"That should be about right!"
Albert lowered his wand and looked down at the dark wizard he had just knocked down. He took out the Marauder's Map from his pocket and made sure that there were no fish caught in the net nearby. Then he walked out of the building along the stairs and headed for the shelter a hundred meters away.
Albert rarely visited the shelter.
If possible, he didn't want to come here to cause trouble, nor did he want to deal with those guys who just wanted to survive, because there was no point in doing so. He never liked to listen to others nagging and complaining, and he didn't like to see those ungrateful guys.
However, in order to destroy the last Horcrux, Albert had to come here anyway to meet the two goblins who used to work for Gringotts and were hiding here.
After Bellatrix was thrown into the asylum, he was unsure whether Voldemort would move the Hufflepuff Cup that was in the Gringotts vault.
Although the possibility is low, he needs to be prepared.
Especially after the death of the main branch of the Strange family, will the Strange family inheritance be inherited by other branches of the Strange family
There are indeed other branches of the Strange family, but they do not have the last name Strange.
As for whether he had the right of inheritance, Albert was not sure, but in order to prevent the Hufflepuff gold cup from disappearing under his nose, he felt that he should take some protective measures to avoid any accidents at the last critical moment.
It’s not that Albert doesn’t trust Harry Potter, who has the aura of the protagonist, but Voldemort’s death is related to the peace of the British wizarding world, his interests, and even subsequent arrangements.
If all the Horcruxes are not completely destroyed and Voldemort cannot be killed completely, things will become very troublesome.
After all, he is not alone now.
An enemy hiding in the dark was too terrifying, and it would make Albert feel uneasy. Therefore, he would never allow any deviation in the plan to kill Voldemort.
All Horcruxes must be destroyed and Voldemort must die.
In order to destroy the Horcrux, they must break into the Strange family vault and find the Hufflepuff's cup. Only the goblins working in Gringotts know the location of the Strange family vault.
He really needed the fairy's help, or at least to meet him.
Of course, Albert would not be stupid enough to walk into the asylum openly. That would be too conspicuous and it would be easy for possible spies in the asylum to report the news to the Death Eaters.
Albert didn't know whether there were any Death Eaters' spies in this shelter, but since he had already placed spies around Voldemort, he believed that the Death Eaters would definitely try to do so.
It is not difficult to find a spy in this asylum where good and bad people gather: for example, use the Imperius Curse to control a poor Muggle wizard.
As we approached the shelter, a dilapidated high-rise building appeared out of nowhere in front of us.
As soon as Albert stepped into the hall, a strange and foul smell hit him in the face, forcing him to cover his mouth and nose with his hands.
The conditions in the shelter were terrible.
Honestly, this isn't too surprising.
The door was blocked by the black wizards outside, forcing these refugees to eat, drink, defecate, urinate and sleep in this shabby place. It would be a miracle if the environment could be good.
Albert just sighed a little and stopped paying attention to it. It was not his business to take care of it anyway.
In fact, even if he wanted to manage it, he couldn't do anything, otherwise the Order of the Phoenix would have united them long ago, just like those expelled students in another shelter.
Hannah and her companions managed the asylum in an orderly manner, and except for a few stubborn ones, most of the students had joined Dumbledore's Army.
As for here
Although the Order of the Phoenix did unite a small number of wizards, they only said that they supported Harry, but in their hearts they just wanted to find a safe place to hide until the war was over.
No one knew who told them the "rumor" that the Second Wizarding War would not last long and that Harry Potter would definitely win, but for Muggle wizards who wanted to escape reality, they were more or less willing to believe this because they had no other choice.
Passing through the noisy floors, automatically blocking out the complaints and curses, Albert walked up the stairs to the eleventh floor of the building.
As he walked through the corridor, several wizards were playing wizard chess to pass the time, and the wizard cast curious glances at him.
Albert didn't care and walked straight through the corridor to the room at the end, where the two goblins were temporarily living.
As soon as he approached the room at the end of the corridor, Albert felt an unidentifiable buzzing sound in his ears. Apparently someone was using an ear-blocking spell to prevent anyone from eavesdropping on their conversation.
It is not difficult to guess who would use ear plugs to listen to the spell here.
Albert raised his hand and tapped his ears gently to make the annoying buzzing sound disappear. Then he drew out his wand and cast a spell around the corridor to prevent anyone from approaching and eavesdropping on their conversation.
Some things are better not to be known by too many people.
Albert walked to the room without a door, raised his hand and tapped on the wall a few times as a sign of... politeness.
However, the people in the room seemed to notice his arrival and turned their heads to stare over here.
"Good afternoon, Harry."
Albert looked at the one person and two goblins in the room, and his eyes fell on Harry, who was disguised as Lupin. He said in a calm tone, "Your outfit is really... special."
"Who are you?"
Harry looked at the stranger in front of him, his mouth open in shock.
"Who do you think I am?"
Harry seemed to think of something and asked tentatively, "Albert?"
