"What is that?"
Hermione, who was originally concentrating on watching Harry and Ron join forces to fight Sirius, was startled by the sudden silver light ball.
Her scream startled the three people who were concentrating on their sparring.
Ron, who had just been distracted, was knocked away by an obstacle spell and fell heavily to the ground.
"What's wrong, Hermione."
Harry and Sirius stopped sparring and frowned as they looked in the direction of Hermione's finger. They saw a silver ball of light fall to the floor and turn into a silver cat.
"We need to contact Albert's two-way mirror." Professor McGonagall's voice suddenly sounded.
"Is this Professor McGonagall's Patronus?"
Ron walked over, rubbing his sore butt, and looked at the Patronus that disappeared without a trace.
"Professor McGonagall wants to contact Albert?"
Harry turned his head and looked at Sirius. He had guessed that Sirius and the others had a way to contact Albert.
"Maybe something happened. Looks like I have to go to Hogwarts."
Sirius looked at the spot where the Patronus disappeared and headed straight outside.
"Could it be related to Snape? I remember that the old bat seemed to become the headmaster of Hogwarts." Ron thought he had guessed the reason.
"Probably not." Harry shook his head.
"No one would want the murderer of Dumbledore to become the headmaster of Hogwarts. Maybe Professor McGonagall plans to join forces with Albert to drive Snape out of Hogwarts, or..." Ron made a throat-cutting gesture. He felt that if they really wanted to avenge Dumbledore, it would not be difficult to make Snape disappear from the face of the earth.
"Definitely not. I think it's most likely for students born in Muggle families." Hermione glanced at Ron, unable to understand how Ron came to such a conclusion.
"Don't forget the Muggle-born Registration Committee. Those employees who were born in Muggle families and worked for the Ministry of Magic were rounded up and thrown into Azkaban. I don't think the Death Eaters will let go of the students of Hogwarts so easily. Moreover, the You-Know-Who has always wanted to drive the Mudbloods out of Hogwarts. Now that he has finally completely controlled Hogwarts, no one can stop him from driving away students born in Muggle families. Professor McGonagall obviously can't stop him."
“Hopefully those students will be able to get help.”
Harry was well aware of the difficulties those students faced.
After being expelled from school for unknown reasons, the Ministry of Magic might come to their homes at any time to confiscate their wands and find an excuse to throw them into Azkaban.
Even if they wanted to escape, it would be difficult. With the Trace Thread on their bodies, they could not use magic, otherwise they would be immediately targeted by the Ministry of Magic.
What despair this is.
"I believe Albert will find a way." Hermione comforted.
"Anderson is not omnipotent. You can't rely on him for everything." Ron really couldn't understand where Hermione's confidence in Albert came from.
"Albert is indeed not omnipotent, but he probably knew that this kind of thing would happen a long time ago. Don't forget the "Self-Defense Guide". That guy must have been prepared. This is probably the main reason why Professor McGonagall wanted to talk to Albert about this matter." Harry knew a little about Albert. With that guy's cautious style of doing things, he must have made a lot of preparations. Sometimes he couldn't help but wonder if Albert was actually a Gryffindor student.
After receiving the Patronus message from Professor McGonagall, Sirius rushed to Hogwarts with a two-way mirror.
At this moment, Hogwarts was still protected by strong protective magic. When Sirius was considering whether to enter Hogwarts from the tunnel of the Whomping Willow, he saw Hagrid striding towards him to open the door for him.
"Did you bring the mirror?" gasped Hagrid.
"Yes."
Sirius pulled a mirror from his robe pocket.
"I'm telling you, Professor McGonagall just received news that that bastard Snape has been appointed as the new headmaster of Hogwarts. Perhaps we should take this opportunity to kill him and avenge Dumbledore."
Listening to Hagrid's incessant complaints along the way, Sirius frowned and asked, "I totally agree that we should take the opportunity to kill Snotlout, but I don't think Professor McGonagall is looking for Albert for this reason."
"Professor McGonagall seems to want to protect students born in Muggle families who might be expelled." Hagrid only had a general understanding.
“It’s not easy.”
Sirius frowned as he guessed what Professor McGonagall was going to do.
"Let's not talk about whether those students are willing or not, and... I mean, although the Fidelius Charm is a good choice, it will also bring a lot of problems. It's not like we can just put those children in a safe cage and leave them alone."
Sirius was not against Professor McGonagall's plan, but such a plan was bound to be difficult to implement, and various problems were not so easy to solve.
But he still felt that Professor McGonagall did the right thing by consulting Albert and asking him to help solve the problem. Perhaps that guy could provide a reliable solution.
After the two-way mirror was successfully connected, not only Professor McGonagall, but other deans also breathed a sigh of relief.
