Hagrid has been going to the Forbidden Forest quite often lately.
The three-headed dog Fluffy was hidden by Dumbledore in a cave in the Forbidden Forest. Hagrid would bring food to it every day and also take Fluffy out for a walk occasionally. This is one of Hagrid's happiest memories.
Fluffy is growing very fast. He is almost as tall as Hagrid's elbow. He will be an adult this summer, and by then Dumbledore will have him sent back to Greece.
Hagrid knew that he and Lu Wei had not much time left to spend together, and he always cherished the last time they spent together.
Today, when Hagrid came back from the Forbidden Forest carrying an iron bucket, he found traces of being hit by curses on several tree trunks in the forest. He reached out and touched them, and immediately realized what had happened.
The Weasley brothers sneaked into the forest again to practice spells and observe the distribution of spell traces around them. They also threw magic at each other in the forest.
"If I catch those two little bastards again, I'll definitely put them in detention for a week." Hagrid reached out and hammered the tree trunk, saying angrily.
Fred and George kept saying "I know" but then they turned around and forgot what they said.
Hagrid didn't want Hogwarts students to frequently go in and out of the Forbidden Forest. On the one hand, the school did not allow students to enter the Forbidden Forest. On the other hand, he didn't want rumors like there were monsters in the Forbidden Forest to spread.
We must make an example of someone and not set this precedent. If everyone likes to play in the forbidden forest when they have nothing to do, it will be a dereliction of duty for him as the game manager.
During these days, Hagrid would pay special attention to the situation in the Forbidden Forest, trying to catch the Weasley twins on the spot, and even brought Fang with him for this purpose, but the twins sneaked away time and time again.
Such a result really made Hagrid extremely depressed, and he suspected whether Albert was also involved.
The woods on the edge of the school were almost full of traces of magic. Every time he entered the woods, the other party ran faster than him. Hagrid couldn't help but wonder if he was being monitored, but he didn't feel like he was being monitored, and if he was, Fang would have reacted.
What a strange thing!
From then on, Hagrid stopped going into the woods to catch people. He always carried a pair of binoculars in his pocket and often wandered around the edge of the Forbidden Forest, trying to catch any students coming out of the woods.
However, Hagrid soon discovered that the two bastards always found a gap to sneak away, and they seemed to have cast an Disillusionment Charm on themselves, so they were too far away to detect each other, which made Hagrid certain that Albert was also involved.
Once, when Albert went to the hunting lodge to find Hagrid, he found that the other party was looking at him with resentful eyes.
Even the shameless Albert couldn't stand it anymore.
"What's wrong?" Albert couldn't help asking, "If you have something to say, just say it. I feel embarrassed when you look at me like that."
"You're still embarrassed?" Hagrid snorted in dissatisfaction, "You ungrateful people... Have you been running to the woods a lot recently? Humph, don't think I don't know that you've been helping those two little bastards plan..."
"Ahem, we've been doing homework at school lately." Albert coughed and explained casually, "You know, Easter is coming and the homework is piling up."
"Really?"
"Really not." Albert assured seriously
"Well, I believe you... I don't!" Hagrid muttered dissatisfiedly, "Just wait and see, if I catch anyone practicing magic in the Forbidden Forest, Professor McGonagall will definitely put them in detention for a week."
"Hagrid, are you okay?" Albert felt that he had to go back and change his plan. He could feel the strange persistence in Hagrid.
"Oh no, I've spent most of my energy driving the Weasley brothers out of the Forbidden Forest." Hagrid waved the rock biscuit in his hand and chewed it into pieces, as if only in this way could he discover his inner dissatisfaction.
"Hagrid, you don't want anyone to enter the forest, right?" Albert asked tentatively. Before Hagrid could answer, he continued, "Is Fluffy still in the forest?"
"You... I don't know what you're talking about!" said Hagrid dryly.
"Don't worry, I won't say anything nonsense, you know." Albert nodded to show that he understood. After all, the rumors last time were really upsetting.
"I didn't let you enter the forest because the Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest have been restless recently. I just don't want them to take the risk of death."
"Did Dumbledore say when Fluffy will be sent away?" Albert asked again.
"Summer vacation!" Hagrid said unhappily. He really couldn't understand how Albert knew that Fluffy was still in the Forbidden Forest. Did he really reveal a flaw
"What's the matter with the eight-eyed giant spider?" Albert asked.
"I don't know. It seems like we encountered an ambush. There are wizards hunting eight-eyed giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest." Hagrid frowned slightly. He obviously didn't want to see this situation.
"What's going on?"
"I don't know, they said..." Hagrid hesitated, as if considering whether to tell Albert about this.
"they?"
"Aragog said that a wizard killed its people and took away the venom and spider eggs. You may not know that the eggs of the Acromantula are Class A prohibited trade items like dragon eggs." Hagrid waved his fist angrily. He didn't like these poachers.
"For Garlon?" Albert was not surprised. Some people would do anything for Garlon, and he himself did not have a good impression of those big spiders. It turned out that more of them should die so that the number of spider colonies could be controlled.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a giant spider farm
Come over occasionally to harvest some.
"It should be." Hagrid said, "So, Aragog's group is very aggressive now, and even I am not allowed to get close."
"Hagrid, what you should worry about is not the safety of the Acromanthus, but the safety of the wizard. He might be eaten by that group of giant spiders that day. The Acromanthus is very vengeful." Albert comforted softly.
"You... this..." Hagrid was stunned.
"Hagrid, the Acromantula is classified as a magical animal. Its danger is self-evident." Albert reminded him speechlessly, "They may not be a threat to you, but to most wizards, those big spiders are quite dangerous."
"So, you don't have to worry about the Acromanthus colony being plundered by poachers. If you do this often, you will get into trouble sooner or later. What's more, Acromanthus spiders are very vengeful. Do you think they won't retaliate against the poachers?"
"It seems... that's indeed the case." Hagrid scratched his head, feeling that something was wrong, but he had to admit that Albert was right.
