It's late at night.
In the quiet corridor, footsteps could be heard faintly from a distance.
A pale light suddenly lit up at the corner of the dark corridor. However, there was no one behind the light ball, like a ghost floating in the void.
After a while, the ball of light stopped in front of the portrait of the Fat Lady. The lady, who was just about to rest, was obviously dissatisfied with being disturbed in her sleep. She opened her eyes and before she had time to ask for the password, she was surprised to find that the door behind her was opened from the inside.
"The time is just right." Li Jordan's voice came from the dark passage.
The ball of light floated into the passage, and the Fat Lady's portrait closed again, blocking the entrance to the Gryffindor common room.
The gatekeeper lady still looked as if she had seen a ghost.
In fact, the people in the corridor just now were Fred and George. They were cast under the Disillusionment Charm, so they were invisible. When the Glowing Charm was used, they felt like ghosts floating in the void.
The reason why the Gryffindor door suddenly opened was actually because the twins had agreed on a time with Lee Jordan. When they returned on time, Lee Jordan opened the door of the Gryffindor common room from the inside and let them in, so that they could bypass the Fat Lady.
"Did you get anything?" Li Qiaodan asked, rubbing his hands.
"Butter biscuits." Fred took out the oil paper bag and looked at Li Jordan with a reproachful look as he reached out to grab it. "Eat it when we get back to the dormitory."
"You must have eaten in the kitchen." Li Jordan said, smacking his lips.
This is inevitable!
After a while, the common room fell into silence again, and the footsteps of the three people gradually faded away.
The door of a dormitory was pushed open without warning.
A dark shadow was quietly approaching the figure sitting in the armchair.
"What's for supper?" the man in the armchair suddenly asked.
"Butter biscuits." said one person.
"Do you want some?" the other person asked while eating.
“It’s almost been eaten by that guy.” said the third person.
"Leave some for me." Albert took a deep breath, removed the Disillusionment Curse on the two people, picked up the cold milk tea and took a sip, then examined the Transfiguration paper in front of him that he had just completed.
"You look tired." Fred handed Albert a cup of freshly brewed milk tea, glanced at the paper next to him and said, "Why do you find so many things to do? Isn't this just asking for trouble?"
"Thank you." Albert took the teacup, but did not drink the milk tea in it. He turned his head and stared at Fred and said, "I would be more grateful to you if you didn't bite your nose to make milk tea for me."
Fred was also stunned.
George chuckled to himself because he was the one who gave the teacup to Fred.
Albert glanced at George, then turned his gaze to Lee Jordan who was eating his midnight snack and said, "Leave some butter biscuits for me. I'm a little hungry. And don't think I don't know that you want to save the last piece for me."
Li Jordan opened his mouth, but he didn't expect that he was seen through by Albert.
Not long ago, Albert upgraded his Legilimency and Occlumency skills to level two and three respectively in one go. Although the experience consumed made him feel a little painful, Albert knew that this was a necessary process.
The art of brain occlusion is like a protective shield for the mind. With this skill, he doesn't need to worry about his thoughts being easily seen through.
If Albert hadn't run out of skill points, he would have wanted to upgrade his Occlumency to level four.
This kind of protection is extremely important to Albert. As a time traveler, he doesn't want anyone to know his secrets at all.
Moreover, if he wanted to tell Dumbledore about the Ravenclaw Diadem, he would have to invest more experience and skill points in this area.
Of course, this is worth it, as Tom's Horcrux mission afterwards can provide him with plenty of experience!
"How are the wizard cards of other colleges going?" Albert reached out and took the oil paper bag handed over by Li Jordan, took out a piece of butter biscuit from it, put it in his mouth, and asked while chewing.
"Ravenclaw has confirmed more than 20 cards, while Hufflepuff has fewer, only 18." Li Jordan thought for a moment and said, "By the way, two more people are planning to join our club today, and they both hope to have their own cards."
"Yeah." Albert responded without comment.
“The three of us have started practicing the Copying Spell, which should reduce your stress.
In fact, copying wizard cards all the time is not without benefits. Albert's copying spell has been upgraded to level two.
"By the way, I've always been curious about what's in that box?" Fred raised his hand and pointed at a box on Albert's bedside table and asked.
"If you want to know, just bring it here." Albert had no intention of hiding it from them.
After getting consent, George quickly took the box. He was also very curious about what was inside. Last time, he saw Albert put the protective bracelet in it.
After the box was opened, the first layer contained three metal objects as long as middle fingers. They were beautifully silver in appearance and looked a bit like cylindrical lighters.
