Daily Life at Hogwarts

Chapter 122: Fooling around

Although Albert told the three people the cruel truth, it still failed to dispel Fred and others' idea of making a fortune.

In the next few days, the three began to frequently enter and exit the forbidden forest, trying to dig snow mushrooms in the hope of making a fortune.

However, the reality is undoubtedly cruel.

The three worked hard for several days but found nothing. Moreover, they annoyed Hagrid by entering the woods frequently.

The game ranger complained to Albert about this and took steps to drive the twins out of the woods.

Entering March, the weather warmed up quickly. The snow in the forest began to melt, and the snow mushrooms that only grew in the snow also disappeared along with the snow. After a few days of busy work, the Weasley brothers sat in the library listlessly without any results.

They haven't had a good time lately, as they were caught by Hagrid when they went into the woods and then taken to Professor McGonagall.

The result is predictable: solitary confinement.

Filch was delighted by this. His old face rarely showed a scary smile, which scared the three of them.

Filch had been giving them a lot of trouble in recent days.

"Don't be depressed, life is still good." Albert patted Fred's shoulder comfortingly and suggested: "Let's go fishing at the lake on Saturday."

"Forget it, let's not go. We don't want to be taught a lesson by Hagrid again." Fred was still blaming Hagrid for handing them over to Professor McGonagall.

"Okay!" Albert didn't say anything more.

"What are you doing?" Angelina put down her quill and looked up curiously. "I remember you finished your Transfiguration homework a long time ago."

"I'm writing a paper for Transfiguration Today. Professor McGonagall asked me to write it during the last Transfiguration Club." Albert explained casually, but he didn't realize how shocking this statement was.

"You said it was for a magazine?"

"Preparing to publish a paper in Transfiguration Today?" Not only Angelina, but everyone else was shocked when they heard this.

"Not yet? The manuscript will be handed over to Professor McGonagall first. She will select the appropriate ones and help revise them before publishing them on Transfiguration Today." Albert's thesis is: How to apply Transfiguration to the field of combat.

This was an area where Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall excelled, and he simply combined what he had seen before with the theory of Transfiguration.

Actually, Albert did not think that his paper could be published in Transfiguration Today. However, writing this paper was not without benefits. After reading it, Professor McGonagall would revise it carefully and write her opinions and comments at the end to help the students of the Transfiguration Club to make further progress.

Every time he wrote, revised and read this thing, Albert's deformation theory would be greatly improved, which is one of the reasons why Albert cared about this matter.

"I suddenly feel that Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club is very noble." Shanna admired Albert for being invited to join the Transfiguration Club. "I don't know if Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club still accepts people."

"Forget about it." Alia poured cold water on Shanna. "It's impossible. Unless you are outstanding in this aspect, you will never be invited in."

"I was just thinking about it. The Transfiguration that Professor McGonagall is teaching now is already difficult. I don't have the time to learn a more difficult Transfiguration, and I don't want to write papers that will kill countless brain cells." Shanna muttered softly.

It will indeed kill a lot of brain cells.

Albert always felt that his knowledge was not enough. He spent several days writing something that still did not satisfy him. Albert decided to hand the paper over to Professor McGonagall. He did not really care whether it could be published in the magazine.

Albert himself was well aware that his current knowledge of Transfiguration was more than enough to cope with the Transfiguration classes in the next few years.

Unless there is a related task, he has no plans to invest more experience into it for the time being.

In a way, living beyond your means is not a good idea.

In fact, Albert had tried to inspire this mission, but he never succeeded.

"Finished?" Alia said with emotion, "Your speed is still as amazing as always."

“It took me several days to write it.”

"Would you mind lending it to me?" Alia asked, changing the subject.

Albert did not refuse and passed the parchment across the table. Just as he expected, Arya returned the parchment after not looking at it for long.

Of course, she couldn't understand.

It is too difficult for students to explore and study magic in depth, and they mainly learn and master the most basic things.

Whether to dig deeper is a personal decision.

When the students of Hogwarts graduate, how many of them will be able to practice spells to the level 2 of the skill panel

"You look tired," Zannah whispered.

"This is the end of the paper. It took a lot of effort. I can only say that I am not at that level yet." Albert began to pack up his books and prepared to go to the kitchen to have a cup of afternoon tea to relax.

It would be even better if we could have some cake.

"If we're not at that level, then what level are we at?" Lee Jordan muttered.

Albert ignored him and asked, "Is anyone going to the kitchen?"

"Me!" Fred also stood up and prepared to go with Albert.

"Come on, you haven't finished your homework yet." George cruelly interrupted Fred's beautiful wish, "Let's go now. I don't know how long it will take. Finish your homework while everyone is here."

Fred sat down again dejectedly and continued to do his homework.

"See you later."

I left the library, walked through the corridor, and took the moving staircase straight to the first floor. When I passed the entrance hall, I was stared at for a long time by Filch who was mopping the floor.

Albert didn't care at all and went straight to the kitchen located below the auditorium.

Albert was a frequent visitor to the kitchen. The house-elves welcomed him warmly and served him milk tea and pies.

"Thank you," Albert said with a smile. His thanks always frightened the house elves, but he knew that the little guys liked to hear it.

"Are you preparing dinner?" Albert asked curiously.

"Yes sir." The house-elf nodded.

"You don't mind chatting with me for a while, do you?" Albert took a bite of the pie and drank a sip of milk tea, breathed a sigh of relief, and looked up and asked, "I'm interested in everything here, including you hardworking little guys."

"It's my pleasure."

"Sit down." Albert asked, "What's your name?"

"Kara," said the house-elf.

"It's okay, I don't mind." Albert pointed to the chair and said gently.

The house elf was unwilling to sit down no matter what. Albert didn't intend to force him, but asked curiously: "Your magic is very special. I can see that it is different from the magic we use."

"Yes sir, we use different magics." The house-elf hesitated, seemingly unwilling to discuss the subject.

"Can you use our magic?" Albert saw that the house-elf shook his head repeatedly but refused to speak, so he changed the subject and said, "Okay, let's change the subject. Can you make garlic scrambled eggs?"

"Garlic scrambled eggs?" Kara repeated, a little confused.

"Garlic scrambled eggs are..." Albert began to tell the house-elves how to make garlic scrambled eggs, trying to mislead the house-elves' cooking skills.
