Chapter 27: Back the pot

"The curse stops immediately."

Albert looked at the wooden door that was almost torn into pieces, and the corners of his eyes couldn't help twitching.

"Merlin's beard, what now?"

The three Weasleys looked at the broken wooden door, swallowed their saliva in unison, and took a step back, not realizing what had just happened.

"Should we..." Fred raised his hand and made a gesture to run away quickly, fearing that he would be caught by accident.

"Don't be silly. Powerful wizards usually use tracking and revealing magic to find out who has been here recently." Albert reached out and pressed Fred's shoulder, reminding him that it would be better not to slip away.

"Then what should we do?" George looked at Albert anxiously.

"I should be able to repair it. I remember the spell should be 'repair as new.'" Albert quickly calmed down, raised his wand and pointed it at the broken wooden door, concentrating on reciting the repair spell.

The wooden board that had been torn off its hinges flew back onto the door, and the crack slowly healed, and soon it would be back to normal.

However, before the wooden door could fully recover, it suddenly opened from the inside.

The four of them froze in place at the same time as Professor McGonagall walked out from behind the door. She looked at the wooden door that was being slowly repaired, then looked at the four people standing in front of her. The atmosphere around them suddenly became a little awkward.

"What the hell are you doing?" Professor McGonagall's face twitched, and she stared at the four people sternly. Just now, she heard a noise coming from the secret door of the office, and when she came to check, she found that the door of her office had been removed

This scene immediately shocked her.

"I'm sorry, Professor. We didn't know Open Sesame was a spell." Albert immediately corrected his attitude and apologized. "I think it was just... an accident."

"No need to say more, Mr. Anderson, come in, and the rest of you." Professor McGonagall looked at the four people expressionlessly and let them into her office.

"It was just an accident, Professor." Albert repeated softly. The twins and Lee Jordan behind him held their breath, too nervous to speak.

"It's a very good repair spell. However, Mr. Anderson, I have to remind you that Open Sesame is a lock-opening spell from hundreds of years ago. Wizards today don't use this kind of rough magic." Professor McGonagall looked at Albert and reminded him, "If you have read The Standard Book of Spells, Elementary, you will know that nowadays everyone prefers the clever Open the Door with Alachoma."

"I know. But the Alaho opening has no effect on this door."

"Because the door was cast with an anti-Aracho-Opening Charm," Professor McGonagall explained, "so your spell didn't work. This is the knowledge of the spell. I think Professor Flitwick will be happy for you to ask him these questions."

"I will."

"Don't do it again, gentlemen, or you'll be put in detention." Professor McGonagall didn't seem to intend to blame them. She turned around and took a piece of parchment from the table, handed it to Albert and instructed, "This is the first-year class schedule. Please post it on the Gryffindor bulletin board for me."

"There won't be a next time, I promise." Albert coughed lightly, took the freshman schedule handed over by Professor McGonagall, pushed the twins and Li's backs, and walked out of Professor McGonagall's office quickly.

"I'm scared to death." Everyone dared to speak only when they were far away from Professor McGonagall's office.

"We actually took down the door of Professor McGonagall's office?" Li Jordan still looked incredulous.

"I'm lucky. I didn't get any points deducted and I wasn't put in detention." Albert opened the timetable given by Professor McGonagall and took a look. The first class next Monday was Charms.

"But that's great, Albert. Your door-opening spell actually broke the door." Fred's eyes were shining with excitement.

"It was just an accident. I didn't know it was a spell." Albert picked up the wand and tapped the parchment. The original schedule was divided into two and two into four.

He divided the schedule among three people.

"There's no flying lesson until Thursday afternoon." George was a little disappointed after looking at the schedule. He was looking forward to flying in the sky on a broomstick.

"Don't you think the number of courses is a bit too little?" Albert frowned after looking at the courses for a week. Hogwarts gave him the feeling of free-range teaching.

"There are too few courses. Are you crazy?" Li Yong looked at Albert in disbelief, as if he was under some strange spell.

"In a Muggle school, there are at least half more courses." Albert thought about it and guessed the reason.

There are only a few professors in the school. If a grade has two classes a week, one professor needs to teach 24 classes (grades 6 and 7 have classes from four colleges together).

Saturday and Sunday are off, which means their entire week is filled with classes.

Now that I think about it, it’s actually not incomprehensible.

"What are you thinking about?" George asked.

"Nothing, let's go and continue looking for the classroom." Albert stuffed the schedule into his pocket and led the way towards the marble stairs.

At present, the four of them have found the Transfiguration classroom and the History of Magic classroom on the second floor of the castle, as well as an abandoned bathroom. He still remembered that it was the entrance to Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, and there was a dangerous basilisk inside.

Since it was a girls' restroom, the four of them were just passing by and had no intention of going in to avoid being misunderstood.

The exploration of the castle was quite fruitful. Near the corridor of the Charms classroom on the fourth floor, the four found a secret passage behind a tapestry. The end of this secret passage was near the armor corridor and the trophy display room.

"I think all the tapestries at Hogwarts hide secret passages," Lee Jordan joked as he emerged from the secret passage.

There is no way. The secret passages they discovered today are all hidden behind the tapestries. It is not surprising that there is such a misunderstanding.

"I dare say that most people can find these secret passages." George was a little disappointed. He hoped to find more hidden secret passages that others didn't know about.

"We'll find it. Let's go in and take a look at the trophy display room." Albert suggested. In fact, he was a little curious whether these medals and trophies were made of gold and silver.

"George, Fred." Lee Jordan pointed to a cabinet and said, "Look at this. Your eldest brother Charlie used to be the Quidditch captain and won the Quidditch trophy for the school."

"Yeah. But he only won the championship once." George felt a little depressed looking at the Slytherin trophies. Gryffindor and Slytherin have never been at odds with each other.

"Sometimes those Slytherins will do whatever it takes to get their mission done," Fred muttered. He added, "Percy told me so."

"Yes, the guys in Slytherin are the most annoying." Fred agreed. "Percy said that once Slytherin falls out of first place by a few points, they will do whatever it takes to make the second place student deduct points. Snape will favor his students and never deduct points from them. Many students in the school don't like him and always call him Old Bat."

Albert's face twitched when he heard the twins' words.

Even though it's just a joke, don't put all the blame on Percy. After all, he is your elder brother, not the scapegoat!