"It's a failed product made a while ago." Albert explained to the three people helplessly.
"What is this?" George picked up an object in confusion, looked at the pattern on the surface that looked somewhat like the sun, turned his head and asked.
"Open it and you'll know." Albert said expressionlessly.
The three of them looked at each other, and finally George pressed a button on it. Then, they saw the top of the object open, and a ball of light flew out. After the ball of light floated into the air, it suddenly emitted a dazzling white light.
"Damn, what is this?" The three were frightened by the strong light, and George even shook the items in his hand off.
"I'll call it a flash bomb for now." Albert stuffed a cookie into his mouth, bent down to pick up the item that fell on the ground and continued, "Well, it's one of the failed products. I was going to make it into a magic prop that can store light sources, but it succeeded and failed, and became a disposable consumable. Although it can still store light balls by itself, it's actually useless."
Albert actually considered whether to use it to make cheaper flash bombs.
"Damn it, I can't see."
"It's okay, it will be fine in a while." Albert comforted casually.
"Insidious, but I like it. By the way, why did you make this thing?" Li Jordan couldn't help but ask, his eyes still shedding tears.
“They all say it’s a failure.”
Albert was very depressed when talking about this. This thing was actually a failed light extinguisher.
A while ago, Albert got some help from other wizards, but the result was only a failure like this.
"Aren't you going to open a gamer's joke shop? You can use this technology to research and develop flash bombs in the future." Albert was going to reuse the waste, which was an achievement anyway.
"I don't think that's funny at all," George said dryly.
"No, no, it can blind your eyes." Fred said with a smile, "It is especially effective when used in dark places."
"This thing can be used as a defensive weapon... Well, forget it." Albert touched his chin and muttered.
Most wizards will only pay attention to their opponent's wand, so it would be fun to throw it as a flash bomb during a fight. After all, wizards don't usually pay attention to these things.
Albert was still a little worried about the items he made. If he accidentally got himself into trouble one day, that would be a tragedy.
"What about this?" Li Jordan asked, pointing to the second item.
"You'll find out once you open it." Albert continued to drink his milk tea and eat biscuits, preparing to finish the last remaining butter biscuits in the oil paper bag.
"You come!" Lee Jordan handed the thing to Fred, who glanced at Albert and turned on the switch.
"Go shit, go eat shit, everyone go eat shit." After a moment, a stunned and familiar voice came from inside.
The voice was so loud and was shouted out in a resonant voice that Fred was stunned on the spot.
"The sound will last for more than thirty seconds." Albert said.
"It doesn't seem to be of any use except to scare people!" George muttered.
"It can store sounds." Albert explained. He had originally planned to use it to store the crying sounds of the mandrake, but since it had not been tested yet, it was still unknown whether it would be successful.
After all, even Albert didn't know how the cry of the mandrake killed people. Was it infrasound, or a magical curse
Well, the latter possibility might be more likely, after all, that's more magical.
"What's this last one?"
"Don't open it, it contains a foul odor," Albert warned.
"How idle are you to make these things?" George felt that Albert was quite boring. He originally thought that Albert would make some interesting magic items, but he didn't expect it to be something like this.
"Do you know what these three combined would be?" Albert asked with a strange expression.
"What is it?" the three asked in confusion.
"Stun grenade!" said Albert.
"What is that?"
An alchemical item that can knock out people around it when thrown out.
However, Albert felt that this thing was still a bit useless, and a surprise attack might be effective.
But if the stun spell can be atomized and stored, it should be able to achieve a similar effect.
The three of them looked at each other and said that they didn't understand at all.
"What about the second floor?" Li Qiaodan continued to ask.
Albert put the things back and opened the second layer of the box, which contained various versions of protective bracelets and amulets.
"Is this the latest version?" Fred asked, pointing to the most finely crafted wooden bracelet.
"Well, no, the latest version is in my hand." Albert shook his wrist and said, "Version 3.0, its effect is like this."
Albert raised his hand and gently pushed George. Before his arm touched the other person, an invisible force pushed George out.
"I felt like I hit something," George muttered.
"It must be the Shield Charm." Fred's eyes lit up. "It feels pretty good."
"The original idea was to use a simple wand," Albert explained, which would allow me to use the Shield Charm without a wand and silently.
"You succeeded?" Fred was very excited. He certainly knew what this meant.
"Well, I guess so. But, in fact, it can only be considered a semi-finished product." Albert shook his head. The most annoying thing was that this new skill still did not appear on his skill panel.
