Chapter 184: The Spell Club

Elsewhere, Albert and Katrina were on their way to the seventh floor, similar to the last time they went to the Transfiguration Club.

However, this time, the positions of both sides were swapped.

"No need, just tell me where classroom 17 is." Seeing Katrina was about to speak, Albert simply refused, blocking the words she was about to say.

"Are you sure? Okay, come with me." Katrina looked at Albert with resentment, and seemed a little unhappy in her heart, but still led him along the corridor.

The two stopped in front of a statue of a middle-aged witch, which was the entrance to Classroom 17.

"Alberta Tussell," Katrina introduced him to Albert. "Champion of the All-England Wizard Duel Tournament in the fifteenth century."

"In ancient times? There were only a few people in Britain at that time, and only a few wizards."

"What do you want to say?" Katrina asked.

"People need to look at the long term," Albert said, "Don't be like Tom."

"Tom?"

Albert curled his lips and said, "My cat."

"Can you say something that people can understand?" Katrina felt that this guy had something else to say, but she couldn't understand what he wanted to say.

In fact, Albert knew this person, Albert Tussel, who used the explosion spell to win the championship.

As for, how do you know this name

Of course, when I was looking for information related to the explosive spell, I came across the introduction to Alberta Tussel. Since I have a very good memory, I remembered this name.

"How do we get in?" Albert asked Katrina.

"A password is required."

"Password? You're not going to say... the password is an explosive spell?" Albert looked at Katrina suspiciously.

"You actually knew that." Katrina was stunned. She never expected that Albert had guessed it.

"It really is an Exploding Spell." Albert saw that after he said the Exploding Spell, the statue of the witch moved aside, revealing the entrance hidden behind it.

When he walked in, he found that it was actually a spacious classroom. The environment here was very similar to the Transfiguration Club, with chairs arranged in a semi-arc shape.

Well, Albert also saw an acquaintance.

"You can sit anywhere you want." Katrina said and walked towards Isobel, leaving Albert at the door.

Even so, there are actually only sixteen chairs.

Several people were looking at Albert, but he ignored their gazes and went straight to a deserted place where he sat down, waiting for the party to begin.

As three o'clock approached, people from the Spell Club gradually gathered. There were more people in the club than in the Transfiguration Club, a total of sixteen people.

Albert also found a few familiar faces, including Terence Higgs from Slytherin, the Slytherin substitute seeker who had confronted Albert last semester. He played by the rules and Albert had a good impression of him.

Another is Gabriel Truman from Hufflepuff.

"As expected, you have been invited too." When Truman entered the classroom, he saw Albert and came over to greet him with a smile.

"Isn't Professor Flitwick going to explain 'Innovations in Spells' to us?" Albert glanced at the academic magazine in Truman's hand and asked tentatively.

"How do you know?" Truman was very surprised.

Albert was speechless for a moment. He felt that the Spell Club and the Transfiguration Club were very similar.

"Don't worry. If you don't have the magazine, you can borrow it from Professor Flitwick." Truman reached out and patted Albert's shoulder to comfort him. "Besides, most of the time, we are practicing spells."

Before three o'clock, Professor Flitwick arrived at classroom 17 in advance. He stepped on a chair and stood on a very high chair to talk to everyone face to face.

"First of all, we have a new member. His name is Albert Anderson." When Professor Flitwick read out Albert's name, he suddenly let out a scream, and his body exploded, emitting countless fireworks and ribbons, which scared everyone.

The next moment, Professor Flitwick reappeared, and applause echoed throughout the classroom.

"Is this how all welcome ceremonies are?" Albert asked in a low voice.

"No, you are special this time." Truman smiled and applauded with everyone.

Professor Flitwick clapped his hands twice to draw everyone's attention and said, "Our topic today is silent spells."

"I know you are still unfamiliar with the use of silent spells." Professor Flitwick continued after everyone quieted down, "This course is basically learned in your sixth-year advanced spells class."

"Of course, silent spells are not as difficult as you think."

"What are the benefits of mastering silent spells?"

"Not reciting the spell out loud when performing magic can achieve a more unexpected effect." Professor Flitwick asked and answered his own question.

"Some wizards feel that using silent spells will weaken the power of the spell, and are reluctant to use it." Professor Flitwick grinned. "As we all know, this is just an excuse for those wizards."

Many people couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Many wizards find silent spells too difficult. That's because they lack the concentration and willpower to cast silent spells."

"By the way, I'll tell you a secret." Professor Flitwick said mysteriously, "Great wizards are usually very good at silent spells. This is one of their essential skills."

"Now, everyone, try it, use the magic you are best at," Professor Flitwick said to everyone, "Don't make any noise, just recite the spell silently in your mind. There is no point in cheating, let's get started."

While everyone was practicing, Professor Flitwick began to patrol among the group, observing the students who were practicing silently, and occasionally giving some pointers.

Albert saw Truman next to him with his mouth tightly shut, and felt like laughing. It seemed that the other party was resisting some temptation and not letting himself whisper a spell.

Albert tried his best to concentrate, eliminating all external influences, and waved his wand while silently chanting the fluorescent flashes in his mind.

Well, he succeeded.

The situation didn't seem as difficult as he had imagined, and Albert wasn't sure how much time had passed, but he did succeed in lighting the wand without saying a word.

"You succeeded?" The expression on Truman's face was replaced by astonishment. He stared at Albert blankly. He never thought that Albert could successfully use the silent glow spell so easily.

Although the Glowing Charm is not a very difficult magic, it is undoubtedly not easy to succeed, especially for those lower grade students.

"Well, it's not as difficult as I imagined. It just requires practice and more practice." Albert found that he still couldn't use the Luminous Spell without making any sound.
