Chapter 243: A real warrior

After running all the way, Fred and George were too tired to run anymore and they held onto the tree trunks and gasped for breath.

"Fortunately, the monster didn't chase us!" Fred was so tired that he sat down on the snow, looking at the trail behind him with lingering fear. They were almost bitten to death by the three monsters just now.

"I'm scared to death," George patted his chest and couldn't help complaining, "How dare Hagrid keep such a dangerous monster in the Forbidden Forest?"

"I should have listened to Albert and left earlier." Fred regretted not listening to Albert's advice and leaving earlier. "By the way, where are Albert and Lee Jordan? Didn't they leave first?"

"How would I know?" George showed a little uneasiness on his face. He looked at the snow-covered forest path behind him and said uncertainly, "They left earlier than us. They should be ahead of us."

However, there were only two footprints on the snow, which were from two people running over.

Albert and Lee Jordan were obviously still behind them, but why didn't they meet them when they were running for their lives just now

The two men fell into a brief state of mental confusion. Even if they were running for their lives just now, it is impossible that they did not notice the people on the road.

Fred and George looked at each other and said anxiously, "Are we going the wrong way?"

"Should... No way, is there a fork in the road?" Fred looked at George, hoping to get an answer from him.

"How could I possibly notice it?" George recovered, licked his dry lips, and looked at the direction that had just run over. "How about we go back and look for them?"

"Turn back?" Fred's voice rose a little. He really didn't want to face that damn three-headed monster. But... he couldn't just leave Albert and Lee Jordan alone in the forest!

"Okay, let's go back and take a look." Fred hesitated for a moment and nodded in agreement.

When the two encountered danger, they subconsciously thought that they should not abandon their friends and run away by themselves.

In fact, as long as you have a clear mind, you will realize that how could a man like Albert, who dared to break into the Forbidden Forest alone in the middle of the night and fight a group of eight-eyed giant spiders alone, get lost outside the Forbidden Forest

Unfortunately, the sprint just now caused their brains to be deprived of oxygen, and they were unable to think things through.

When Fred and George returned the same way, they met Lee Jordan who had just separated from Hagrid. This roommate had already lifted the Disillusionment Curse on his body, and was still wondering where Albert had gone.

"Why are you here alone? Where is Albert?" Fred looked at Lee Jordan, who looked depressed, and asked in confusion.

"How should I know?" Lee Jordan shrugged.

"How do you know? Didn't you leave together first?" George asked with a frown.

"We just turned back..." Lee Jordan coughed and complained, "You actually left me there alone... I turned back for your safety."

“Hehe, didn’t you notice it? Wait, you actually sneaked back and I didn’t notice…” Fred’s face was full of displeasure. These two guys must have gone back to see them make a fool of themselves.

"That monster just now was so scary..." George didn't care about that, he still felt scared.

"Are you talking about Lu Wei?"

"Lu Wei, are you talking about the monster with three heads?" Fred has gradually calmed down.

"Well, that's Hagrid's pet." Lee Jordan said with a depressed look on his face, "I was severely scolded by Hagrid just now, and that bastard Albert actually sneaked away by himself. So what were you doing running so fast just now?"

"By the way, was Hagrid there just now?" George asked depressedly.

"Of course, otherwise how do you think I survived from that monster's mouth." Lee Jordan muttered: "If you hadn't insisted, I wouldn't have..."

"Okay, stop complaining about this. Should we go find Albert first?" Fred interrupted the two people's complaints and reminded them.

"Don't worry about him, let's go back to the castle first." Lee Jordan shook his head.

"Is he really okay, anyway?"

"If we are in trouble, he will be fine." Lee Jordan couldn't help rolling his eyes at the two of them and said, "Maybe that guy is roasting snow mushrooms in the castle.

"That makes sense. He actually sneaked away on his own."

"Who do you say sneaked away?" A voice suddenly sounded beside them. The three of them looked in the direction where the voice came from and saw a figure walking out from behind a big tree. Wasn't this Albert who had disappeared inexplicably just now

"You actually hid yourself." Lee Jordan was the first to criticize Albert, "Do you know that Hagrid scolded me for a long time just now?"

"I know. Otherwise, would I be waiting to be scolded?" Albert admitted it straightforwardly, swallowing back what Lee Jordan wanted to say.

"I told you to leave quickly, but you didn't listen. Can you blame me?" Albert shrugged helplessly.

"We were almost bitten to death by that monster just now," Fred complained.

"Well, running away was a bit stupid. Next time you run away, don't leave your back to the enemy." Albert began to lecture him. "If Hagrid hadn't been there, you would have been mauled to death by the three-headed dog."

"Were you just laughing there?" Fred suddenly realized something. This guy was really mean. He hid and watched them laugh.

"Who told you to stay here? Can you blame me for being chased by a dog? No, you can only blame yourselves." Albert shook his head, as if it was all your fault.

"Aren't you here?" George's face twitched and he smiled helplessly.

"So I ran first!" said Albert.

Fred and George choked and were speechless for a moment.

"Remember not to spread this, otherwise Hagrid will probably cause trouble for us." Lee Jordan couldn't help laughing, but still did not forget Hagrid's instructions.

"We won't." Although they were being chased badly by the monster, Fred and George knew what not to say.

The four of them went straight to the kitchen, and with the help of the house-elves, they roasted the snow mushrooms they found and ate them. The taste was truly wonderful.

"By the way, is it really appropriate for Hagrid to keep that kind of monster in the Forbidden Forest?" Fred asked with some concern. After all, they would often enter the Forbidden Forest, and it would not be a good idea to encounter it in there.

That three-headed dog was really dangerous. If Hagrid hadn't been there, they might have been bitten or even killed by it as Albert said.

"Don't worry, when it grows up, it probably won't stay in the Forbidden Forest. Headmaster Dumbledore should have someone send Fluffy back to Greece." Albert muttered softly while chewing the food in his mouth.

"What if the principal doesn't know about this?" Lee Jordan asked.

"I'll write a letter to Headmaster Dumbledore and tell him about this." Albert said without hesitation.

"By the way, that monster isn't even an adult yet!" George asked in disbelief.

"Of course not. Fluffy is not that big yet. He will probably be as big as Hagrid next year." Albert had read the information about the three-headed dog. He knew that Fluffy would still be in school next year and had been borrowed by the principal to guard the Philosopher's Stone.

"I really don't understand how Hagrid can guarantee that it won't hurt anyone else." Fred couldn't help complaining. He still felt that Hagrid was too risky.

"He trained Fluffy the same way he trained Fang-Ya, and it's undeniable that this is somewhat effective." Lee Jordan witnessed the scene where Hagrid called Fluffy, so he was not worried about this problem. He suddenly remembered something, turned his head and looked at Albert, and asked with a complicated expression, "Have you really rubbed Fluffy's dog head?"

"Wow! Aren't you scared?" Fred and George were both shocked. How much courage does it take to rub the monster's head

“It wasn’t that big back then.” Albert thought for a moment and said, “It feels pretty good, quite comfortable, and it’s a good experience.”

The only thing that made Albert regretful was that he actually forgot to take a picture of this scene. It was really a miscalculation.
