Chapter 217: Trading rules

Aberforth was stunned when he heard Albert say this. He had never thought that the other party would actually use this idea. It was just that the materials needed to be obtained from the black market to make potions or magic props required complex craftsmanship and technology. It was incredible to hear it from a young wizard like Albert. Even joke props were not something a child could easily make.

However, Fred, George and Lee Jordan did not think so. They were very clear about Albert's abilities and naturally believed that what Albert said made sense. Some things could not be obtained through formal channels, so they could only go through the black market. If someone could help them in this regard, it would naturally save a lot of time and trouble.

Albert didn't intend to continue to dwell on these questions. He looked at Aberforth and asked, "How can we make the Patronus speak?"

"Perhaps, you should master the physical patronus first, and then consider this issue." Aberforth did not answer Albert's question.

"I think I will be able to master the physical patronus soon." Albert said softly, "If you don't mind, we can have a good chat about how to make the patronus speak before the thief comes back. This method of communication is very special. As far as I know, there is no relevant record in the library. If possible, I don't want to miss such an opportunity."

Aberforth narrowed his eyes. In the past, with his temper, he would have ignored the guy in front of him and would have directly kicked him out of the Hog's Head. However, Albert's peculiarity caught his attention, and Aberforth wanted to see what other surprising moves this guy would make.

"Knowledge is priceless." Aberforth said with a smile. The old man now looked like a profiteer.

"Of course, my reputation is very reliable." Albert understood what the other party meant. Didn't he just want money

However, Albert was not a sucker. He raised his hands and asked, "How much is this?"

"Okay." Aberforth quickly concealed the surprise on his face and nodded.

"But before that, you must first teach me how to make the patronus speak. After I learn it, I will pay you the other nine Galleons." Albert stated his request.

"How would I know if you have mastered it?" Aberforth asked rhetorically.

"I think it will be about this time next year. Hagrid will be our witness." Albert looked at Hagrid and said, "Whether I have it or not, I will pay you the other nine Galleons, but you must tell me how to make the Patronus speak."

"Many wizards go their entire lives without ever being able to summon a corporeal Patronus," Aberforth said meaningfully, but he agreed, finding it amusing.

He didn't understand where Albert's confidence came from, but that didn't hinder his deal with Albert.

"If they can't summon a physical Patronus under normal circumstances, it only means that they have never tried hard to practice the Patronus Spell." Albert said indifferently.

"What are you talking about? I can't understand anything." Hagrid was still a little confused about the situation.

However, Fred and his friends found it unbelievable that Albert was willing to spend ten Galleons to learn a spell from a guy who looked unreliable.

What's even more ridiculous is that they actually reached an agreement.

Mundungus didn't keep everyone waiting too long. He hurried back with a small bucket full of salt in his hand. He handed the bucket directly to Albert.

"You are very insincere." Albert glanced at the salt in the bucket and did not reach out to take it. Instead, he looked at Mundungus with a scrutinizing gaze and said, "Transactions must be based on integrity, even in the black market, so that this relationship can be maintained long enough."

"Are you making fun of me?" Mundungus looked a little exasperated, and shut up just as he drew out his wand, because he was shocked to find that his wand had been disarmed by the boy in front of him, and Fred and the others also drew out their wands and pointed them at him at the first moment, looking eager to try.

"This will require five barrels. Maybe you should change to a larger barrel." Albert still had a faint smile on his face and reminded Mundungus in a friendly manner.

"You're awesome." Mundungus took the wand thrown by Albert and disappeared through Apparition.

"Where do you think that guy got the salt from?" Li Jordan looked at the place where Mundungus disappeared, turned his head and asked Albert.

"Is this important? Nothing on the black market is clean." Albert could guess that the barrel of salt was probably stolen by Mundungus from somewhere. However, Albert didn't care about the origin of these things. He was actually buying things on the black market, so he was naturally prepared.

After a while, Mundungus came back cursing and holding a large bucket full of salt in his hands.

"Your Galleon." Albert put a Galleon in Mundungus's hand and said with a smile, "Look, isn't this good?"

When Mundungus saw Garlon, the dissatisfaction on his face disappeared.

This was a good deal for him. The salt and barrels were obtained from Muggles, and it only took him a while to earn a Galleon.

However, Mundungus soon saw something that silenced him, as Albert waved his wand and cast a spell on the barrel of salt.

After a moment, he looked up and said, "It seems that you did not use the replication spell to copy the salt."

Not only did Mundungus remain silent, but Fred and the others also looked at Albert in surprise.

"Is it strange? Not strange, after all, we are dealing with people in the black market, it's always right to be careful." Albert's tone was still calm, as if this was the way it should be.

"What if Mundungus used the cloning spell?" Aberforth asked curiously. The scene just now refreshed his understanding of Albert.

"What do you think?" Albert said with a smile.

The surroundings fell into an even longer silence, and no one thought that was a friendly smile.

"This is a cruel and ruthless guy." Aberforth thought.

"By the way, I hope you don't have any anti-tracking spell on you. If I need anything, I will contact you via owl. By the way, your name is Mundungus, right? I remember your name." As he said that, Albert took out a notebook from his pocket and actually wrote down Mundungus' name.

Mundungus couldn't help but wipe his cold sweat and cursed Albert for his insidiousness. Fortunately, he didn't think of using the copy spell just now, otherwise who knows what would have happened.

He remembered something else and rubbed his palms together. "If you need a runes snake egg, I can find a way to get it for you. Of course, the price is not cheap."

"If you get it, you can write to me. My name is Albert." Albert said, "By the way, I only want two."

"Mundungus actually agreed to it." Hagrid found it incredible.

"He can easily make money from me, why doesn't he agree?" Albert curled his lips and said, "Aren't they just doing it for money?"

"Aren't you afraid that Mundungus will cheat you with fake and inferior products?" Aberforth asked back. This situation is actually very common in the black market.

"I bear a grudge," said Albert. "If Mundungus does this, I don't mind making him understand why the flowers are so red and why the sun rises in the east."

"That's not good." Aberforth was choked. Although he didn't understand what those words meant, he already knew Albert's attitude.

"We should go back now." Hagrid said suddenly, "I'll take you back. Don't think about staying here any longer."

"Oh, Hagrid, we've got other things to do," said George dryly.

"No, you have to go back, or I will tell Professor McGonagall about this. Tell her you sneaked into Hogsmeade and she will put you in detention." Hagrid unceremoniously used his ultimate weapon.

"Let's go with you to see Lou Williams." Lee Jordan suddenly said.

"No, you have to go back to the castle now," Hagrid insisted.

"Oh, well, don't be mad Hagrid."
