Mountains, medicine, fate, divination, and appearance, regardless of whether they are walking the right way or the evil way, are collectively called practitioners. Since you said that When it comes to the'five drawbacks and three deficiencies', then we will take the'five drawbacks and three deficiencies' as an example. The'five drawbacks and three deficiencies' can be said to be punishments for practitioners, or it can be said to be tempering practitioners. After the "five malpractices and three deficiencies" is trial, if you can't get through it and get stuck in it, it is punishment.
In orthodox Taoism and Buddhism, a practitioner is to cultivate virtue and achieve morality. Therefore, the spells, Taoism, and the art of exorcising evil spirits, which are talked about and incomparably favored by people, are just derivatives in the process of practice. People who truly practice do not use their own magic to make a living, even if they only change a sip of water, they will think that they have broken the precept.

In short, this path of practice is not easy to follow. A little carelessness will lead to a dead end. Even if you don't repay in this life, you will have retribution after death or in the next life. So Xuanmen is as deep as the sea, so you need to be cautious about getting started. "