Since Harry could disguise himself as Lupin, others could do it too.
"It seems that we are here for the same purpose."
Albert nodded to Harry, shifted his gaze to the goblin who was looking at him warily and communicating with his companions in hoarse and harsh goblin language, and smiled and nodded at them to show that he meant no harm.
"How did you recognize me?" Harry couldn't help asking.
"The Lupin disguise revealed your identity. It's not that hard to guess, is it?" Albert explained casually, "Just like you can easily see through my identity."
"That's because you're probably the only one who can recognize my name at a glance," Harry muttered.
"Well, did you convince them?"
Albert waved his wand, conjured up a stool for himself out of thin air, and sat down opposite the two goblins.
"We don't take sides, this is a wizard's war." The older goblin said to Albert.
"Yes, this is a wizard's war." Albert said noncommittally, "However, haven't you also been involved in this war and can't get out easily? Otherwise, you don't have to hide here and accept my protection."
"Your asylum?"
The old, rough-voiced goblin looked at Albert with surprise and confusion, as if he couldn't understand what he was saying for a moment.
"It's relatively safe here, isn't it?"
Albert raised his hand to signal Harry not to speak, and continued, "I think you wouldn't mind providing me with some insignificant help. I think mutual benefit is conducive to maintaining the relationship between the two parties."
"What do you want us to do to help you?" the young fairy asked first.
"I want to know what's going on in the Strange Vault." Albert stated his purpose directly.
"You all want to rob the Strange vault?"
The two goblins looked at each other, wondering what on earth attracted them to come to Strange's vault.
"right."
"You can't take any wealth from our underground vault that never belonged to you." Gonuk said angrily.
"We're not going to rob the vault, but take an item from it that doesn't belong to Strange," Harry tried to explain to the two goblins.
"That's robbery."
The goblins found Harry Potter's words ridiculous.
"Gringotts is no longer controlled solely by goblins, is it?" Albert kindly reminded, "If you are unwilling to surrender to the You-Know-Who and hand over control of Gringotts, your situation will not be much better than that of the Muggle wizards here. It is not difficult to see this from your current situation, is it not?"
"He is right, Gonuk. I absolutely do not recognize the wizard as my master." Another goblin looked at Albert and said, "Although I would like to help you, I have never been to the Strange vault. However, fortunately, Gonuk has been there."
"Is there anything in there..."
"Shut up Potter, knowing too much won't do them any good." Albert glared at Harry and warned, "You should know what the consequences will be."
Griphook and Gonuk looked at each other and fell into a brief silence.
"You've always wanted to get the sword back, haven't you?" Albert suddenly said.
"The Sword of Gryffindor belongs to the goblin." Griphook did not deny it.
"So, I believe you won't refuse to provide some insignificant help." Albert looked into Griphook's eyes and said softly, "Harry's reward is enough to satisfy you, isn't it?"
"It seems you know us well." Gonuk also realized that they had no better choice if they wanted to get the sword back.
"The Strange vault is deep inside Gringotts, one of the most secure vaults," Gonuk said after a moment's hesitation. "I don't know what you want to take from it, but your success rate in invading Gringotts is not high, let alone taking anything from the vault."
"You'll help us, won't you?" said Harry.
"Deep underground in Gringotts there is a semi-tamed Ukrainian Ironbelly guarding it. Any unauthorized personnel approaching the nearby vaults will be attacked by it." Gonuk didn't respond and continued to introduce the situation of the Strange vault to the two.
"The items in the Strange vault are all under fire and duplication spells. Any valuables that thieves touch will be burned, and a bunch of worthless items will be copied to prevent them from stealing items from the treasure house, or even bury them and crush them to death."
"How to open it?" Albert suddenly asked.
"I can't possibly tell you all the information." Gonuk shook his head. "Once you hand over the Sword of Gryffindor to us, we will continue to help you."
"It's not enough to just reveal this information," Harry said to the two goblins. "I hope I can get your help at that time."
"We will assist you. This is a fair deal."
"When does it start?" Griphook suddenly asked.
"The time has not been determined yet, but I believe that day will not be too far away." Harry looked at Albert, as if he wanted to get some hints from him.
"One last question."
Albert ignored Harry's gaze and continued to ask, "If the main branch of the Strange family is dead, who will inherit their wealth?"
"It usually requires recognition from the Ministry of Magic before one is allowed to inherit wealth, but this is rare," Griphook replied.
"Are all the people who came to Strange's house dead?" Harry asked.
"Bellatrix, the last mistress of the Strange family, has been missing for some time." Albert looked away, stood up from the chair, waved his wand, made the stool disappear, and pretended to leave.
This is the right trip.
Just a few minutes ago, Albert successfully obtained the required information from Griphook's mind.
The key to Strange's vault lies in the possession of an old goblin named Bogrod, and Albert has already confirmed where Bogrod lives.
In a few days, he will visit Bogrod in person and ask for his help.
