Chapter 1158: Harry's lucky day

Views:

"Professor Slughorn is so generous!"

Harry stared at the golden liquid in the bottle and a pleasant smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

He had used Felicis Felix before and was well aware of the magical effects of this magical potion.

"I'm sure Professor Slughorn knows how to brew the Felicis Felicis." Ron stared at the Felicis Felicis in Harry's hand with envy and couldn't help swallowing.

"If Professor Slughorn has any extra reserves of Felicis Felix, I'd like to buy some more from him. It doesn't matter if it's a little more expensive. It's a rare and good thing." Harry felt that today was his lucky day. As for the unpleasant conflict with Snape in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, he had long forgotten it.

"Don't overdose on Felicis Felicis," Hermione reminded kindly.

"In fact, I never expected to get extra Felicis from Professor Slughorn. Remember, Professor Slughorn said he only took it twice. If he had extra Felicis, he would definitely take it more than twice."

Harry stuffed the medicine bottle into his robe pocket, thinking about how to use the potion properly. It would be a waste to use it all at once. It would be most appropriate to divide it into several portions like Albert did and use it when needed.

"I don't know how Albert managed to make this thing last half an hour." Harry planned to find some time to ask Sirius to see if they had any solution.

"Harry, how did you do that?" Ron asked curiously.

"I... maybe it's just luck!" Harry noticed Malfoy eavesdropping and made up an excuse. "Of course, it's nothing. Some people are much luckier than me."

"You're right, some people are really lucky."

Ron followed Harry's gaze and saw Malfoy looking over here. He greeted him cheerfully, "I heard your house was set on fire."

Malfoy clenched his fists and looked at Ron coldly. Goyle and Crabbe also gathered over here, looking like they were going to fight with them.

"Don't be angry." Ron looked at Malfoy and sneered, "Some time ago, everyone thought that your family was buried in the fire. Aren't you lucky enough to have escaped?"

"Okay, Ron." Harry smiled and put his hand on Ron's shoulder, reminding him kindly, "You should be careful. If the Malfoys offer a large reward of Galleons, you're doomed."

“It’s terrible.”

Ron pretended to be terrified.

"If everyone knew that the savior they expected was such a person, they would definitely be disappointed." Malfoy stared at Harry and Ron coldly, his thin lips trembling slightly, and turned and left with Goyle and Crabbe.

"Harry, Ron, you shouldn't have..." Hermione was interrupted by Ron before she could finish her words.

"Don't be so naive, Hermione." Ron looked at the backs of Malfoy and the other two as they left, and said with disgust, "We didn't specifically target that little bastard. The Malfoy family is wicked to begin with."

"Don't forget the 10,000 Galleon reward." Harry thought Ron made a lot of sense. "Do you think a normal person would put out a 10,000 Galleon reward for someone's life?"

"That's 10,000 Galleons, Dad's salary for nearly ten years." Ron muttered, "You don't know how tempting that is. If the person on the bounty wasn't Albert, he might have lost his life."

"Don't forget, Lucius Malfoy tried to lead people to attack Albert's wedding, intending to kill him while he was getting married." Harry retracted his gaze and looked at Hermione, "After Lucius was imprisoned in Azkaban, the Malfoy family even offered a reward for Albert's life. Do you really think Draco Malfoy didn't know about this? I dare say that this matter must have been done by the mother and son."

Ever since he learned the truth about the attack on the Defense Against the Dark Arts shop from Fred and George last time, Harry completely lost the last bit of sympathy he had for the Malfoy family and ranked the Malfoy family after Toad and Voldemort.

"Maybe Albert was the one who set the fire. I don't understand why he didn't burn them both to death." Ron suspected that Albert deliberately spared Malfoy and his son.

"Perhaps, the Malfoy family is indeed very bad, but we don't need to be like this, it will make people feel that... the villains are succeeding."

Hermione didn't like Malfoy either, but she thought it was bad for Harry and Ron to do that.

"Let's go, let's go eat first. I'll tell you what I discovered later." Harry didn't want to listen to Hermione's sermon, so he changed the subject.

"What did you find?" Ron took over the topic.

"You'll find out soon." Harry said mysteriously.

During dinner, Harry took out the "Advanced Potion-Making" book he got in Potions class from his backpack and shared it with the two of them, and explained why he could brew a perfect potion of living hell in one go.

"So... you followed the modified instructions above?" Ron was surprised at Harry's boldness.

"Yes, the previous owner of this book must have been a genius in potions." Harry noticed the unnatural expression on Hermione's face, handed the book to her, and suggested kindly, "Perhaps, you can take some time to read it. I think the notes in this book will definitely help you improve your potion level."

"Forget it, I don't need it." Hermione returned the worn-out "Advanced Potion-Making" to Harry without hesitation.

"Hermione, I think Harry is right. 'Advanced Potion Making' compiled by Bashu Pollack is obviously a bit outdated." Ron took the book from Harry, squinted his eyes and struggled to read the small, dense handwriting on the book.

"What's written in the book isn't necessarily the only standard. You place too much importance on so-called authority." Harry felt that Hermione was sometimes as stubborn as a stubborn old man. She actually clung to the so-called "standards", which made him feel a little funny.

"The revised formula is obviously simpler and more convenient. Even Professor Slughorn admits that Harry's Hell Potion is perfect." Ron returned the book to Harry and continued, "In fact, Albert has revised many formulas. You probably don't know that the potion formulas used by Fred and George were all revised by Albert. It is said that brewing potions is easier than before and the quality is higher."

"If Albert also compiled a potion book, do you think his book is more credible, or is 'Advanced Potion-Making' more trustworthy?" Harry knew very well how to convince the stubborn Hermione. He also knew that Hermione just felt uncomfortable because she lost to him. After all, potions have always been one of Hermione's strengths, but she failed miserably today.

Before Hermione could speak, Neville appeared from behind them and asked, "Are we still having the DA party this year, Harry?"

"This... I don't know if I have the time. You know, there is a Quidditch match this year, and I'm not sure if I can find time for the DA party." Harry hesitated. He did not forget Albert's suggestion to maintain the DA party.

"It depends on the situation. If I have time, I will let you know."

"I like DA meetings, and I learn a lot of useful things there," Neville added before leaving: "I believe many people in the school hope that DA meetings can continue."

"Harry, I think Neville is right, you should keep the party going." Hermione said suddenly, "You need some supporters."

"But what about Quidditch? I can't just throw Quidditch aside, can I?" Harry did not forget that he was still the Quidditch captain of Gryffindor.

Neville was right. There were many people who hoped that the D.A. party could continue. They all came to ask Harry whether the D.A. party should continue.

Perhaps influenced by the Ministry of Magic's Defense Against the Dark Arts training, many people now believe that it won't hurt to learn more Defense Against the Dark Arts skills.

"You can take time out for DA meetings during your weekly break." Hermione suggested to Harry on the way back to the Gryffindor common room. "One to two hours each time won't waste too much of your time."
