Chapter 1013: scar

Views:

Harry suddenly opened his eyes and put his hand over the scar on his forehead that was stinging with pain. His face showed fatigue and sleepiness after the nightmare.

He dreamed of that long, dark corridor again!

During the summer vacation, Harry began to have similar nightmares. Every time it was the same corridor, and sometimes the dream was longer and he could see a locked door at the end of the corridor.

These damn dreams made him uneasy. Harry didn't know what they meant, but he knew that having similar dreams all the time was definitely not a good thing.

Harry knew very well that if he dreamed about it once or twice, it might be an accident, but if it happened too many times, it definitely couldn't be an accident.

He had talked about this with Sirius and asked Albert after school started.

Albert told him that this dream might be related to Voldemort's power becoming strong again. The other party gave him four suggestions: stay calm at all times; find someone to learn brain occlusion; take a dreamless sleeping potion before going to bed; and ask Dumbledore for help if there is anything.

Harry thought Albert might have guessed something, but he said nothing and only gave him a few suggestions.

Harry used a two-way mirror to seek help from Sirius, but Sirius was sometimes very busy, so Harry often confided in his good friends.

Ron always looked worried, but didn't know what to do. Hermione suggested that Harry go to Professor Dumbledore for help, but Harry hadn't seen Professor Dumbledore recently and couldn't even enter the headmaster's office.

Therefore, most of the time, Harry can only take a small amount of tranquilizer to control his emotions and try not to be affected by his emotions. This is also the only thing he can do at present.

The stinging pain from the scar on his forehead made Harry get up from the bed. He reached under his pillow, took out a small medicine bottle, and poured out a few painkillers.

This bottle of medicine was given to him by Sirius after he told Sirius about his nightmare. It can relieve the pain of the scar. He guessed that it was another thing made by Anderson.

Harry poured himself a glass of water and took a big sip to relieve the dryness in his throat. When he was about to go back to rest, he noticed that Seamus was staring at him.

Harry ignored the other's gaze and lay back down on the bed to rest.

Ever since the unpleasant argument between the two sides on the first night of school, Harry had been too lazy to pay attention to the other party.

He is just a fool who deceives himself. Harry can't help such a guy. He can only wait for him to face the reality.

After taking the medicine, the stinging pain from the lightning scar on his forehead was much relieved. Harry closed his eyes drowsily and prepared to take a nap. He was going to Hogsmeade today, so it didn't matter if he slept late.

Harry got up late and was still a little tired when he went downstairs for breakfast. He put the food into his mouth slowly and chatted casually with Ron who was reading a newspaper beside him. At this time, Hermione brought them good news.

Fred and George have found a place that is private enough to serve as the DA's activity room.

This was undoubtedly good news, as Harry had previously doubted that they would never find such a place.

The DA activity ended completely before it even began.

After they passed Filch's inspection and were on their way to Hogsmeade, Harry asked, "Have you been to the activity room that Fred and George mentioned?"

"I haven't been there. Fred and George asked me to confirm the time of the party before they told me the exact location of the activity room." Hermione lowered her voice and said, "I suspect that is their secret base."

"Those two have a lot of secrets," Ron muttered.

"I think they were infected by Albert. How did he say that..." Harry scratched his hair, but couldn't remember it for a moment, so he changed the subject and said, "However, his Self-Defense Guide is really good, but there are some things in it that are hard to understand without someone to teach you, such as the spell-casting technique. Hermione, can you understand that?"

"What method?" Ron asked puzzled.

"It teaches people how to duel with others." Hermione explained, "I think the content of the book is difficult. We haven't learned many things. Albert seems to particularly advocate the use of silent spells to fight, but I think there are few people in the whole school who are good at that."

"What are you talking about?" Ron was confused. He had never read the contents of the "Self-Defense Guide".

"The Self-Defense Guide also teaches people how to duel," Harry explained to Ron, "although it mostly advises people not to confront dark wizards head-on."

"However, the book gives many examples." Hermione continued, "For example, if a person encounters several wizards with bad intentions in the forest, what should he do? If he encounters a werewolf, how should he save himself? What should he do if he encounters a giant? What should he do if he encounters a Dementor? What should he do if he is attacked by a werewolf that has not transformed?"

"Sounds very practical." Ron also found it very interesting. He decided to borrow the book from Hermione after Harry finished reading it.

"In the forest, you can use spells like flying sand and rocks to create trouble for the enemy, and use Apparition to escape when the enemy's vision is obscured, or use Disillusionment Charm to escape. You can also cast spells on plants to make them sneak attack the enemy, but I think this requires a high level of attainment in Transfiguration." Hermione felt that if the "Self-Defense Guide" was used as the basic textbook for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, only a few people would be able to barely pass it after graduation.

It is not difficult to imagine how bad Hogwarts' Defense Against the Dark Arts is.

"I think that after I have thoroughly learned the contents of the Self-Defense Guide, I will probably be able to reach the level of a trainee Auror." Although Harry did not know what the quality of a trainee Auror was like, he heard from Sirius that the level of the Aurors in the Ministry of Magic was average. Although they might be good at many things, most of them were actually useless. Instead, their level of catching dark wizards was very poor.

Sirius has more say in this than anyone else.

He had just escaped from Azkaban and treated those Aurors like fools and ran away.

Others walk their dogs, but he walks his dog.

"I dare say Toad would go crazy if he saw the contents of the Self-Defense Guide!" Hermione said gloatingly. She also knew that Albert and the others were just treating Toad as a fool and making fun of him.

Who borrowed the Self-Defense Guide

Of course, it was just a circle.

"It's a pity that we have never had a great Defense Against the Dark Arts professor to teach us this useful knowledge." Hermione felt sorry that Albert could not teach them.

Compared to Hermione's feelings, after reading the "Self-Defense Guide", Harry only felt that it was incredible that he could survive from Voldemort's hands. Harry suddenly understood why Albert always said that he was a very lucky man.
