Chapter 1351: Turn them into mice

Bang bang bang!

There was a hurried knock on the office door.

"What's up?"

Parkinson opened the door, saw the person coming in, and stepped aside to let Crabbe into the office.

"Professor, Michael Corner is missing?"

Crabbe noticed Professor Carrow in his office and paused slightly.

"Missing?" Parkinson's voice was soft, and no one could tell whether he was angry or not.

"Yes, missing," Crabbe reported. "Filch found it during a routine check of the dungeons."

"I see. You did a great job. I'll take care of this matter." Parkinson signaled Crabbe to leave. He seemed to remember something and suddenly said, "Oh, by the way, since Mr. Connor is missing, the original party may have to be cancelled. Please tell the others about this."

Crabbe left unhappy, as every dark magic gathering was one of his few pleasures.

The door of the Dark Arts Office was closed again, and Parkinson turned his head to look at Alecto Carrow, who was wiping his wand with a handkerchief beside him.

"It must have been Dumbledore's Army who rescued the boy from the dungeons." Alecto lit the handkerchief with his wand.

"According to the latest news I received, Longbottom is the organizer of Dumbledore's Army, and he has been secretly sent out of Hogwarts." Parkinson suddenly said.

"Where did you get the latest news?" Alecto asked, staring at his colleague.

"Snape provided it." Parkinson's words were surprising. "That guy has been lurking in the Order of the Phoenix for more than ten years. The line over there has not been completely cut off, and he can occasionally get some intelligence. The Dumbledore Army was created by the Order of the Phoenix, and they also need fresh blood to join."

"Our principal seemed to think that it was just a minor matter and that we could handle the problem without him having to do it himself." There was a hint of dissatisfaction in Alecto's tone.

"If Dumbledore's Army has been disbanded, who do you think rescued Michael Corner?" Parkinson brought the subject back.

"Are you doubting other professors in the school?"

Alecto understood what the other party meant, but she did not agree to move the school professor, at least not now.

"That old woman Minerva seems afraid to do anything except protest, but that guy is Dumbledore's man. I don't believe she would be so weak." Parkinson secretly observed Alecto's reaction.

"Let Snape worry about those troubles by himself. We just need to complete our mission." Alecto reminded before pushing the door and leaving, "I know you have your own ideas, but... everything should be based on the Dark Lord's mission."

Parkinson looked at Alecto's departing back expressionlessly, grabbed some takeoff powder from the box on the fireplace and sprinkled it into the blazing fireplace.

"Severus."

The next moment, Snape walked out of the rising green flames.

Parkinson told Snape about the conversation that had just taken place.

"Alecto Carrow should be fine." Snape finally came to this conclusion, "She should be sent by the Dark Lord to monitor me."

"You knew it a long time ago." Parkinson was a little surprised by Snape's calmness.

"The Dark Lord never really trusted anyone. He only trusted himself." Snape grabbed a handful of Floo powder and turned to Parkinson and said, "We just need to do our own thing. And do you really think Alecto Carrow is here to monitor me, not me to monitor her?"

"What are you going to do about Michael Corner's disappearance?"

"Don't worry about it. The main thing now is to maintain the stability of Hogwarts. The Dark Lord doesn't want any problems here." Snape threw the Floo powder into the fireplace. Before walking into the rising green flames, he reminded, "Reforming this school can never be done overnight. By the way, help me keep an eye on the other professors. I'm also curious about what they want to do."

"How does it feel?"

Ernie looked worriedly at Michael, who was lying on the sofa.

"The painkiller isn't very effective." Michael grimaced in pain.

"That thing can only slightly relieve the pain." Seamus shook his head.

"You shouldn't have taken such risks privately," said Ernie reproachfully.

"If we don't rescue him, he might not be able to hold out and tell us our secrets."

Michael did not regret his actions, but he was just surprised that the Disillusionment Spell was actually seen through.

"Maybe, you should discuss it with us, we can..." Ernie shut up under Michael's gaze. He really couldn't take on the responsibility of organizing Dumbledore's Army.

"You can't expect everyone to be as brave as you." Patil sprayed distilled water essence on Michael's wound.

"Many people are frightened by the brutality of the Death Eaters," Lavender muttered.

Ever since Neville and Luna left Hogwarts, everyone realized that it had become difficult to maintain Dumbledore's Army.

Even Ernie, who took over the organization from Luna, wanted to continue to maintain Dumbledore's Army, but the difficulty was higher than expected. The Death Eater named Parson King was strictly tracking their whereabouts, causing many people to retreat in fear.

"Dumbledore's Army won't disband easily. At least we have a place to gather and practice magic." Seamus seemed to see through Ernie's thoughts and patted him on the shoulder to comfort him. "Besides, doesn't Neville come back every week to organize gatherings?"

"Actually, I really don't understand." Ernie trembled his lips. "Even if you can't drive the Death Eaters away, why don't you use the Imperius Curse to control them?"

Everyone was shocked by Ernie's bold statement.

"If the professors are unwilling to do it, then let the Order of the Phoenix do it. Didn't they use the Imperius Curse to control the Death Eaters?" Ernie told everyone about his bold plan. "As long as the Death Eaters are controlled, we can pretend that Hogwarts is still under the control of You-Know-Who. Even if we can't turn this place into a base for resistance against You-Know-Who, at least everyone can go to school normally."

"this… "

Many students looked at each other in bewilderment. They really had never thought about it, mainly because everyone was more resistant to the Unforgivable Curses.

"Maybe, we can wait for Neville to come over and then mention this to them." Anthony frowned slightly. He felt that the probability of success of this was not high.

If Albert really wanted to do that, he would have done it long ago. Why would he have to wait for Ernie to mention it

"I don't think that's very reliable. How about we turn the Death Eaters into rats and lock them up, then pretend that they disappeared inexplicably?" Seamus suggested. He seemed to have heard someone mention that Ron's rat named Scabbers was transformed by a wizard.

"I think that's even less plausible!" Terry muttered.

"We just turned them into rats and locked them up." Seamus looked to Ernie and Michael for support. "Parkinson is the professor of dark arts anyway. Isn't it normal for that cursed position to disappear?"

"Do we have anyone here who is good at Transfiguration?" Michael thought this was a good idea, but it would take a very strong Transfiguration skill to turn a person into a mouse. "I'm afraid Professor McGonagall won't help us."

"I remember that Cedric is very good at Transfiguration. If he is willing to help, he can definitely do this." Ernie agreed with Seamus' suggestion. They needed to fight back instead of enduring the oppression of the Death Eaters.

"If that were to happen, and Snape discovered that the Death Eaters were missing, he would surely..."

"Do you want to be as miserable as me?" Michael showed the others the whip marks on his body. "At worst, I can drop out of school and join the Defense Association. I can't stay in this crappy place any longer."

"Why not the Order of the Phoenix? Harry, Hermione and Ron all seem to have joined the Order of the Phoenix." Lavender asked puzzledly.

"Only by joining the Defense Association can you learn something truly useful." Ernie explained, "I dare say that after this period of training, Neville will definitely be much better than us."

They all wanted to believe that Harry was the savior.

However, compared to the Order of the Phoenix that lost Dumbledore, the Defense Society formed by Albert is obviously more reliable and more suitable for them, because the Defense Society really teaches everyone how to fight against dark wizards.
