The Forbidden Forest is huge, but dogs are hard to find.
Albert and Hagrid had been walking in the Forbidden Forest for more than ten minutes, but still hadn't found any clues. To put it bluntly, they were just wandering around in the Forbidden Forest.
"Hagrid, do you have any plans?" Albert felt that Hagrid, the person involved, was probably so anxious that he had no time to think and ignored many things, so he reminded him.

Hagrid understood immediately that the three-headed dog was running around in the Forbidden Forest, but it always needed to fill its stomach, which meant that Fluffy would be attracted to hunting grounds with abundant prey.

There aren't many animals in the Forbidden Forest in winter.

At first, Hagrid left food at the place where Fluffy was originally kept, and went to check it every day. Although there were signs of being bitten on the food, it was not done by Fluffy.
The two walked on the snow for a while, and Hagrid pointed to the traces on the ground and said, "There is an animal trail here. Occasionally, a deer or other animal will pass by. However, most animals drink water in the nearby river in winter. There is a spring there, so it will not freeze completely in winter."
When we arrived at the river, we did find many signs of animal activities, but we still couldn't find any footprints left by Lu Wei.

"It's me, Hagrid." The brown-red centaur walked out of the woods, his eyes swept from Hagrid to Albert, then looked back at Hagrid and said, "You shouldn't have brought a foal here."
"Ronan, have you ever seen a three-headed dog?" Hagrid asked his centaur friend expectantly.

"I've seen it, Hagrid. It's a three-headed dog. It's not very friendly and seems hungry. The patrolling centaurs drove it away with arrows. You can try your luck over there." Ronan raised his hand and pointed in a direction. That was the direction Albert and Hagrid had just come from.
Hagrid glanced in the direction of Ronan's raised finger and fell into a brief silence.
"You are half the owners here. Can you help Hagrid find his pet? I don't think you should...!" Albert tried to seek help from the centaur.
Before Albert could finish his words, Hagrid pushed him and signaled that it was time to leave.
Albert looked at Hagrid with a strange expression, but quickly shut up.
"Goodbye Ronan, thank you for the information!" Hagrid said goodbye to the centaur.
"The centaurs won't help." Hagrid waited until he had walked Albert far enough before he spoke: "Centaurs are all like that. Don't expect them to be of much help. Let's go and keep looking. I have a feeling that we might be able to find Fluffy today."
It's no use having a hunch.
Albert couldn't help but complain. He felt that if Hagrid had told Dumbledore the truth, he might have found his little pet.
"By the way, Hagrid. Do the centaurs have a wide range of activities?" Albert remembered something and asked curiously.
"Yes, it covers a wide range." Hagrid reminded, "You need to be especially careful when dealing with them. Most centaurs don't like wizards very much."
