Daily Life at Hogwarts

Chapter 1241: Great revenge

Views:

At 12 Grimmauld Square, Sirius, who had just been on night watch, realized that the situation was not good after receiving the alarm from Phineas.

Even if the Dark Mark appeared in the observatory, even if Death Eaters really invaded Hogwarts, it was nothing in front of Dumbledore who had already returned to school. He could basically handle most things by himself.

However, the headmaster still asked Phineas to remind the members of the Order of the Phoenix to reinforce Hogwarts, which means that Hogwarts may be in big trouble and needs help.

Sirius immediately contacted other members of the Order of the Phoenix through the communication bookmark, asking them to gather at No. 12 Grimmauld Place. Unfortunately, everyone had already gone to bed at that time, and in the end, only Lupin, Bill and Fleur, who Sirius had personally notified, hurried over.

The others were either in Azkaban or could not be contacted for the time being.

After discussion, the four of them unanimously decided that Fleur would stay at the headquarters and wait for the other members of the Order of the Phoenix to arrive, while the others would immediately use Floo Powder to reinforce Hogwarts.

On the way to the observatory, they met Professor McGonagall.

"What's going on now?"

Sirius asked Professor McGonagall after he had caught his breath.

"I'm not sure. Harry just ran to tell me that the Dark Mark appeared in the observatory and that Death Eaters had invaded Hogwarts. I'm still confused."

Professor McGonagall couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when she saw Sirius, Lupin and Bill, but she also realized that the situation was not good.

The sound coming from the astronomical tower made the four people stop talking immediately and prick up their ears in alertness.

Bill's eyes widened in shock and he muttered, "Did You-Know-Who invade Hogwarts?"

It's no wonder that Bill thought this way. In everyone's memory, the only one who could stand against Dumbledore was the mysterious man. The other Death Eaters were like children in front of him.

"Use the Felicis. We'd better hurry. I have a bad feeling about this."

Sirius was a little worried. It was hard to imagine that Dumbledore would encounter such a situation. No matter how you looked at it, the enemy had planned this for a long time, and it was very likely a trap specially prepared for Dumbledore.

After exchanging glances, they all took out the Felicis Felix and put it in their mouths, then turned their heads to look at Professor McGonagall beside them.

"Have you taken Felicis Felix?" Sirius asked suddenly.

"No, what's wrong?" Professor McGonagall shook her head. She actually got some Felicis Felix, but she was in such a hurry when she came that she didn't have time to take it with her.

"Then take one. I suspect there might be a big battle next." Sirius took out the remaining golden pill from his pocket and handed it to Professor McGonagall, "Just in case."

Professor McGonagall didn't refuse. She took the pill and put it in her mouth.

"I still don't understand how the Death Eaters managed to get through the heavy protective magic and invade the castle." Bill thought that other people might know the information. "Could it be through a secret passage, or from the Forbidden Forest?"

"That's impossible. All the secret passages leading out of the school have been blocked," Lupin was very sure of this. It was he and Sirius who helped block all the secret passages leading into Hogwarts.

"No one can fly in." Professor McGonagall shook her head and said, "If they rashly enter the school from the Forbidden Forest, it will set off an alarm. There is no way the Death Eaters can do it quietly."

"Actually, the secret passage under the Whomping Willow is not blocked. I mean the one leading to the Shrieking Shack." Sirius suddenly stopped, took out a strange object from his pocket and threw it in front of him, then turned his head and said to the others, "Next, let the inflatable doll rush to the front. Although we have taken the Felicis Felicis, we still have to be careful not to be ambushed by the Death Eaters."

After a while, Sirius' caution was rewarded. The dummy in the front was destroyed by a sudden spell when it turned the corner and was about to enter the observatory stairs.

Everyone stopped immediately, and Lupin stepped forward to observe the situation around the corner with the help of the mirror.

A very strong blond wizard walked down the stairs and destroyed the inflatable doll that was about to approach the stairs. Apparently he realized that Dumbledore's reinforcements were coming, and he immediately chanted a spell towards the corner. One explosive spell after another hit the wall and bounced around the corner, breaking the stones and even shattering the window glass.

After sensing something bad was happening, Professor McGonagall, Sirius and Bill waved their wands in time to deploy a protective barrier to protect the four of them, thus preventing them from being wiped out by the explosive curse.

"It's a strange face." Lupin said as he put away the mirror. They had all seen the memory of Voldemort's resurrection through Harry's memory, and they had impressions of most of the Death Eaters. But Lupin didn't recognize the madman who had just thrown spells at them. He was most likely a new Death Eater.

And the weirdest thing is that there is only one Death Eater. Where are the other Death Eaters?"

Hiding, or...

"We'll rush out together and get rid of him later."

Sirius waved his wand and summoned a large iron plate out of thin air. He used spells to control the large iron plate as a cover and led everyone out.

This trick, like using an inflatable doll to explore the way, was learned from Albert through the Weisley brothers.

Sirius took these little tricks more seriously than most members of the Order of the Phoenix.

