Chapter 177: Bogart

"The entrance to Classroom 21 is related to Gamp's basic law of transformation." Albert took Katrina to the corridor on the sixth floor of the castle.

"What is this, a test?" Katrina raised her eyebrows and looked at the portraits on both sides of the corridor. She knew that there were secret passages behind many of the portraits and tapestries.

Albert smiled and said: "If you think so, I don't deny it."

"Did you find the entrance at the beginning?" Katrina stared at Albert, seeming to be very concerned about this issue.

"I found it, but in the end it was Isobel who led me into classroom 21?"

"Why?" Katrina asked in confusion.

"Because the way to get in is a bit special." Albert asked, "How about giving it a try? Or should I just tell you where the entrance to Classroom 21 is?"

"I'll find it." Katrina glanced at Albert and began to look for the entrance to the Transfiguration Club on the sixth floor.

After more than ten minutes, the two had walked through the entire sixth floor, but still couldn't find the entrance to Classroom 21, so they returned to the original corridor.

"Okay, you win. I actually wasted my time on something like this. Where is the entrance?" Katrina bit her lip unwillingly and asked Albert about the location of the entrance to Classroom 21.

She knew that she shouldn't waste her time on such an act of anger. She must have been mad at the other party, but she didn't expect that she would be fooled.

"It's right here." Albert pointed to the portrait beside him.

"You didn't do this on purpose!" Katrina looked at Albert with a strange look in her eyes. Was this guy really misleading her from the beginning to the end

"No." Albert shook his head and denied it. "Magic can't create delicious food out of thin air."

"I know that." Katrina said dissatisfiedly.

Albert didn't pay attention to the other party's tone and said to the witch in the portrait, "We need to enter classroom 21."

The witch nodded slightly at the two of them, and the painting suddenly moved aside, revealing a hole half a person's height in the wall behind the portrait.

"To enter classroom 21, you need to tell the witch and she will open the door for you." Albert reminded.

"So, you must have done it on purpose, right? You're such a bad guy!" Katrina looked at Albert deeply, bent down and crawled into the hole.

"It's almost time." Albert took out his pocket watch, glanced at the time, looked up and said to Katrina, "I'll be leaving first. I have to attend the Defense Against the Dark Arts class later. Remember to tell Professor McGonagall when we have the party tonight."

"If I remember." Katrina muttered as she looked at Albert's departing back.

Albert arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom before the bell rang, and most of the students were already there.

Professor Rowena appeared in the classroom as the bell rang. He walked to the podium under everyone's gaze, took out the roster, and said, "I received a letter from Professor Broad. He told me about your progress. Now, what you need to learn is to understand, recognize, and know how to deal with dark magic creatures, such as Boggarts, Red Caps, Hinckley Punks, Grindylows..."

Professor Rowena glanced at the roster, then scanned the classroom to make sure that no one was missing and continued, "Today, all you need to do is bring your wands and figure out how to deal with Boggarts. Come with me. It's not easy to put it into practice. I had to ask someone to get you a Boggart from outside."

Professor Rowena led everyone out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and headed to a long-vacant classroom on the third floor. In addition to the stacked, dusty desks, there was also a box. When Professor Rowena approached the box, it suddenly shook, scaring everyone.

"There's no doubt that this Boggart is eager to come out and scare people." Professor Rowena sat down on the box, looked around calmly, raised his index finger and asked, "Now, who can tell me what a Boggart is?"

Everyone looked at each other, and finally they all focused their eyes on Albert, the meaning was self-evident.

"Well, in that case, Albert," Professor Rowena noticed everyone's actions, looked at Albert, and asked, "I think this question should not be difficult for you."

"A Boggart is a shape-shifting non-being that appears from nowhere without ever having lived, and can transform itself into something that anyone nearby fears."

"They particularly like to live in dark and narrow spaces, such as closets, gaps under beds, sinks, lockers under desks, and boxes. They like to make some noise to prove their existence."

"No one knows what a Bogut looks like when it's alone, because it will immediately turn into the appearance that person fears the most." Albert paused and continued, "Perhaps, we can try to use some special means to capture the appearance of a Bogut when it's alone."

"It's a wonderful idea. However, it requires equipment support to try it out." Professor Rowena was very satisfied with Albert's idea and gave Gryffindor ten points.

"So, can anyone tell me the best way to deal with a Boggart

"Let's go together." said Lee Jordan.

