Chapter 176: A bunch of things

By the end of the class, everyone was covered in dirt and looked exhausted, as if they had just done hard labor. When they returned to the castle to take a shower, change into robes, and then hurried to the Transfiguration class, the Gryffindor students were all late because of the tight schedule.

Professor McGonagall looked unhappy. After hearing the explanation, her expression became better, but she still deducted five points from the Gryffindor student.

In the Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall asked everyone to review the important knowledge points of the previous semester. They needed to turn a beetle into a button.

Compared to the final exam last semester, which was about turning a mouse into an ashtray, this is not that difficult. However, most students cannot do it. Perhaps, after a summer vacation, this part of the knowledge has gone with them and has not returned to their heads yet.

Lee Jordan's beetle was running around the table until it accidentally fell to the floor and was squashed by Albert. He had to ask for another one, which did not make Professor McGonagall very happy.

Albert became the most leisurely student in the Transfiguration Spell again. He easily turned the beetle into an exquisite silver button, and Professor McGonagall gave him five extra points for it.

"I don't want you to give me back the knowledge you learned last semester just after the summer vacation." Professor McGonagall stared at Fred sternly and warned: "Mr. Weasley, if you continue to torture that poor beetle, I will put you in detention."

"Professor, we can't use magic during the summer vacation."

"I didn't expect you to come up with a better idea, Miss Ford." The poor Gryffindor girl had already lowered her neck before Professor McGonagall's stern eyes swept over. "I hope you can take some time to review it carefully, so as not to fall behind in the upcoming classes."

"You should know that Transfiguration is difficult. If you want to achieve good results in this area, you'd better put in more effort."

"Got it." Everyone said in unison.

As for how much they actually knew, it is unknown.

Before the get out of class ended, Professor McGonagall stopped Albert and told him that there would be a Transfiguration Club meeting in the evening.

Of course, as Albert expected, Katrina McDougal was also invited to join the Transfiguration Club. She was one of the few students in the same class who was talented in Transfiguration.

"If you don't know the exact location of classroom 21, you can ask Mr. Anderson." Professor McGonagall said to Katrina.

"Congratulations." Albert said to Katrina after Professor McGonagall left.

"It's expected, isn't it?" Katrina raised her chin and asked, "I'm ready. When are you free? Let's continue the bet we made last semester."

"Don't you need to prepare yourself again?"

"You haven't forgotten, or do you want to... cheat?" Katrina looked at Albert with a scrutinizing look, trying to make sure if Albert was playing a trick on her.

"Oh, of course not. It's just that I've been a little busy lately. How about a weekend?" Albert said after a brief consideration, "I need to prepare. Ten questions are a bit difficult for me."

"Do you think I will believe it?" Katrina said in a strange tone, "It is rumored that Albert Anderson is a liar. Five out of ten sentences he said are false, three are nonsense, and two are true."

"Who said that?" Albert said dissatisfiedly, "I am obviously an honest man, but there are still people who say I am a liar."

"Who knows?" Katrina brought the topic back to Albert, "Remember to prepare ten Galleons. Don't say you don't have any Galleons when the time comes."

"Don't worry, I'm definitely richer than you." Albert said with a smile, "By the way, do you know where the Transfiguration Club meets?"

"Know."

"Do you know the rules of the Transfiguration Club?" Albert asked again.

"What's the routine?"

"Use the Transfiguration Spell to transform yourself into a chair." Albert kindly reminded, "If you have time, remember to take the time to practice. Don't be unable to transform a chair when the time comes, or you'll become a laughing stock."

"It's very simple." Katrina couldn't help but raise her eyebrows, obviously not very clear about this matter.

"That's all. If you don't understand, you can ask Isobel. She is also a member of the Transfiguration Club." Albert said and prepared to leave.

"Of course I know that Isobel is a member of the Charms Club." Katrina asked in confusion, "By the way, Professor Flitwick didn't invite you to join his Charms Club?"

“Not yet.”

"That's strange." Katrina muttered. In fact, Katrina had already received an invitation from Professor Flitwick.

To some extent, Katrina can also be considered a genius, but she is just a weakened version of Isobel. This unfortunate sister still cannot escape the glory of her genius sister.

"Maybe..." Albert suddenly said, "... maybe we haven't had a spell class yet."

"You... Humph, of course I know." Katrina snorted in dissatisfaction and turned away.

Looking at Katrina's departing back, Albert couldn't help but shake his head. He immediately quickened his pace and headed to the auditorium to meet up with his roommates and have lunch together.

When Albert entered the auditorium, Fred and George were discussing something, and Lee Jordan handed him a piece of parchment.

"For me?" Albert reached out to take the note that Li Jordan handed to him and asked in confusion, "Who gave it to me?"

