"Hulk! Be good!"
"Hey, don't step on the car, you big guy!"
Stark finally arrived in New York and felt a little overwhelmed when he saw Hulk destroying things crazily below.
He didn't expect the mutants' attack to be on such a scale that it actually forced Banner to release the Hulk.
This made him start to worry about the situation in the laboratory.
"JARVIS, scan the lab floor!" He flew around the Sith Building.
"No biological signs were found in the lab, and no intruders were found in the building."
"Wow, it seems that Hulk made the right choice, good job man..."
Stark was relieved by the news, so when he saw the big guy below who was smashing the mutants, he thought he looked handsome.
But then a red light suddenly flashed on the mask, and then Jarvis popped up an emergency message:
"The situation is not good, sir. A high-frequency signal has been detected at the scene. The source of the signal is nanocrystals. It has been maintained at the extreme frequency. There is a high probability of explosion."
"Damn it... Jarvis, what's the reason? How wide is the range of the explosion?" Stark stopped suddenly and subconsciously began to scan the innocent people nearby.
"The reason is that the nanocrystals are suspected to be resonating. If an explosion occurs, it may immediately affect three blocks, and then enter the air and groundwater, causing secondary pollution on a larger scale. We need to deploy high-power shielding devices, sir."
"Can you scan the source of the resonance?" Stark frowned and rushed upwards at high speed, increasing the scanning power in an area with a wide field of vision.
This information is extremely important.
"The target signal is weak, with only a response in the southwest direction close to the error accuracy, making it difficult to detect the specific location."
"This doesn't make sense, Jarvis, are you sure there is no interference?" Stark keenly noticed that something was wrong. The signal strength at this distance could not cause resonance.
"No jamming signal received, sir."
"Damn, where's the nearest high-power jammer?"
"At SHIELD headquarters, sir."
"Well, well... it's really a mess, isn't it?" Stark sniffed under the mask, very dissatisfied with the answer.
He didn't want SHIELD to get involved in this matter. The experiment was almost coming to an end, and he would soon make a revolutionary discovery. It would not be a good thing to be targeted by SHIELD at this juncture.
"Based on recent call records, it seems you are hiding from SHIELD, sir, but I must remind you that the crystal has been oscillating at a high frequency, and a high-powered jammer is necessary."
"OK, I might have to delete the word 'hiding' from your base vocabulary. I hope you don't mind, Jarvis."
Stark was multitasking, shuttling between the streets and tall buildings. Seeing that the mutants below had been almost cleared out, he came to Hulk and tried to attract his attention to end the battle and avoid causing unnecessary harm.
"Time to call it a day, man!"
At this time, Jarvis also provided intimate tips as soon as possible:
"If you want to deal with Mr. Hulk, you may need Ms. Natasha's help."
"Damn, are you already dialing SHIELD?" Stark argued with Jarvis while trying to attract Hulk's attention.
"If you need it, sir."
"Why haven't you called Strange yet?"
"Sir Strange may be busy with other things. Based on the analysis of his recent behavior, the probability of him preparing for a date is 60%."
"Thank goodness you reminded me, otherwise I would have thought he was an antique who had lived for thousands of years." Stark's taunting skill was always online.
"So do I need to contact SHIELD for you?"
"… "
Stark was stumped by this question. He really wanted to bet that the crystal would not explode, but after seeing the citizens fleeing in the distance, he could not think about the bet.
Finally, he relented.
"Damn, tell them not to make too much noise, just send out the jammers and Natasha."
"Maybe Hulk also needs a date where no one bothers him."
After saying that, Stark dived into the sky and increased the scanning power in the direction of Brooklyn. Now that he had lured Hulk out, if SHIELD acted fast enough, he would still have time to find the guy who messed up everything.
…
On a vacant lot in Brooklyn.
The two people felt relieved after completing the mission. Not only did they get the information this time, they also solved the mutant Jack, finally resolving the biggest worry that had been bothering them for the past month.
"Hey, I remember you turned Bruce into the Hulk before!" Spider-Man slapped his head and suddenly remembered something.
"There's no other way. The mutants brought by Mutant Jack this time are some tough guys. I think everyone will need Hulk." Lynn said.
"Oh, no, if you had seen him angry in person, you would never do that..."
"Relax, Iron Man has arrived, he should be able to handle it." Lynn didn't think there was anything wrong. Banner had always been worried that he would be disliked by humans, so he had always been resistant to the idea of transforming.
But this is actually an unsolvable problem. He has to go through all of this before he can finally be accepted.
"If Mr. Stark knew about this, he would definitely kill me!" Spider-Man's voice sounded a little timid.
"Huh? Why don't you continue to suspect Stark?" Lynn heard a hint of amusement in it.
"The problem lies in the resonance of the crystal..." Spider-Man stretched out his hand to block the glaring sunlight. "Oh, when I saw that the mutant Jack was the source of the resonance, I knew there must be something more complicated behind this research."
"What do you mean?"
"The conditions for making the crystal resonate are very harsh. That mutant Jack must be carrying some kind of crystal material that has been artificially stimulated to a fixed oscillation frequency." Spider-Man sat up, holding his chin and analyzing carefully.
And Lin En listened and thought:
"This means that there is a high probability that another group of people also possesses the crystal and has already studied it. The Sith Industries is not the root of the problem."
He was busy dealing with the mutant Jack just now and didn't really care about this issue. Now he thinks that this is indeed the case.
"Hey brother, it's very likely that they are the same group of people who found Mutant Jack. Everything makes sense!" Spider-Man suddenly pumped his fist and became excited, as if he had discovered a new world.
Seeing this, Lynn sighed, thinking that Spidey must have come up with a new plan of action.
"Fuck, this is the vacation I've been looking forward to..."
"Wake up, buddy, this is a new criminal!" Spider-Man was eager to try.
"I suggest you..." Lin En turned around unhappily, but was choked by a sudden scene the next second.
"Or what?" Spider-Man looked at Lynn, quietly waiting for him to say the next half of his sentence.
But after a few seconds, he suddenly realized something and screamed.
"Whaaa... aat?"