"Yes, so we are at an advantage when facing a Boggart now, because this way we can confuse it. When there are many people around, a Boggart will turn into something weird." Professor Rowena didn't care about the box shaking under his butt at all, and continued: "The spell to repel a Boggart is very simple. You just need to concentrate and force it to become an image you think is funny. But there is one thing you need to know, what really scares a Boggart away is your laughter. Otherwise, your spell to a Boggart will only change its image, but you can't completely knock it down."

"Now, without using your wand, chant the spell after me: Ridiculous Ridiculous."

"How ridiculous!" the whole class said in unison.

"Very good. Let's put this spell to the test in practice. Who wants to go first?" Professor Rowena clapped his hands and looked at the whole class and asked: "No one?"

"Me first." Albert stepped forward.

"Very good, Albert." Professor Rowena asked, "What are you most afraid of?"

"Well, actually, I'm also curious about what I'm afraid of." Albert shrugged and replied.

To be honest, Albert really didn't know what he was afraid of.

Your secret is known to others

"Okay, in a moment the Boggart will turn into something you're afraid of, and you need to imagine how to force it to turn into something ridiculous. Imagine it in your mind first, and then recite the spell." Professor Rowena was actually saying this to other students.

"Now, everyone, move back. We need to leave a wide open space for the Boggart so that it won't be disturbed by other people." Professor Rowena motioned for everyone to move back to the wall, leaving Albert alone to face the Boggart in the box.

"Are you ready?"

"Okay." Albert raised his wand and stared at the shaking box.

"One, two, three, start!" Professor Rowena used a spell to open the box.

The Boggart rushed out of the box, and the moment it met Albert, it suddenly spun around and turned into... a thick book

Not only Albert, but everyone else in the classroom was stunned and began to whisper to each other.

Many people even craned their necks to look forward, as if trying to figure out what kind of book Albert's Boggart had become.

"I can only say that Albert is worthy of his name. Even the things he fears are different from others." Li Jordan couldn't help but complain, "Is he afraid that the book is too thin and he will be finished after reading it?"

"Professor Rowena, what's going on?" George asked in surprise.

"Maybe, this only means that Albert may not be afraid of anything, so Boggart..." Before Professor Rowena finished speaking, he saw Albert walked forward and raised his hands to pat the book, trying to... well, try to open the book. Did he want to take a look at the contents of the book

That's right, Albert is trying to open the book that the Boggart turned into!

In fact, when the Boggart turned into a book, Albert guessed what the book was: The Complete Works of Harry Potter.

So, what I am afraid of is actually the fear that the plot of the Harry Potter novels will be changed

Maybe, yes, maybe, no, Albert himself couldn't be sure.

However, Albert now wants to try and see if the book can be opened and is ready to flip through the contents.

However, the items that Boggart transformed did not seem to have such functions.

"If you can't open it, what's the use of you?" Albert threw the book to the ground and kicked it hard a few times.

Everyone else in the classroom was stunned.

This is too fierce.

At this moment, they suddenly felt a little sympathy for the Boggart.

I asked you to come out and scare people, and now you've met a tough guy!

"Wait, Albert, please don't treat this Boggart so roughly. Give everyone a chance to practice." Professor Rowena's mouth twitched, and he hurried forward to stop Albert's violence.

After Professor Rowena appeared, Boggart finally escaped the fate of being trampled underfoot and turned into a corpse.

Albert couldn't help but frowned slightly, glanced at Professor Rowena next to him, and stepped aside.

"Okay! If that's the way it is." Professor Rowena sighed, raised his wand, and chanted the spell: "Funny!"

With a bang, the body disappeared and was put into a coffin.

"Albert, thank you for your help." Professor Rowena stepped aside and let Albert face the Boggart again.

The coffin turned into a book again, and the book was finally wrapped in iron sheets and turned into an iron brick.

However, no one paid any attention to the Boggart, and everyone noticed that Professor Rowena was in a low mood.

"He was a good friend of mine who died in a magic experiment." Professor Rowena said sadly, "Okay, everyone start lining up and try to cast a spell on the Boggart."

No one would laugh at Professor Rowena, and there is no doubt that the death of his best friend has dealt him a heavy blow.

Fred and George's Boggarts both turned into giant eight-eyed giant spiders. They were almost eaten by them a few months ago, which left some psychological trauma.

However, they put ice skates on all eight legs of the giant spider, causing it to lose its balance and dance on the spot, unable to stand up again. This funny scene made everyone laugh.

Lee Jordan's Boggart was even funnier, turning into a plate of Bibi Multi-Flavored Beans. However, the beans were filled with earwax, snot and other disgusting flavors, which made Fred and George laugh at him for a long time.