It turns out that these little tricks really work.

When Sirius placed a thick iron plate in front of him to attract fire, several people led by Professor McGonagall rushed out from the corner and chanted spells at the blond Death Eater. Under the guidance of the Felicity Potion, the guy who was so arrogant just now was knocked to the ground by several spells, and his life or death was unknown.

"There's something strange. Where are the other Death Eaters?"

It was unusual that no other Death Eaters appeared despite the noise they made.

"Never mind, charge forward!"

Sirius didn't hesitate, and made another inflatable doll rush forward, and he also rushed behind with the iron plate that Lupin had just repaired.

An unexpected event occurred.

As the inflatable doll rushed towards the stairs, it was bounced into the air by a force.

When Sirius, carrying the large iron plate, rushed through the stairs, he was also thrown out by a force. Fortunately, Professor McGonagall chanted a spell in time to catch Sirius.

"They used magic to seal the stairs."

Bill had worked as a curse breaker in Egypt for many years and knew exactly what was going on. He immediately set about breaking the spell at the stairs.

Then the inflatable doll continued to rush forward, but it was still bounced out.

"Failed. It really takes time..." Bill muttered, "Those guys are trying to delay time. Is their target really Dumbledore?"

Everyone's faces looked grim. They all saw the Death Eaters' intentions. Although everyone had confidence in Dumbledore, they could not be optimistic in the current situation.

ah!

A dark shadow passed by the broken window, followed by a shrill scream that pierced the night.

"It looks like someone fell down."

"That man may have fallen to his death."

Lupin ran to the window and looked out, trying to figure out who had fallen.

"Now is not the time to worry about these things. We must first break through this magic barrier." Sirius called on everyone to chant the spell to break the curse together, trying to break it by force.

After everyone worked together to break the spell, Sirius took the lead and rushed upstairs. However, the spell on the stairs was not lifted, and Sirius was thrown out again, falling at the feet of Harry and Professor Flitwick.

"Are you okay? What's going on now?" Harry reached out and helped Sirius up.

"The stairs were sealed by a spell cast by the Death Eaters. We are trying to find a way to break it." Bill introduced the current situation to Professor Flitwick. "If we can't break it in a short time, I suggest trying to blow up the stairs or go up from another place."

"Let me try, it should be fine."

Professor Flitwick, who had not yet recovered, drew his wand and chanted a spell towards the staircase in front of him. After a moment, he put down his wand and said to everyone, "It should be OK. I have seen something similar before. It is likely that it will only allow Death Eaters with the Dark Mark to pass through."

This time, Sirius let the inflatable doll rush to the front, and just as Professor Flitwick said, the spell that blocked everyone was indeed lifted.

Just as everyone was about to rush in, the inflatable doll suffered a devastating blow, and the Death Eaters planned to block everyone at the stairs.

"Damn, how many Death Eaters have invaded Hogwarts." Sirius's face looked very ugly. If he had not taken the Felix Felicis and relied on the Felix Felicis's reminder to avoid the previous sneak attack, he would probably have been killed in the previous sneak attack.

"Are there other secret passages leading upstairs?" Bill looked at Sirius and Lupin, who were most familiar with the school's secret passages.

"No." Harry answered for them. He was observing the situation upstairs through the Marauder's Map. "There are eight of us upstairs, and there are several Death Eaters fighting with Dumbledore in the observatory. Snape and Malfoy are also upstairs. I said that this incident must have been caused by those two bastards."

"As for Snape's matter, tie him up and hand him over to Dumbledore to deal with it." Sirius took the Marauder's Map from Harry, observed it carefully and suddenly said, "I suggest that we smash down the ceiling. Since we can't go up, we can get them down. I'm sure those scum will be shocked."

He began to estimate where the Death Eaters were hiding, preparing to give them a ruthless blow.

Everyone turned their heads and looked at Sirius in disbelief.

"It's not easy. But we can give it a try. It's better than rushing straight to the stairs." Professor Flitwick nodded in agreement with Sirius's idea. Since they were lying in ambush there, they had to take other measures. "Let's use the Fracture Curse together to blow up the ceiling. At least it will be easier to repair later."

Everyone exchanged glances without any opinion, and then pushed the car outside the range designated by Sirius. Several people raised their wands and pointed them at the ceiling.

Torn into pieces!

The sound fell to the ground!

Five spells flew towards the ceiling at the same time. The ceiling above their heads instantly broke into countless small pieces of gravel, like tofu cut with a kitchen knife. Two unlucky guys were affected by the sudden collapse nearby and fell down from the upstairs in horror.

Falling unconscious, falling unconscious!

Without giving the two unlucky guys a chance to struggle, Harry used a Stunning Spell to knock them down, then cast a Spell of Swarming, snatched their wands, and broke them in two with both hands.

Seeing how easily Harry knocked down several Death Eaters and broke their wands, everyone was amazed at his skillful actions.

"Without wands, it will be difficult for the Death Eaters to pose much of a threat to us." Harry noticed the strange looks from everyone and quickly explained, "After all, not everyone knows how to cast spells without a wand."

