Chapter 24: Enthusiastic house-elf

Views:

Near the entrance hall on the first floor of the castle, there is a door leading to the Hufflepuff common room and kitchen.

Albert took a moment to walk around the entrance hall, finding two doors next to the marble staircase and Filch's office. Filch's cat was staring at him.

"What's its name?" asked Albert.

Filch didn't answer, but picked up his cat and went into the office.

"Probably jealousy!" Albert muttered. If he remembered correctly, Filch was a Squib. He thought that since he was a Squib, he should abandon the wizarding world and integrate into the Muggle world. Why stay and seek trouble and unhappiness

Okay, now that the annoying guy is gone, which door should I choose

"Where would the kitchen be?" Albert took out a coin from his pocket and threw it on the ground. It landed on the front side, so he chose to go to the left side of the stairs.

Behind the door was the next set of stone steps, which led to a wide stone corridor. As Albert walked past, torches on the walls automatically lit up, illuminating the surrounding environment. Albert discovered that the surrounding walls were decorated with pictures of various foods.

"Good luck." Albert found a large painting of a huge silver bowl full of fruit. It was said that the kitchen was hidden behind the painting.

Enter the secret of the kitchen, on pears.

Albert gently touched the big green pear, and the pear began to squirm, giggle, and suddenly turned into a big green door handle.

"Sure enough, it's here. It seems that my luck is not bad." Albert was in a good mood. After finding the Room of Requirement, he successfully found the kitchen.

Reaching out, grabbing the door handle and pulling it open, the kitchen was as big as the auditorium above. There were many tablewares placed on the surrounding cupboards. There were also four long wooden tables in the auditorium. The positions of these tables were exactly the same as the tables of the four colleges in the auditorium above.

Some food has been placed on the table, which should be the students' breakfast. When it is time for dinner, the house-elves will use magic to teleport the food to the table above.

"Sir, is there anything wrong?" An elf spotted Albert and trotted towards him.

"The restaurant isn't open yet, so I came to check in the kitchen." Albert gave them a polite smile.

"Please follow me, sir." The house-elf grabbed Albert's hand and pulled him to sit at the table. Six house-elves hurried up, carrying a large silver tray with a pot of milk, ham, fried eggs, toast, salad, and pumpkin porridge on it.

"Thank you, little ones." Albert poured himself half a cup of milk. Although he didn't have the habit of drinking milk in his previous life, he had developed this habit over the years. Thanks to this, he became much stronger than in his previous life.

"It is our honor, sir." Perhaps someone was saying thank you to them, the house-elves all smiled and bowed to him.

Albert ate a portion of ham, fried eggs and two slices of toast, and drank a small bowl of pumpkin porridge, and his stomach was filled with food in an instant.

As he finished off the last of his small helping of fruit salad, he looked over the house-elves, all dressed, or should I say dressed, in tea towels emblazoned with the Hogwarts crest.

"I think I should go, thank you for breakfast." Albert noticed that the exploration progress had reached 7.3%.

"This is what we should do, sir." The house elf said in a sharp voice. Before Albert left, many elves gathered around him and handed him many snacks for him to take back.

"That's enough. Goodbye, little ones." Albert put four pies into a brown paper bag and stuffed it into his robe. These were for George and the other two.

The house-elves all crowded to the door and watched Albert leave. They liked the word "thank you", which made the house-elves feel Albert's respect and affirmation for them.

Following the same route he took yesterday, Albert returned to the lounge in a few minutes.

However, there was still no one inside and the ghost lady had left.

When Albert returned to the room, the twins were still sleeping, but Li Jordan had already woken up. He looked at Albert who appeared outside the door with surprise, and couldn't help asking, "Where are you going

"Take a walk and have breakfast!" Albert grinned, "Did I bring you a present?"

"What gift?" Weasley on the right got up from the bed and scratched his head with his right hand, looking like he hadn't woken up yet.

"I thought you were sleeping." Li Qiaodan got off the bed, stretched lazily and asked, "What gift?"

"Pies." Albert took out a brown paper bag from his pocket, took out a pie and took a bite, then handed the bag to Li Jordan and said, "One for each of you."

"Where did you get it?" Fred asked curiously.

"kitchen."

"Wow, you actually found the kitchen."

"You sneaked out by yourself without even asking us to come with you." Fred also woke up. If it weren't for the beds, Albert wouldn't have been able to tell which twin was which.

"Don't go brush your teeth first."

"Oh, I almost forgot about this." George put down the pie in his hand and asked curiously, "How did you find the kitchen?"

"I was just walking around and happened to find him." Albert talked about his encounter with Filch again. "His cat is very smart and will inform his owner. However, I think Filch is here to cause trouble for me."

"I bet he must be feeling very frustrated!" Fred couldn't help laughing as well. He got up and prepared to go out for a walk. Hogwarts Castle was really interesting.

The three of them got dressed, washed up and came to the Gryffindor common room. There was no one there yet. Albert lit the fire and sat on the sofa next to it. The rain outside had stopped.

"Bill and Charlie said there are a lot of secret passages in the castle." Fred said to others while eating pie.

"But they didn't tell us where the secret passage is." George complained to his brothers a little.

"Maybe they want you to explore the secrets of the castle by yourselves. That would be more interesting." Albert remembered Nick's words and comforted the two of them.

"I think so too," Li Qiaodan agreed.

"Oh, I almost forgot about this." Albert walked to the entrance and took a few photos while there was no one in the lounge. He also took a photo of the Fat Lady.

"Are you taking pictures again?"

"I'm going to send a letter home. Everything in the magical world is strange to Muggles." Albert checked the photos. He had discovered that he had acquired a new skill related to photography.

"I heard from Charlie that Filch likes to make trouble for students. He wants to hang up and whip the students who make mistakes all day long." George finished the pie and continued, "Filch also knows a lot of secret passages in the school. He always appears quietly."

"Most students who wander around at night get caught by Filch," Fred added, "and receive heavy penalty points and detention."
