While the few people were talking, the train had already left London and sped through the fields, leaving behind white smoke drifting in the wind.
In the carriage, Fred and George were telling Albert about their gains during the summer vacation. The twins originally wanted to try to crack the fireworks so that they could develop their own fireworks, but unfortunately funding limited their research.
"Your knowledge accumulation is not enough!"
Albert broke the twins' unrealistic fantasies, "Many things are difficult to achieve results."
In fact, Fred and George said this because they hoped Albert could help them study. They knew what they were lacking, but as long as Albert was willing to help, many problems would no longer be problems.
Just then, there was a noisy crunching sound in the aisle. Albert opened the door of the carriage and walked out to buy snacks from the witch who was pushing the cart.
Although Daisy helped prepare the sandwiches, it did not affect Albert's interest in buying snacks, after all, he had Galleons!
Lee Jordan also bought a box of Beebe's Every Flavour Beans and four bottles of pumpkin juice. As for Fred and George, they planned to leave the Galleons for the shop in Hogsmeade.
At lunchtime, Fred pulled out a bulging cardboard box, opened it and filled it with sandwiches.
"Beef sandwich." George reached out and picked up a piece from the paper box, took a bite, and muttered, "It's a bit dry, though."
"Don't look at me, I didn't bring any food, but I have this!"
Lee Jordan divided the four bottles of pumpkin juice he had just purchased.
Albert also took out his share, a ham and egg sandwich, plus the pumpkin pie and meat pie he had just bought. They put the food on the table and shared it together. They didn't plan to eat too much, as they would have a big meal after going to school anyway.
While a few people were eating, someone knocked on the door of the carriage.
When Fred opened the door, he saw a round-faced boy standing outside.
"Excuse me..." the boy said uneasily, "I want to ask... have you seen my toad?"
"No, you can look somewhere else." Albert replied. He remembered what this man's name was. He seemed to be Potter's roommate, and he was the guy who killed Voldemort's Horcrux snake with the sword of Gryffindor.
"Which college do you think he will be assigned to?" Fred suddenly asked after the carriage door closed again.
"Hufflepuff," Lee Jordan said without hesitation.
"I think he'll go to Hufflepuff, too," George agreed.
"It definitely won't be Slytherin." Albert said, "Probably one of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff."
"Gryffindor?" Fred raised an eyebrow. "I think he looks lacking in courage."
"I think you have a misunderstanding of courage." Albert raised his eyebrows and said, "Although he is very nervous, he is still in such a strange place, looking for his toad in each carriage. Isn't this a kind of courage?"
The three of them looked at each other, and finally decided that they should not debate with Albert. Based on past experience, they knew they could not lose the debate with Albert.
After lunch, Fred played two rounds of Wizard Cards with Lee Jordan, George was still trying to get his hands on Tom, and Albert was reading the contents of the Golden Book, considering the possibility of making a two-way mirror.
At this time, someone knocked on the carriage door again.
This time it was a little brown-haired girl, and she was accompanied by a round-faced boy who had lost his toad.
"Has any of you seen a toad?" she said to the people in the carriage. "Neville has lost a toad."
Hermione Granger
Albert glanced at the last of the three saviors and secretly compared him with his sister.
Well, after all, my sister is cuter.
"No." Albert said, "You can look for it somewhere else. If you really can't find it, go to the student union president for help and ask him to help you use the Flying Spell to summon the toad."
"Oh, thank you." Hermione was stunned for a moment and nodded to express her gratitude, although she didn't understand what Albert said.
After the door closed, George suddenly asked, "I thought you would help him."
"Let the student union president do it. Otherwise, what are they doing?" Albert curled his lips and changed the subject, "Which college do you think she will be in?"
"Ravenclaw."
"I also think it might be Ravenclaw." Lee Jordan said, "It is said that people who are sorted there have a bit of a strange personality. Then again, many people thought you would be sorted into Ravenclaw."
"What do you think?"
"Ravenclaw. Of course, it could also be Gryffindor." Albert said casually, "Why do you want to be sorted into Gryffindor?"
"Because we think it's the best place, and our whole family is in Gryffindor." George said after thinking for a while.
"Dumbledore was from Gryffindor," Lee Jordan added.
"That's the reason," Albert said. "Gryffindor gave birth to a great Dumbledore. Just like many people don't want to go to Slytherin, the mysterious man has made most Slytherins notorious."
The three of them couldn't help but twitch their faces. Albert's explanation made them feel that it made so much sense.
They said no more about the matter. An owl brought today's Prophet, and Albert opened the newspaper and read the latest headlines.
Rita Skeeter mocked the Ministry of Magic in the newspapers because their inability to allow a habitual smuggler to escape successfully and several wizards were injured and sent to hospital during the pursuit.
Albert flipped through the newspaper and found that there was no longer a reward for Rowena Smith in the newspaper. Presumably, they had given up.
After all, as an insider, Gerber Smith's reward was just a statement.
"Have you finished reading? I want to take a look at the sports section." George said when he saw Albert close the newspaper.
"If you need it in the future, you can place an advertisement in the Daily Prophet. I just don't know how much it will cost per time." Albert muttered. He didn't know much about the wizarding world.
"I know that. I've asked my dad. Ads that take up most of the page are very expensive." George pointed at the Nimbus 2000 ad and said, "One costs hundreds of Galleons. Others like this are very cheap."
He pointed to an ad that took up only a small corner of the newspaper. The ad had only one sentence: "Mrs. Skoll's All-Purpose Magic Stain Remover: Removes Stains Easily!"
Just then, the carriage door was knocked again.
Fred opened the carriage and found that the fat kid with a round face was standing outside the carriage.
When the four of them turned their heads to look, the boy seemed very uneasy.
"We can't find Neville's toad, can you please..."
"Can you help me find a toad?"
"Yes, use the flying spell you just mentioned."
"Didn't you ask the Student Union President for help?" Albert raised his eyebrows. Seeing that the two did not speak, he picked up the wand from the table and cast a spell, "Neville's toad is flying over here."
After a while, a toad flew in through the window.
"Raifo, thank God!" Neville shouted ecstatically, stretching out his hands to protect the flying toad.
"God is too busy to help you," Albert said jokingly.
"Why did a toad fly in through the window?" Hermione asked puzzled.
"The toad just flew over from another car." Albert turned his head to the round-faced boy and said, "If you don't want to lose it again, you'd better put it in a cage."
