Chapter 1023: It's time to take medicine

As soon as Fred got out of bed, he couldn't help shivering and quickly picked up his clothes to put on himself. When he glanced at the dormitory inadvertently, he saw that there was already an empty bed.

"Albert didn't come back yesterday again?" Fred muttered as he put on his robe. "I don't think he wants to stay in school anymore."

"If you're jealous, just go get her." George, who had put on his clothes, opened the window to let the wind in and disperse the stuffy air in the room. "After we graduate from school and separate, it will be much harder to get her."

"Damn it, it's cold, and I'm not even up yet, can't you just close the damn window?"

Lee Jordan was about to get up from the bed when he was blown by the cold wind. He couldn't help shivering and crawled back into the quilt.

The temperature in the castle has dropped so much since November. Even though today is a rare good day, it is still terribly cold outside, and the trees are covered with a thick layer of white frost.

"Sorry, sorry, I thought you would be up later." George closed the window, picked up the wand on the table and tapped the kettle on the table. After boiling the water in it, he poured a cup of hot water for Lee Jordan.

"What about you?" Fred turned around and asked, "Do you have a girl you like?"

"No, it's going smoothly!" George shrugged, not really caring. After noticing that Fred was staring at him suspiciously, he quickly changed the subject, "I just hope today's Quidditch game can be over as soon as possible. I'm a little worried that Ron won't be able to bear the pressure."

"Don't worry, as long as Harry uses that thing, I think the game should be over soon. You should worry about whether Harry is willing to use it." Lee Jordan was not ashamed of their cheating to win. He believed that if Slytherin could get such a good thing, he would definitely not be stingy. Pursuing victory by any means has always been Slytherin's patent.

"It doesn't matter, just don't let Harry know."

George had already thought of a solution. He poured himself a cup of hot water, raised the cup to Lee Jordan with a smile and said, "When the time comes, I will prepare pumpkin juice for them to win. They just need to drink it before the game."

As he spoke, he clinked his cup lightly against Lee Jordan's.

After a simple wash, the three of them came to the Gryffindor common room and were warmly welcomed by the students. Everyone was eager for the Gryffindor team to defeat the Slytherin team and humiliate those annoying Slytherin students as winners.

It's because Slytherin students have done so many hateful things recently.

As they left the common room and walked through the secret passage to the hall, Fred suddenly said, "What do you think will happen if we lose?"

"They will probably be very disappointed!" George glanced at Fred and said confidently, "We have never lost to the Slytherin team and we will never lose. Do you think we will lose?"

"I always feel like the Slytherin team might be up to something. They always like to do something off the field." Fred raised his eyebrows, "Not to mention that there's a toad here."

"You mean Albert's prophecy?" Lee Jordan asked.

"You suspect that Harry was banned recently." George understood.

"If Toad wants to cause trouble, find an opportunity to knock her down." Fred said without hesitation.

This is an effective way to deal with toads that they learned from Albert. It is best not to expect to reason with them.

As long as people are sent to the hospital, many problems can be solved at the source.

"Someone found out," George warned.

The atmosphere in the auditorium became more heated, and the smell of gunpowder was stronger.

Students from Gryffindor and Slytherin, all wearing their house's iconic scarves, gathered in groups of three or four to discuss the upcoming match.

Senior students who opened the betting market walked back and forth between the colleges, trying to persuade more students to place bets. Gryffindor and Slytherin were both their potential customers. Even students who didn't like gambling would symbolically bet a few Knuts on their own college to win.

When the three of them passed by the Slytherin table, several Slytherin students gave them malicious smiles and even stretched out their feet to try to trip them, which was full of provocation.

"The last dying struggle."

Fred looked at the man's feet with an extremely strange expression. The three of them quickly exchanged glances and raised their feet together, ready to send the idiot to the school hospital.

The outstretched leg was retracted in fear.

"If only all Slytherins were such fools." Fred sneered in a voice that everyone around could hear. "Stop glaring at Montague, your eyes are about to fall out of their sockets."

"Wow, look what I found?" George's eyes fell on the crown-shaped silver badge on the chests of other Slytherin students, and he whispered the words on it: "Weasley is our king. I am really flattered."

