Chapter 1274: Deathly Hallows

"Albert, I want to talk to you."

After using the Felicis, Harry went straight to Albert.

After seeing Harry's apologetic look, George smiled and waved his hand to signal Harry not to pay attention to them. Everyone was actually very curious about what Harry wanted to talk to Albert about.

However, the two obviously had no intention of talking here. They walked around the big tent where the party was going on, ready to find a place where no one would disturb them.

"There should be no one over there in the flowerbed." Harry led the way.

As they passed the open window of the kitchen, they saw the Order members discussing in low voices what might happen tonight.

The back garden of the humble house had long been abandoned, with dried plants everywhere, and there were a few goblins around who were secretly watching them.

Albert raised his wand and waved it towards the sky. A red spell exploded in the air and turned into a rain of light that directly knocked down all the goblins around him.

"Don't be so cautious!"

Harry felt that Albert was overly cautious, but he also knew in his heart that this caution was necessary, at least it could avoid a lot of trouble.

"Okay, ask whatever you want to ask!"

"You found the remaining two souls..." Harry noticed Albert's gaze and immediately corrected, "Did I say the whereabouts of the things?"

"You didn't take Felicis Felicis, or you actually wanted to steer the conversation to Felicis Felicis." Albert easily saw through Harry's thoughts.

"I'm running low on Felix Felicis. Bill told me that you gave them a bottle of Felix Felicis. Maybe I can buy some from you. I know you don't need Galleons, but..."

"I do have some reserves of Felicis, but unfortunately I can't use it now." Albert interrupted Harry directly.

"I hope to use the Felicis Felicis to find that thing." Harry hoped to convince Albert that he really needed the Felicis Felicis.

"Felix Felicis cannot bring you real good luck. The dosage is limited." Albert found that Harry now seemed to be a little dependent on the potion.

"You're definitely not looking for me for this matter," he asked, changing the subject.

"Well, I want to ask you something very important."

Harry pulled a Golden Snitch from his lizard-skin bag, lit his wand and showed Albert the message Dumbledore had left him: I'll open it when I'm done.

"Do you know what this means?"

"It would be meaningless for you to get the answer directly from me." Albert did not look at the handwriting on the Golden Snitch and directly pointed out Dumbledore's intention.

"Dumbledore would rather you get the answer yourself and open it at the critical moment, and this process is actually more important than telling you the answer directly."

"You know the truth?"

"The truth is cruel in a sense."

"The truth is cruel to me?"

Harry opened his mouth and fell into a brief silence as he looked at the Golden Snitch in front of him.

"What's hidden in the Golden Snitch?" he asked again.

"You will know when the time comes."

"Why do you all like to play charades? Why don't you just tell me directly?"

"No, what you have realized yourself is what truly belongs to you. No matter how much others say, it is just a bunch of nonsense." Albert did not reveal the secret directly. Doing so would be completely meaningless and would only make things worse.

He didn't think he could persuade Harry to die.

That's just asking for trouble.

"Did you guess all this yourself, or did Dumbledore tell you?" Harry asked again.

"Dumbledore didn't tell me much. After all, this is a feud between you and You-Know-Who." Albert reminded, "Well, don't mention that name. You should know that the name is under a spell. Although the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic like to use it to lure Death Eaters, this situation will be reversed in the future. Frequent use may bring trouble to yourself."

By the way, it was he who suggested to Scrimgeour that the Ministry of Magic use the name Voldemort to lure Death Eaters, but it was not very effective after being used once.

"What about the story of the three brothers in The Tales of Beedle the Bard?"

Harry wanted to ask something else when he saw Albert suddenly turn his head and look in a certain direction. Hermione and Ron were walking towards them.

"I'm sorry, we..."

Hermione noticed the look Albert was giving her and knew that she and Ron shouldn't come and disturb them at this time.

"You should be sorry that you shouldn't have let yourself be followed by two tails."

Albert waved his wand and two Aurors appeared out of nowhere, looking on with awkward expressions.

Hermione and Ron were stunned when they saw the two Aurors appearing out of nowhere behind them. They didn't realize they were being followed.

"I believe you have more important things to do than eavesdropping on young people's private conversations here." Albert told the two Aurors to get out.

As he turned to leave, Dawlish muttered, "I hate that guy!"

"The minister doesn't like him either, but you can't deny that he's really good."

They were also helpless. They had thought they could eavesdrop on some useful information, but Albert saw through them at a glance.

