Chapter 207: What's your intention?

After finishing Quidditch training, the three of them went to the Room of Requirement to do that damn experiment, causing them to miss dinner and have to eat in the kitchen!

Of course, the above are all excuses that several people made up for themselves.

When they went to the hall for dinner that night, there was indeed very little food left, so Albert discussed with Fred and others and decided to sneak into the kitchen to eat.

After all, the food in the kitchen was hot and there would be enthusiastic house-elves to serve them.

"What are you thinking about?" Fred, with his mouth full of fried potatoes, expressed his confusion and puzzlement to Albert, who was holding his knife and fork in mid-air and lost in thought.

"Nothing. I was just thinking about asking the house-elf to make some potato and egg pancakes." Albert ate a piece of fried potato and couldn't help but laugh at himself.

"What kind of food is that, Mr. Anderson?" a house-elf couldn't help but ask.

"Pancakes are a very simple food, Kara." Albert smiled and told the house elf the recipe. "You can try cutting potatoes into pieces, boiling them until they are soft, and then mashing them. Then add eggs, flour, and other seasonings to the mixture, mix well, and then add a little oil to the pan, put the batter into the pan, and fry until both sides are golden brown."

"If Mr. Anderson likes it, Kara can try it!" The house-elf bowed excitedly to Albert.

"Thank you, Kara." Albert encouraged again: "I believe you can do it."

"Is your so-called potato and egg pancake delicious?" Lee Jordan couldn't help asking. After he finished his pumpkin pie, he didn't touch other food. He obviously wanted to taste the potato and egg pancake that Albert mentioned.

They all remembered that the last time Albert asked the house-elf to make scrambled eggs with onions, it was really delicious.

After a while, the house-elf brought out the fried potato and egg pancakes.

"You can put some blueberry jam on it, or any sauce you like." Albert began to spread some sauce on the potato and egg pancakes. He took a bite and tasted the familiar taste of the potato and egg pancakes.

"It's delicious." He whispered

Whether it was Kara or the other house-elves, they all had smiles on their faces.

Albert cut his portion of potato and egg pancakes in half, put them on another plate, and handed them to Kara, "Here, you guys can try the food you made."

"I'll share some of my portion with you." Lee Jordan cut his own portion in half, put it on the plate, and said to the house-elf with a smile.

"You can't eat anymore!" Fred couldn't help rolling his eyes at Lee Jordan. His mouth was full of potato and egg pancakes, which tasted really good.

"Really... Really... Great, thank you, Mr. Anderson, and this gentleman." Kara's hands were shaking slightly as she held the plate. At this moment, not only Kara, but also several house elves nearby were so moved that they were speechless.

"Sir?" Fred wanted to laugh.

"If it were you, it would be that gentleman." Lee Jordan glanced at Fred and George and said unhappily.

"Ahem, I didn't expect Albert to be interested in food." George coughed and changed the subject. Although they knew it last time, they were still very surprised to see it with their own eyes.

After dinner, when the house elves respectfully escorted him out of the kitchen, Albert suddenly said to the people around him, "What do you think? If I give Kara some balls of yarn as a Christmas gift, is that appropriate?"

"Why do you suddenly have such an idea?" Fred frowned slightly. There was almost no such precedent in the wizarding world.

"They can knit some things themselves. House-elves are good at housework, aren't they?" Albert thought for a moment and continued, "Of course, I know that the master cannot give clothes to house-elves, otherwise it means freedom, but it does not mean that house-elves cannot make other things for themselves. After all, those are not clothes given by the master."

"Although you are right, I need to remind you." George warned. "Don't confuse the house elves' minds, or they will not want to cook, and then we will all be hungry!"

"You seem to have intentions towards the house-elves?" Lee Jordan suddenly said.

"Why do you say that?" Albert asked back.

"Intuition," Lee Jordan said without hesitation.

"Well, there is something." Albert admitted straightforwardly that he had an intention, "After I graduate, I plan to see if I can kidnap a house-elf from Hogwarts and make it serve me."

All three of them stared at Albert in amazement.

"I can spend a few Galleons, and I will give it to you with the consent of the house-elf. I think Dumbledore will not refuse." Albert added, "As you know, it is impossible for ordinary wizard families to have house-elves. They are very good helpers and very loyal. Having them as helpers can save a lot of time."

"Your idea is really shocking." Fred covered his face and said, "However, I need to remind you that most house-elves only serve one family throughout their lives."

"Of course, there may be exceptions, right?" Albert didn't care much about these things. After thinking for a while, he changed the subject. "Tomorrow is Halloween. Let's go to Hogsmeade together next week. Well, let's see if we can find a black market dealer. I heard from Hagrid that there is a shop called the Hog's Head Tavern in Hogsmeade. We also need to find time to go into the woods to look for jumping toadstools. Well, we also need to go to the library to find information on how to deal with jumping toadstools."

"Aren't we going to raid Old Bat's private medicine warehouse?" George asked puzzled.

"You dare to make potions with the raw materials you got from the old bat and sell them?" Albert looked at George with an idiotic look. "If we successfully prepare them and sell them, the old bat will soon realize that it was us who did it. If he sets his eyes on us, we will be in big trouble. You don't want to be targeted by him, do you? Besides, what if there is nothing in the private medicine warehouse? Always leave yourself a backup plan."

"No." The three of them shook their heads. If Snape spotted them, they would be in trouble.

"So we're not going?" Fred asked.

"Of course I have to go, but I'll do it myself!" Albert explained casually, "I've mastered the art of brain occlusion. Even the old bat can't easily see through my thoughts, but you can't. Without the art of brain occlusion, you can't lie to the old bat. So, the best solution is that you didn't do it."

The three looked at each other, unable to understand Albert's thoughts.

The old bat would definitely not be so angry as to use Legilimency on students, especially in broad daylight. In the past, he would only use Legilimency to do some boring things, such as judging whether a student was lying.

However, since it was not you who took it, the answer he got from you was naturally no, and you did not take it, because you were just accomplices.