"Honestly, I prefer this." Fred smiled and took out his wand from his pocket, waving it at the silver badge on the chest of the boy next to Montague, and "Weasley is our king" turned into "Weasley is our father."

"See, that's much better." Fred put away his wand and nodded with satisfaction.

“Although it is frustrating to have a bunch of good-for-nothing sons, we will do our best to educate you so that you don’t go astray.” The twins looked at each other and said in unison.

The Gryffindor students next door couldn't help laughing. They were happy to see the Slytherin students collectively suffer a setback.

Without giving the angry Slytherin students time to react, the three of them walked away happily.

Montaigne angrily threw the badge at the Weasley brothers, but it was caught by Fred.

"I'm your dad." Fred smiled and put the badge back in his pocket.

"What do you think they mean?" George didn't think it was anything good. At least, anything Slytherin came up with was definitely not good.

"Who knows?" Fred shrugged.

"I know who made this." Lee Jordan motioned for the two to look somewhere where Draco Malfoy was humming a tune and distributing badges to Slytherin students.

"Weasley was born in a dustbin..."

"I knew it was nothing good."

If Albert were here, he would probably be able to turn all the Slytherin badges into the shape of his hand, which would definitely be very interesting.

Unfortunately, Fred's level of transformation is not enough to achieve this.

"Did you have that thing?" Fred muttered.

"Better not let Ron hear this," George muttered, and he quietly took a small ball out of his pocket and let it slide to the ground and roll towards Malfoy's feet.

"Not only does your brother lack experience and confidence, his psychological quality is also very poor." Lee Jordan glanced at Ron, who was pale and dull-eyed not far away, and shook his head. He was really useless. When he first became a commentator, his mentality was much stronger than Ron's.

Black smoke suddenly exploded near the Slytherin table, causing a commotion.

Malfoy, who was originally talking excitedly, now covered his mouth and coughed repeatedly. His whole body was covered with a layer of black, and the two people around him were also unlucky.

There was a brief silence in the hall, and then loud laughter broke out.

The three of them looked at the three people who left in a rage, exchanged glances with each other, and smiled happily.

"Good morning Harry."

Fred sat down next to Harry and greeted him with a smile, "What's wrong Ron?"

"He's just a little nervous," said Harry helplessly.

"I can't play ball at all," said Ron dully.

"It's embarrassing for us."

"Your mental state is poor." George picked up the bread and said, "Maybe you should experience more experience. I suggest you get up at night and play hide-and-seek with Filch."

"Or, you should go to the Forbidden Forest and play with those giant spiders. You can better train your psychological qualities there." Fred took the orange jam and began to spread it on the bread.

"Can't you guys talk less?" Ginny glared at Fred, George and Lee Jordan in dissatisfaction.

"They're just making excuses for breaking the school rules." Hermione glared at Fred and George in dissatisfaction.

"He looks like he's completely out of practice," Lee Jordan interrupted, "He should have a strong mentality and thick skin like us."

"You're the only one who's thick-skinned." Fred looked like he wanted to draw a line between himself and Lee Jordan.

"Ginny, how was the tryout?" George quickly changed the subject.

"It's okay. I plan to sign up next year. After Angelina and Arya graduate, the position of Chaser will be vacant." Ginny is very confident in her skills.

"That's good." George took out a bottle of pumpkin juice from his pocket and said to Harry with a smile, "This is a good thing I got from Albert."

"A bottle of pumpkin juice?" Hermione asked with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"Pumpkin juice that can bring us victory," Fred added.

"Could there be something added to it?" Hermione asked suspiciously.

"That's not allowed, Hermione." George turned his head to Harry and said, "I remember you have some tranquilizers, give some to Ron to calm him down. He can't play in the game like this."

"I almost forgot about this." Harry took out the tranquilizer he carried with him from his pocket and poured out two tranquilizers.

Normally, one pill is enough, but considering Ron's situation, two pills might be safer.

Hermione was speechless. She found that Harry seemed to be addicted to tranquilizers recently. She often saw him taking out the medicine bottle and taking a pill.

"Come on, Ron, take the sedative and you won't be nervous anymore." Harry handed the pill to Ron.