"The other party said it was Principal Dumbledore." Li Jordan was also very curious about why the principal gave Albert the note.

"Principal?" Albert opened the note directly and glanced at its contents.

Dear Albert:

I hope to invite you to have a cup of tea in the principal's office at 7 o'clock this evening.

Yours faithfully

Albus Dumbledore

Also: I like mead.

"What does Dumbledore want you to do?" Fred asked puzzledly.

"Have tea." Albert handed the note to Fred.

"Drink tea?" After the three of them came over to take a look, they were all confused. They didn't understand why the principal wanted to ask Albert to have tea

"Isn't that strange?" Albert asked.

"It doesn't seem strange to you," George said.

Last semester, Professor Broad often invited Albert to his office to drink tea, play chess and chat.

"But what happened today? Why did all these things happen at the same time?" Albert could naturally guess what Dumbledore wanted to talk to him about.

By the way, is Hertog Dagworth planning to get the gold card back from me through Dumbledore

Albert found this very interesting. He didn't think that Headmaster Dumbledore would ask him to hand over the gold card.

At least, Albert's first impression of Dumbledore was good.

"What about Quidditch tryouts?" Fred suddenly asked.

"I can only apologize to Charlie." Albert looked helpless and depressed. "The Transfiguration Club is also gathering at this time. How come everything is squeezed together?"

"You've worked so hard!" Li Jordan looked at Albert with sympathy. When he saw him stand up, he asked in confusion, "What are you going to do?"

"Ask someone to tell Professor McGonagall a message." Albert said as he walked to the Ravenclaw table, came to Katrina's side, and told her about this.

Katrina looked at Albert with strange eyes and muttered: "You are really unreliable."

"You're the first one to say that I'm unreliable." Albert spread his hands and said, "If you don't know where Classroom 21 is, I'll take you there after lunch."

"Okay!" Katrina really didn't know. When she said she knew, she actually meant Isobel knew. However, she did not refuse Albert to lead the way.

When Albert returned to the Gryffindor table, he saw Fred talking to Charlie about his own affairs.

"Principal Dumbledore wants to have tea with you?" Charlie asked with a confused expression.

"Sorry Charlie, I'm just too busy." Albert said apologetically, "I might also join Professor Flitwick's Charms Club, so I'm sorry about Quidditch. Besides, I think you are the Gryffindor Seeker."

Charlie was stunned for a moment, and forced a smile. He understood Albert's implication and sighed helplessly, "Okay, I understand. I will keep the position of substitute seeker for you."

After saying that, Charlie patted Albert on the shoulder, turned around and walked away.

"I didn't expect you to refuse." Li Jordan looked at Albert in surprise. "I think you are very suitable for the position of seeker. You fly so well."

"I can only say that there is nothing we can do about it." Albert spread his hands helplessly and said, "Privileges will destroy the unity of the team."

"What if the Charms Club and Transfiguration Club meetings overlap?" Fred asked curiously.

"We'll talk about it when the time comes." Albert was very interested in the Spell Club because he also liked the "easy" magic.

"That's right, you haven't joined the Charms Club anyway." George muttered, "By the way, there is such a club in Hogwarts?"

"Yes." Albert nodded, "In fact, there is a Wizard Card Club in Hogwarts."

"How come I don't know?" Li Qiaodan was stunned and didn't react for a while.

"Stupid, there are only four of us." Fred couldn't help but cover his face.

"I don't remember when I joined." said Li Qiaodan.

"Don't you want to? Then forget it." Albert asked in surprise.

"Who said I don't want to do it anymore? When did we establish this club?" Li Jordan muttered.

“Just now.”

"just?"

"Yes, just now." Fred looked like you didn't know.

"Just now." George nodded in agreement.

"What classes do you have this afternoon?" Li Qiaodan quickly changed the subject.

"Defence Against the Dark Arts," George said quickly. "Don't change the subject."

“There’s also a History of Magic lesson,” Fred added, “and I hope the new professor will be as interesting as Professor Brod last term.

"I remember fighting a Boggart?" Lee Jordan continued.

"Battle, don't you think the word is inappropriate?" Albert shook his head. "At most, it lets us know how to drive away the Boggart instead of being scared away or fainted by it."

"You definitely know how to deal with a Boggart, right?" George said suddenly.

"I know. It's written in the book." Albert said honestly, "The spell is funny."

"Tell me, did you eat the entire copy of 'Dark Powers: A Guide to Self-Defense'?"

"You actually knew about this." Albert looked at George in surprise.

"Dip it in some sauce, right?" Li Jordan looked as if he knew it.

"Don't steal my lines." Albert complained unhappily.

Several people couldn't help laughing when they heard this.