“You did the right thing.”

Sirius agreed with Harry's approach, "Of course, you can also just render them harmless, such as killing the enemy directly."

"Sirius." Lupin frowned slightly.

"The enemy is the enemy. Don't sympathize with the enemy, Lemus. You should sympathize with the people they killed."

The Death Eaters who recovered from the mutation immediately used dark magic on the people below through the gap in the ceiling. As a result, they hit the Death Eater who was used as a shield by Sirius, causing his colleague who was still alive to die.

"Despicable and shameless." The Death Eaters were furious and prepared to cast the Killing Curse on Sirius, but they were unlucky and were pulled down from upstairs by Professor McGonagall. They fell heavily to the ground and their heads seemed to hit the marble, and they never got up again.

"There are five more up there!"

Sirius threw away the body, glanced at the wand that Harry had broken, and stuffed the Marauder's Map back into Harry's hand. "Help me keep an eye on their location."

He made a few silent gestures to Lupin and shouted, "Use those two scums as cover and charge straight ahead. They can't stop us."

As he said that, Sirius controlled the unconscious Death Eater to rush towards the stairs, but this time he did not rush up. Instead, he let the inflatable doll continue to move forward to explore the way, followed by the Death Eater who was used as a meat shield.

When Sirius attracted all the Death Eaters to the stairs, Lupin and Bill stepped directly on the stairs that Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick had made with rubble, broke in through the hole blown open in the ceiling above their heads, and used spells on the Death Eaters who were suppressing Sirius at the stairs, catching them off guard.

However, it seemed that two people rushed towards them directly, but one was knocked down by Bill and Lupin, and the other one, after being disarmed, actually bit Bill's arm that was blocking in front of him.

"Fenrir Greyback."

Looking at the man emitting a disgusting stench and a faint smell of blood, Lupin immediately used a spell to knock Fenrir away and helped Bill resolve the crisis.

"What a disgusting fellow."

Lupin raised his wand and easily eliminated any resistance from Fenrir, tying him firmly to the ground. A hideous smile appeared on his tired face: "It seems that once a month is not enough to satisfy a pervert like you."

"Lemus, are you okay?" Sirius had already rushed up, and the remaining Death Eaters had already retreated upstairs when they saw the situation was not good.

"Of course I'm fine. The Felicis has brought me luck!" Lupin stared at Fenrir and said softly, "You know, I've been waiting for this day for too long. My whole life has been ruined by a scum like you."

"Everyone has the right to revenge. I respect all your choices." Sirius raised his wand and walked to the side of James and said to Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, "If you can't do it, I can help you."

"Thank you, Sirius," Lupin said, quivering his lips. "But, thanks."

"How is your wound now?" Sirius looked at Bill's bleeding arm and asked with a frown, "Is there no way to stop the bleeding?"

"Not so good. I'm afraid ordinary spells can't heal. Will I turn into a werewolf?" Bill looked angrily at Fenrir who bit him and couldn't help spitting on the ground.

"No, it's not a full moon tonight, and Fenrir Greyback hasn't transformed, but he may have some werewolf characteristics in the future," Lupin reminded.

"That's good, if you can't do it, leave this guy to me!" Bill said murderously. He was bitten by Fenrir Greyback and almost turned into a werewolf.

"Forgiveness won't solve the problem." Harry said calmly, "I suggest that Fenrir Greyback should be humanely destroyed as soon as possible to prevent him from continuing to harm others. If you can't do it, I can help you."

Everyone was shocked by what Harry said.

"You're right," Lupin murmured. "Goodbye, you disgusting creature. You ruined my life, and I ruined yours. It's only fair."

A bolt of dark magic struck Fenrir Greyback, the ambitious werewolf falling upon his former prey.

He did not suffer too much before his death, which was the last kindness Lupin left him.

"How does it feel to have your revenge?" Sirius smiled and patted Lupin's shoulder to comfort him.

"It was a pleasure. I'm sorry I didn't give you the chance." Lupin turned to Bill and said.

"We'd better hurry!" Harry urged.

As they rushed to the stairs, they suddenly heard a loud explosion outside the castle.

"What's going on?"

"Someone is attacking Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall said with a serious expression.

"Don't worry, now I can see clearly, this is definitely a trap set by Albert," Sirius walked to the window and looked in the direction where the sound came from. The Felicis told him that this was definitely a conspiracy by Albert, and maybe Dumbledore was also involved.

"Albert's conspiracy?"

Everyone looked at each other, confused as to how Sirius could have come to such a conclusion.

"Don't you think it's very similar? Moreover, it's basically the same routine every time, and those Death Eaters foolishly fall into the trap." Sirius said softly, "They are planning to get rid of this group of people at once. There are more than a dozen Death Eaters in total. If they kill them all at once, Voldemort will probably be furious."

"No matter what, we'd better go over there as soon as possible to reinforce them. I have a bad feeling about this." Harry continued to urge. The deep sense of uneasiness still permeated his heart and he always felt that something bad was going to happen.