"Take this stuff with you." Lee Jordan took out two medicine bottles from his pocket, poured out a pill and handed it to Ron.

"What's this?"

"Vitality tonic." George motioned for Lee Jordan to give Harry one as well. "We figured Ron's poor mental state would make him so nervous that he wouldn't even be able to eat, so we prepared this good stuff for him."

"Will this break the rules?" Hermione asked curiously. She found that Albert had made a lot of these candies with strange effects.

"Of course not, and we don't eat during the game," George reminded.

"Come on Ron, eat this."

Ron stared blankly at the pills Harry handed him, hesitated for a moment, then stuffed them into his mouth and swallowed them.

The effect of the medicine was quite significant. His originally pale complexion looked better, but he still looked a little dull.

"Feeling better?"

Harry looked at his medicine and then at Ron's reaction. In the past, he could calm down quickly after taking one pill, but after Ron took two pills, the effect didn't seem to be very good. He suspected that the tranquilizer Ron took was a fake.

"Better," Ron muttered.

"When everyone is ready," Angelina looked at the Slytherin table with disgust and said to Harry and the others, "we'd better go directly to the stadium and not fall into someone's conspiracy."

"We'll be there in a minute," Harry followed Angelina's gaze and nodded, "Ron needs to have some breakfast, he has a physical competition later."

"I'm just a piece of crap."

"Don't worry, Albert is the best at recycling waste." George looked at Ron and said to Harry, "Give him a few more tranquilizers and some more vitality tonics. He probably won't be able to eat anything else in the morning."

"Is everything really okay?" Hermione was a little worried about Ron's condition.

"That's definitely fine."

Slytherin House obviously had no intention of giving the other party a chance to escape, and had already begun humming the song "Weasley is Our King". Ron, who had just regained some color, became even paler.

"Ignore them," Angelina shouted. "Defeat them, slap them in the face with the facts, and shut them up completely."

"Then let's go eat over there. Come on, there's no need to bother with them. They're all a bunch of defeated men." Harry picked up a few pieces of bread from the table and stuffed them into his pocket. He also got a glass of juice and pulled Ron outside. He was going to give Ron a few more tranquilizers later.

Fred and George were right, Ron's mental quality was indeed a bit poor.

Looking at the backs of the people leaving, Hermione said with disgust, "You are so disgusting."

Hermione walked away annoyed.

She knew that Ron was not that bad. As long as he could overcome his stage fright, he would definitely be able to fulfill his responsibilities as a goalkeeper.

"Don't use those shabby tricks. Let's make a bet." George looked at the Slytherin team members and said with a smile, "Twenty Galleons, bet your own house team to win the game. I don't think anyone thinks their house team will lose."

"That's a really great idea. If you win, you can use the other party's Galleons to hold a celebration party. I think there's nothing more enjoyable than this." Fred agreed. "How about it? Do you want to gamble? Or are you afraid?"

"How can we be sure that you won't go back on your word?"

Meng Tai narrowed his eyes. He smelled a strong scent of conspiracy. Anything proposed by the other party was bound to be no good. But not agreeing would be tantamount to giving in, which would make him, the captain, lose face.

However, twenty Galleons was a lot of money for most students, and he didn't want to lose a large amount of his pocket money.

"We can give the Galleons to someone in advance to ensure that the winner can get the money." The malice on George's face became more obvious. "Let's go with Diggory. He has a good reputation and can ensure that the winner can get the Galleons."

Lee Jordan turned to the Gryffindor students behind him and said, "Whoever wants to participate, we will pay for the shortfall ourselves."

The reason is that quite a few students paid for it, and as Fred said, there is nothing more enjoyable than having a celebration party with the annoying Galleons.

The most important thing is that I don’t have to spend much money, and I can still disgust those annoying people in Slytherin College.

As for failure, they had never lost to the Slytherin team. What's more, the Weasley brothers were not afraid of failure, so they had nothing to fear.

Looking at the Gryffindor students who were actively signing up, Mr. Montgomery's expression became uglier. He turned to discuss with the other team members, and after a moment he shouted, "Whoever joins, the team will make up for the shortfall."

We have to follow no matter what, at least we can't lose in momentum. Besides, no one thinks they will lose, at least the Slytherin team won't.
