Chapter 222: What does this little brat know about love?

Views:

Three days had passed since the four men had captured the jumping toadstool in the Forbidden Forest, and the correspondence between Albert and Dagworth was still continuing.

In the letter received in the morning, Dagworth mentioned that the next time they met in Hogsmeade, he would teach him how to make the Buffy Brain Awakening Potion.

Dagworth seemed to have his own house there. However, the potion master seemed to have forgotten that Albert was only in the second year and was not old enough to go to Hogsmeade.

I'll definitely have to sneak off to Hogsmeade again then.

However, it is a good thing to have someone to teach you, so that you don’t have to figure out how to prepare the Bafe brain stimulant by yourself.

After putting away Dagworth's letter, Albert began to write back to him. Dagworth's vigilance against Bafe's brain stimulant was far beyond his imagination. Perhaps this is what they mean by the more you know, the more vigilant you become.

However, Dagworth did not know that for Albert, learning to prepare Bafe's Brain Refresher was not much different from other ordinary potions. After all, there was no difference in the experience used to upgrade skills. The only difference was that the cost of practice was expensive.

Even though he had the skills, Albert didn't expect to succeed in one go, especially when preparing a potion like the Bafe Brain Stimulant, which did not allow for the slightest mistake.

“It’s a mess.”

Suddenly, voices were heard outside the door, and the dormitory door was pushed open. Fred and George walked in one after another, followed by Lee Jordan holding an oil-paper bag.

“Wow, what is this?”

As soon as the three entered the dormitory, they saw a large glass jar on the ground, with a strange blue flame burning inside.

"It's a kind of magic fire. I found it in a book a few days ago. It's quite useful for keeping warm." Albert turned his head and explained to his roommate.

"This thing is quite convenient. It's worthy of the magic fire you chose." Fred went over to warm himself by the fire and found that this thing was quite useful.

"Of course, this thing is waterproof." Albert picked up the teacup and took a sip of the hot milk tea, then looked at Fred and asked, "What a mess you just talked about."

"Quidditch practice," George replied dejectedly. "Charlie got really mad about it. He seemed to think we were going to mess up this year's Quidditch game."

"You need experience. Few people can win from start to finish." Albert consoled him. "This year's Gryffindor team has undergone a major change. Apart from those true geniuses, accumulating competition experience is an essential process. The key to victory or defeat will lie in the hands of the Seeker."

"Genius, you mean yourself?" Fred muttered.

"I didn't say that." Albert shook his head in denial.

"What kind of magic fire is this? How can you put it in a bottle like jam?" Li Qiaodan was even more curious about the magic fire in the glass bottle.

"Do you know the Guble Fairy Fire?" Albert suddenly asked.

"Don't tell me this is the Guble Fairy Fire?" George looked like he was kidding me.

"Well, I never said this thing is Gublei fairy fire." Albert shrugged.

"Tell me, what are you going to do with this thing?" Fred also took the initiative to change the subject and stopped talking about Quidditch.

Moreover, they all felt that Albert would not come up with this thing out of thin air.

"Hand warmer." Albert handed a silver metal tube to Fred, who took it and found that it was surprisingly warm.

"What's the use of this thing?" Fred asked in surprise.

"It's used for heating in winter, similar to a hot water bottle. I'm not sure how long the effect will last, but it should last more than a month." Albert thought for a moment and added, "It's safe, reliable and guaranteed."

The expressions of Fred and the other two suddenly became interesting, and they all looked like, "Are you kidding me?"

"By the way, where did you get this rocking chair? It's very comfortable to sit on." Li Jordan handed the oil paper bag to Albert, and sat down on the rocking chair. He covered himself with the wool blanket. The warm feeling made him hold back a yawn, and he suddenly felt sleepy.

"Of course it was transformed by the Transfiguration Spell." Albert opened the oil paper bag, and inside was a cream biscuit. He took a bite of the biscuit and continued, "The first thing to do when joining the Transfiguration Club is to transform yourself into a chair. It can be regarded as the entrance ticket to the Transfiguration Club!"

"You're the only one who knows how to enjoy it." The twins pulled Li Jordan up and sat on it to experience the warm feeling.

"Of course, it doesn't matter who made it." Albert took the hand warmer back from George and said with a smile, "This thing is not yet completely finished, and it's a gift I prepared for someone else. I can't lend it to you to play with."

"Someone else, is it Isobel?"

"What?" Albert almost choked on his biscuit. He looked at the three people with strange expressions in astonishment. "Why do you say that?"

"A lot of people say you and Isobel are dating?" George reminded.

"This is a birthday present for my sister." Albert couldn't help rolling his eyes and asked unhappily, "Also, who said I was dating Isobel?"

"Is it a rumor?" Li Jordan looked strange, "Someone saw you and Isobel whispering in the corridor tonight."

"It's a rumor." Albert didn't want to continue this topic.

Although Europeans usually start dating at an early age, Albert couldn't help but doubt whether these three guys knew what love was.

In his words, a twelve-year-old kid knows nothing about love.

"What are you looking at?" Li Jordan felt a little annoyed by the way Albert looked at a little brat.

"Nothing, I think it's too early to talk about love with you now." Albert said unhappily, "Besides, don't you think this is gossipy?"

He and Isobel were actually just talking about a bet, and Katrina was there at the time. Obviously someone was trying to distort the facts, as gossip-loving reporters often do.

His relationship with Isobel was still at the stage of knowing each other, not even friendship, let alone love.

"Very early? It is said that Muggles become adults at the age of sixteen." Fred said something that surprised Albert.

"You actually knew that?"

As far as Albert knew, the so-called coming-of-age ceremony was popular in Britain.

"Percy mentioned it. He has a Muggle friend."

"I remember you mentioned this last time."

"The girl became an adult before the summer vacation, and soon afterward she went to bed with a Muggle she knew. Percy was depressed about this for the entire summer." The twins revealed a piece of information that surprised Albert.

"How do you know?" Albert frowned.

"We peeked at Percy's diary." Fred winked at Albert mischievously.

"It's not a good idea to peek into someone else's diary," Albert criticized harshly. "It's not interesting or funny at all."

"We were just checking up on our family," Fred raised his hands and swore. "Really, we never did it again except that one time, and we don't read French."

Having lived in the same dormitory for so long, the three of them knew that Albert could speak many languages, and some things were even recorded in other languages, so even if they wanted to peek, they would not be able to understand.

As far as they knew, several of Albert's letters were written directly using ancient magic words, and they would not be able to understand them even if they were shown them directly.

Albert felt speechless when looking at the Weasley twins. He suddenly felt a little sympathetic towards Percy. It was unfortunate for him to have such a brother.
