"Could you have been more cautious?"
Fred looked speechlessly at the big wooden ball created by Albert with magic. This thing would represent the four people in exploring the way ahead.
"If you feel brave and ready to explore the way ahead, I don't mind." Albert couldn't help rolling his eyes and made a gesture of invitation to Fred.
"Okay, okay, isn't it okay for me to believe it?" Fred muttered unhappily. He really only believed it a little bit. Sometimes Albert's words were really accurate, and there was no harm in believing them a little.
George and Lee Jordan next to them were both laughing.
However, after being glared at by Fred, the two of them coughed lightly and changed the subject: "What do you think Gryffindor's treasure is?"
"It's probably the legendary sword of Gryffindor." Albert controlled the big wooden ball to roll forward while talking to his roommate about the sword of Gryffindor.
"Only true Gryffindor students can find the Sword of Gryffindor?" The three people's eyes lit up, and they felt that what Albert said made sense. Perhaps Gryffindor would hide the sword here.
The four of them ran into trouble not long after they started walking. A strange fog blocked their way.
Albert frowned slightly and let the wooden ball roll into the mist. When it was pulled out again by magic, the wooden ball had not changed much.
"Do you want to go in?" George asked with a frown. No matter how you look at it, the fog in front of you is very strange.
"Fred," Albert waved his wand and turned the big wooden ball into a rope that was wrapped around Fred's waist.
"What?" Fred asked, confused.
"It's time to show your courage!" Albert patted Fred on the shoulder with a smile and said, "Don't worry, if there is any problem, we will pull you out of the fog immediately."
Fred's face fell and he regretted why he had said so much just now. But after seeing the "encouraging" expressions of the three people, he still frowned and carefully reached his hand into the fog. After finding no reaction, he dived into the fog.
When Fred just stepped into the fog, he found that the world in front of him was suddenly turned upside down. He was hanging there upside down. Looking at the scene below, his hair stood on end.
Fred found that there was a pile of dense stone spikes below him. He felt that if he lifted his feet, he would fall down immediately and be pierced by the stone spikes, leaving several bloody holes.
"Hurry, pull me out!" Fred couldn't help swallowing and shouted behind him.
When Albert and the other two heard Fred's voice, they immediately pulled Fred out of the fog.
"What's going on inside?" George asked curiously.
Fred was in a bad way. He sat on the ground with his legs weak and looked like he had encountered something terrible.
Fred took a few minutes to regain his composure, then described to Albert and the others what he had seen.
George and Lee Jordan were also surprised when they heard this.
"It should be an illusion!" Albert judged, "You can try to run over there with your eyes closed."
"phantom?"
"This is a magical fog. It can last for a thousand years. It feels incredible." Albert murmured.
"Can closing your eyes block out the effects of the magic fog?"
Fred went in with his eyes closed and found that his vision was no longer upside down.
"This is probably a test that Gryffindor has left for the others." George looked at Albert and asked, "Shall we go now?"
"I'm not sure if there are other dangers on the road, so it's better not to close your eyes." Albert smiled and patted Fred on the shoulder and said, "Why, do you want to try again?"
"Why don't you try it yourself!" said Fred unhappily.
"How can a Gryffindor student lack courage?" Lee Jordan couldn't help but sarcastically remarked.
"Don't close your eyes later." Fred said viciously.
Lee Jordan hummed a little tune and turned his head away, pretending he didn't hear it.
"I don't know if I can do it by cheating!" Albert shook his head and said, "Forget it, I'll do it!"
He didn't tie a rope and walked straight forward, diving into the strange fog.
Sure enough, just as Fred said, Albert's vision was turned upside down.
There were densely packed stone cones below his head, which looked quite scary. Albert only took a glance and felt his legs trembling slightly. He finally understood why Fred was trembling when they pulled him out.
However, Albert did not intend to rush forward with his eyes closed. Who knows if there are traps on the road? If it were him, he would not let others take advantage of it.
Albert didn't look up, his eyes were fixed on the ground, and he slowly moved forward. Sometimes, even if you know it's an illusion and you are prepared, some things are still unavoidable.
It takes a lot of courage to pass this journey without closing your eyes. It is truly a test from Gryffindor.
After a few minutes, Albert gradually suppressed his inner discomfort and began to observe his surroundings. It was not completely dark around him. There was light halfway, and it was a blue flame. It was undoubtedly the Gublai fairy fire.
This upside-down corridor was very long. After walking for a few minutes, Albert discovered the trap left by Gryffindor.
"It's not that easy to pass after all." Albert secretly felt lucky.
This trap is very simple, it is a pit that you can easily jump over, but if you run over it with your eyes closed, you will definitely fall into the pit and fall flat on your face.
Albert jumped over and it took him about ten minutes to walk through this upside-down corridor. He encountered two more pits on the way, both of which were the type that could be jumped over but not avoided.
To be honest, jumping over the pit is pretty exciting. Just imagine what it would feel like to jump with your feet on the ceiling, to feel like you are flying, and to feel like you are about to fall into the stone cone below.
By the time Albert finished walking through this upside-down corridor, his legs were still shaking, but he had to admit, this was really Gryffindor, and he wouldn't have been able to get through without courage.
It would be even more troublesome if I ran over here with my eyes closed.
It’s not that easy to cheat.
Don't you have any courage to set your sights on Gryffindor's treasure
Go back to where you came from.
Albert was thinking about how to tell Fred and the other two about this. He was a little worried that they would close their eyes and dive into the fog, and end up falling into the pit.
Finally, Albert found a way to break the deadlock. He took out a broom from the traceless stretch bag and flew backwards through the upside-down corridor.
Yes, it's that simple.
Flying on a broomstick is actually not a strange thing. He believes that Fred and George can do it. As for Lee Jordan, he can fly by himself or find someone to fly with him.
Although Albert felt that Fred and the others should pass the Gryffindor test on their own, it was none of his business what choice the three would make.