"These guys are so annoying. They didn't trust us from the beginning." Looking at the two people's backs as they left, Ron couldn't help but spit on the ground.

"Your anti-tracking technology needs to be improved."

"How did you find them?"

Hermione was actually more curious about this matter. She and Ron had no idea that they were being followed.

"It's not difficult for any skilled wizard to see through the Disillusionment Charm."

"alright."

Harry quickly stopped the two people who wanted to say something, so as to prevent them from wasting time asking trivial questions.

"Did Dumbledore give Hermione The Tales of Beedle the Bard so that we could find the Elder Wand and use that invincible wand to defeat the You-Know-Who?" Harry continued to ask.

"It's a wonderful idea, but I bet you won't be able to defeat You-Know-Who even if you get the legendary Elder Wand."

Albert was surprised by Harry's misunderstanding of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard", or rather, he was the one who led their thoughts astray.

However, this didn't seem to be surprising. After all, with the interference of an intruder like him flapping butterfly wings, it was normal for some deviations to occur.

"Why?" Ron couldn't help asking, "Isn't that an invincible magic wand?"

"Gap in combat experience?" Hermione asked tentatively.

"To some extent, it's indeed a gap in experience." Albert was very glad that Hermione could see this clearly.

"Since Dumbledore's death, it is actually very difficult to defeat the You-Know-Who by strength alone."

"Even you?" Hermione was surprised that Albert would say that.

"Don't interrupt, you know this is not the point." Harry had to bring the subject back.

When Hermione and Ron really wanted to ask Harry what the point was, they heard Harry say, "Albert himself is not in a hurry, which means he must have a way to deal with the You-Know-Who. We don't need to worry about it at all."

"You have a lot of confidence in me." Albert said with a smile.

"Because you always act like you're prepared." Harry didn't continue the topic and asked, "Do you already know where the Elder Wand is?"

"Know,"

Albert knew, of course, because the Elder Wand was now in his pocket.

"You found the Elder Wand!" Ron's breathing became rapid.

"That thing has no appeal to me at all." Albert said self-deprecatingly, "I prefer my own wand to a wand that may cause trouble at any time."

"See, I told you Albert wouldn't be interested in that old wand that could cause trouble," said Hermione happily.

"My own magical power is strong enough. That old wand is of no use to me. Instead, it will bring me a lot of trouble." Albert shrugged, indicating that he was not interested in the old wand at all. "Do you want that wand, Harry?"

"As long as it is not obtained by the mysterious person."

In fact, Harry was not very eager to obtain the Elder Wand, especially after hearing Albert say that he could not defeat the You-Know-Who even with the Elder Wand, he temporarily lost interest in it.

"Do you know where the Resurrection Stone is?"

"You want the Resurrection Stone?" Albert was not surprised by Harry's question.

"Yes, I want to ask Dumbledore in person. You must know where the Resurrection Stone is, right?"

Of the three items, Harry wanted the Resurrection Stone the most, so that he could talk to Dumbledore again and even see his parents.

"Dumbledore once searched for the Resurrection Stone. That was what he desired most, but he also paid a price for it." Albert said softly, "In my opinion, the Resurrection Stone is not a good thing."

"You mean the... the ring, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, which is now in..." Harry looked at the Golden Snitch in his hand.

Why couldn't he get the Resurrection Stone now

"Where's the Invisibility Cloak?" Hermione asked, changing the subject.

"I remember Harry had a special invisibility cloak." Albert said suddenly.

"You mean... But how can you be sure it's Harry's invisibility cloak?" Hermione asked puzzled.

"When you were in first grade, you left your invisibility cloak on the astronomy tower. I remember you seemed to have sent away a dragon that day." Albert reminded kindly.

"You were there too!" Hermione's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Yes, I was dating Yin Zebel at that time, and you suddenly broke in and left behind the most precious things." Albert suddenly missed school life a little.

"There were actually people there at that time." Ron was surprised.

Albert ignored Ron and continued, "After you left in a hurry, I picked up the Invisibility Cloak. It is indeed a very special cloak. It is not the kind of cloak made by Fred and George that has been cast with a Disillusionment Charm, or has an eye-catching trick, or is made of the fur of an invisible beast..."

"Wait, didn't Dumbledore give Hermione The Tales of Beedle the Bard so that we can find the Elder Wand and defeat the You-Know-Who?" Ron felt confused.

Isn't defeating the mysterious man the point

"It's fine if you think so, but I don't think that's what Dumbledore meant."