"professor?"
Albert's slightly surprised voice came from the mirror.
"What do you want from me?"
"The You-Know-Who has extended his claws to Hogwarts. As you predicted before, Snape has become the new headmaster of Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall glanced at everyone present and said, "I think you should have heard about the Muggle-Born Registration Committee."
"Are you worried that students born in Muggle families who attend Hogwarts will be expelled by Snape?" Albert immediately guessed the reason why Professor McGonagall was looking for him.
"Yes. After the Ministry of Magic announced the establishment of the Muggle-Born Registration Committee, they sent all the employees of the Ministry of Magic who were born in Muggle families to Azkaban." Professor McGonagall expressed her concerns: "I am worried that those guys will also send students born in Muggle families of Hogwarts to Azkaban."
"You are right to worry. The You-Know-Who and the Death Eaters will indeed do that. They now control the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts School. No one can stop them."
"Is there any way you can provide some help to those children?" Professor McGonagall asked expectantly.
"Unfortunately, I have tried my best to remind them of this day." Albert shook his head, "However, the effect is not very good. Most people prefer to trust their own judgment. Before they encounter those things, they will not easily believe what others say."
Albert didn't have any special feelings about the outcome of Wes's family coming. Perhaps he knew it would be like this from the beginning.
"Of course, I think the professor should have his own ideas." His tone was very firm.
"We plan to build a safe house similar to the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix and use the Fidelius Charm to protect those children." Professor McGonagall briefly explained her plan.
"That's a good idea, but it would be a lot of trouble."
Albert seemed to have guessed what Professor McGonagall would say, and explained, "Humans are not animals after all. They probably can't tolerate being locked in a cage."
Professor McGonagall's mouth hung open, obviously not expecting to hear such words.
"I suggest you explain the situation to them directly and ask them to voluntarily accept protection. After all, not everyone is willing to accept your kindness. It is best to give them the choice and let them decide whether to stay."
"It seems that you already have an idea." Sirius was not surprised. He felt that Albert had probably thought of this solution a long time ago.
"Tell me what you have to say," said Professor Flitwick, smiling.
"First, occupy a building that is large enough and use the Fidelius Charm to turn it into a safe area." Albert briefly explained his method to everyone. "Well, it's probably about setting up a refugee camp. I remember Scrimgeour also did something similar. Anyway, they are similar, but they don't need to be so perfect."
"If they have nowhere else to go, they can go somewhere and receive limited asylum, and if they don't feel they need asylum, they can leave on their own."
"As long as the safe zone is protected by the Fidelius Charm, it is safe."
Professor McGonagall turned her head and looked at the other deans around her. They quickly exchanged glances with each other and all thought this was a good idea.
At least it was in line with their original protection plan, and Albert had obviously thought further, even considering possible subsequent problems.
"But will this really... I mean provide students with..." Professor Sprout was interrupted before he could finish his words.
"We must make them understand that they are refugees. Don't spoil them, because some people are born that way. The more you force them, the more they resist..."
Albert's words left them all stunned. It wasn't that they couldn't think of it, but they didn't think about it in that direction.
"In fact, you have been ignoring the big problem."
"What's the big deal?" asked Professor McGonagall.
"Where will the daily necessities come from? Where will the Galleons to rescue them come from? Do you expect someone to shamelessly donate a large sum of Galleons?" Albert curled his lips and said, "I don't mind donating some flour and potatoes, but without the help of house-elves, many students will even have problems cooking."
The professors were silent again, because they had never thought about this issue from beginning to end. During their tenure at Hogwarts, they never had to think about food.
"I'm afraid the Order of the Phoenix can't provide much help." Sirius noticed the look in Professor McGonagall's direction and shook his head. "However, I can donate 100 Galleons to help them buy flour and potatoes."
The deans present here may have some savings, but they are definitely not rich.
The few Galleons they have are not enough to fill this bottomless pit, but if, as Albert said, they just want to maintain the minimum living requirements, it shouldn't be too difficult.
"The biggest question now is, are they really willing to stay in that kind of hellhole?" Professor Slughorn asked with a frown.
"I'm afraid they have no choice." Albert said suddenly, "From what I understand, the Ministry of Magic will soon set up a so-called search team."
"What is that?"
"The search team composed of dark wizards is searching for wizards from Muggle families. Every time they capture a wizard, they can get a considerable reward from the Ministry of Magic." Albert explained.
"It seems that we have to hurry up." Professor McGonagall nodded to the deans beside her.
"When the time comes, we can ask Hagrid to go over and help look after them. After all, we still need someone to help maintain order." Albert's voice came from the two-way mirror. "It's not a good idea to let him stay in Hogwarts."
