of the wooden door.

Within a few seconds, Lynn heard many screams coming from the lobby.

"fxxk! Shut up! Hand over your money, all of it!" The criminals seemed to have held the cashier hostage, and the scene was very chaotic.

"If anyone dares to call the police, I will immediately put a hole in his forehead!"

For a moment, the lobby was silent.

Lynn quietly pushed open the compartment door and walked quietly to the corner of the corridor. With the reflection of the vase at the corner, he vaguely saw the situation in the front hall.

The red-haired gangster held guns in both hands, holding the cashier hostage and pointing them at the customers in the lobby.

What surprised Lin En was that the scene was not as chaotic as he had imagined. The criminals, hostages and customers were actually maintaining a strange harmony and order.

Some people are responsible for grabbing money, some are responsible for trembling, and some are responsible for watching.

This made Lin En wonder whether he should go up or not for a moment - the people here seemed to be accustomed to robbery. If he acted rashly, would it destroy this balance and cause unnecessary casualties

Lynn hesitated.

But at this moment, something unexpected happened. An electronic dial tone suddenly appeared, breaking the silence.

"Nine one one, please tell me..."

It was unknown which brave warrior in the crowd called the police, but in his nervousness he accidentally touched the speaker button, causing the sound of electronic wiring to echo throughout the lobby.

The criminals' angry curses and the customers' gasps were heard at the same time.

"Damn girl! I warned you!" The red-haired gangster was furious, swinging his pistol through the crowd and finally locking onto a girl.

Lin En had seen this girl before. She was the clerk he had just questioned.

From Lin En's perspective, he could just see her hiding in the corner, shivering with her cell phone in her hand. Her face was full of fear, the corners of her mouth were trembling, and she looked around helplessly.

But people around her seemed to blame her for her impulsiveness.

"How dare you!"

The red-haired gangster's eyes turned fierce and he almost pulled the trigger.

The girl looked at the black muzzle of the gun, her lips turned pale, her eyes were unfocused, and she muttered unconsciously, "It's not me, it's not me..."

Seeing this, Lin En couldn't hold back any longer.

He immediately drew out his wand, quietly reached out from the corner, and chanted a spell in a low voice and with concentration.

"Everyone is petrified!"

However, to his disappointment, the spell did not work.

Lin En became nervous. In the current situation, only this spell could stop the red-haired man in the safest way. However, he was very unsure because he had only roughly looked over the steps of casting the spell before and it was difficult to guarantee that there would be no mistakes.

But the red-haired man's fingers were already tightening, and he might pull the trigger at the next moment!

By then, the girl who looks silly but brave will have a different face!

"Everyone is petrified!"

Lynn didn't care about that anymore. After quickly going over the steps in his mind, he simply shook his wand and shouted the spell in one breath.

This time, the effect was significant.

A khaki fluorescent light shot out from the tip of the staff and hit the red-haired gangster accurately. The gangster had no chance to react at all and fell to the ground stiffly like a stone withering.

"Bang!"

The dull sound of someone falling to the ground sounded like a gunshot, which frightened everyone.

It was a while before they realized the truth and were surprised to find that they seemed to have been saved all of a sudden.

What happened? Who defeated the gangster

They vaguely recalled that a boy's voice suddenly appeared just now, but when they turned around to search, they found no trace.

Only the girl who kept crying seemed to remember something and looked towards the bathroom tremblingly.

"ever!"

The Disapparation spell that Lynn used this time was very successful. After his limbs were ravaged and his stomach was churning, he successfully returned to his living room.

Fireplace, carpet, sofa, slightly yellow light. After half a day of fatigue, Lin En saw this scene and unexpectedly felt that it had a bit of homely feeling.

He lay down comfortably on the sofa, ready to rest for a while, take a shower, and say goodbye to slime worms, gangsters, shooting eucalyptus and so on.

But he soon realized that something was wrong.

Um

Why is the light on in the room

It was clearly afternoon when he left, and the room was well lit. He didn't even turn on the lights!

Maybe someone broke into the house!

Lynn held her breath and gripped her wand tightly.

Who could it be