Albert waved his wand, conjured up a book out of thin air, and handed it to Hermione. "This is a book compiled by Dumbledore himself. It contains his own annotations after reading The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Perhaps it can help you find the answer."

"For me?"

Hermione was pleasantly surprised to receive The Tales of Beedle the Bard compiled by Dumbledore.

"I'm just lending it to you temporarily. Don't lose it, or no one will be able to help the principal publish this book."

"Hasn't this book been published?" Hermione was a little puzzled, because the copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" in her hand seemed to have been published.

"I am sure that Dumbledore has not published anything on a large scale." Albert shook his head and said, "I think it is my responsibility to ensure that Dumbledore's achievements do not disappear in my hands."

"I'll take good care of it, I promise." Hermione immediately put the book into her handbag.

"So, Dumbledore doesn't want us to learn the secret from The Tales of Beedle the Bard and go looking for the three treasures of Death." Ron felt that the whole thing was becoming confusing and he was confused.

"People call those three treasures the Deathly Hallows." Albert turned to Harry and said, "It is said that if you get them, you can become the master of Death."

"I think... I mean if the Noseless Monster knew, he would definitely do everything he could to find them." Harry couldn't help laughing, "That guy dreams of becoming the master of the god of death."

"But the word 'Deathly Hallows' is not mentioned in the story." Hermione asked puzzledly.

"Of course not. In fact, I don't know who coined this term, but there is indeed a symbol of the Deathly Hallows on Ingnotus' tombstone in Godric's Hollow.

"The Elder Wand."

Albert took out his magic wand and drew a vertical line in the air.

"The Resurrection Stone."

He added a circle above the vertical line.

"Invisibility cloak."

He drew a triangle outside the vertical line and the circle, and the whole shape looked like a triangular eye with a vertical line in the middle of the eye.

"Remember, Luna's father carried this thing." Ron pointed at the symbol in front of him and suddenly said, "When we were about to come over, Krum said it was Grindelwald's symbol and almost wanted to duel with Luna's father."

"So, the Deathly Hallows really exist?"

"Yes, Antiochus, Cadmus, and Ingnotus are believed to be the original owners, or rather the makers, of the Deathly Hallows."

"Is this really possible?" Hermione felt incredible.

"Don't forget the Philosopher's Stone. If something as magical as that can exist, why can't it be possible?" Albert asked in return. "The best evidence is that even if you use an invisibility cloak, it will show up on the Marauder's Map."

"That's true."

"Then Harry is the descendant of Ingnotus." Hermione felt that the whole thing was really amazing.

"Yes, perhaps he is a direct descendant of Ingnotus, and a certain generation of Potter married the last heir of the Ingnotus family and eventually inherited the invisibility cloak."

"What about the Resurrection Stone?"

"Of course, it is impossible to truly resurrect a person. Perhaps Dumbledore has more say in this regard. You can ask him later." Albert said with a strange expression. "By the way, the Gaunt family is likely the descendants of Cadmus."

"So, Harry and the mysterious man are relatives?" Ron felt that things were becoming more and more unbelievable.

“So the legend of the three brothers is just a made-up story partly inspired by them.”

This story probably implies that the eldest son Antiochus was killed by someone, even though he had the invincible Elder Wand, he could not defend against other people's insidious means. The second son Cadmus committed suicide, I suspect that this was because he often used the resurrection stone, which affected his mind and caused him to commit suicide. The third son Ingnotus died of natural causes, and his descendants all inherited a magical invisibility cloak.

"No, I didn't mean to..."

"You want to know the meaning of Dumbledore's actions?"

"right."

"Some things are meaningless to say. Just like what I am saying to you here actually goes against Dumbledore's original plan. He actually wants you to find the Deathly Hallows and eventually become the master of Death, rather than making the wrong choice like him."

"Master of Death, wrong choice?" Harry seemed to have thought of something and muttered to himself, "So, the last enemy I want to destroy is death, not the Noseless Monster."

"Isn't it the You-Know-Who?" Hermione didn't understand.

"What's a noseless monster?" Ron asked in surprise.

"The nickname of the mysterious man." Albert said jokingly, "You have also seen what he looks like. That guy has no nose."

"That… "

Just as Ron was about to ask if the Elder Wand was with Albert, Albert suddenly looked in a certain direction.

A gust of cold air blew towards them along with the night wind, making them shiver uncontrollably.

They are Dementors, and there are quite a few of them.
