Chapter 361: The fourth floor of the castle holds a secret

As expected, Harry Potter was sorted into Gryffindor House and was warmly welcomed by everyone.

Albert even suspected that if he was not still in the branch, with the professors in the guest seats watching, everyone would have probably gathered around him, vying to shake his hand and chat with him.

Not long after, Ron, the second-to-last student and Fred and George's younger brother, was also sorted into Gryffindor. He sat next to Potter and became the envy of countless people.

After the sorting was over and Dumbledore gave a brief speech, the dinner officially began. The empty golden plates and goblets were suddenly filled with a large amount of food and drinks.

Looking at the pile of food in front of him, Albert felt hungry, and he quickly added some of his favorite food to his plate.

Just as he put the cut roast beef into his mouth, Fred asked curiously, "What does Professor McGonagall want you to do?"

"About the class schedule."

After swallowing the food in his mouth, Albert smiled and said, "Some of the courses may be repeated. I need to use other special methods to catch up with all the courses."

"Split you in half?"

Lee Jordan mumbled indistinctly through his mouth full of food.

"You actually guessed it." Albert said in surprise.

He quickly finished the roast beef on the plate and added a piece of fried pork chop to it. Glancing at the suspicious expressions of the others, he said with a smile: "If you don't believe me, you can ask Percy. He has been using his clones to catch up with all his classes."

"Damn clone." Lee Jordan didn't believe Albert's nonsense at all.

"It's indeed a clone, right, Percy!" Albert said to Percy.

"Well, in a sense it's a clone." Percy, who was discussing Transfiguration with Granger, looked up and noticed that many people's eyes were on him. He nodded in agreement helplessly.

"Then when will you teach us? If we can have a clone, it will be much easier to do homework in the future." George's eyes lit up when he heard this, and he couldn't help but look at Albert.

"You won't be able to learn this trick unless you are prepared to take all the courses." Albert stopped the others from asking questions, added two more grilled sausages to his plate, and said with a smile, "Also, don't think of using your clone to do your holiday homework for you. There is no such thing."

Everyone was silent.

What’s the point of a clone if it can’t be used to do your holiday homework

The topic was quickly diverted, and everyone else focused their attention on going to Hogsmeade at the end of October.

Lee Jordan saw Albert buried his head in his food, so he raised his eyebrows and asked, "You didn't forget to ask your family to sign, did you?"

"Albert is not you!" Fred looked at Lee Jordan and said speechlessly.

"I suddenly remembered that I haven't learned the spell from last time yet."

As he spoke, Albert took out a small notebook from his pocket and flipped through the records on it. He found that he still had a lot of things to do and suddenly became depressed.

"Which spell?" Lee Jordan asked puzzledly.

"That one!" said Fred, grinning.

"Oh, that's it. I thought you had mastered it."

In fact, George had forgotten what spell Albert had said, and he thought Fred had probably forgotten it too, but that didn't stop them from making fun of Lee Jordan.

"that?"

Lee Jordan swallowed the fried potatoes in his mouth, looked sideways at Fred and George, and suddenly said, "Don't think I don't know. You have forgotten it yourself."

Using the Patronus Charm to deliver messages is difficult, especially if you have to figure it out on your own.

Albert originally thought that he would be able to master it before the holiday last semester, but after practicing for more than half a year, his skills and experience in the Patronus Charm have indeed improved a lot, but he still couldn't master how to let the Patronus deliver messages.

He still remembered that he gave Aberforth a sum of Galleons as tuition for this, but in the end he was not able to learn it. It was such a loss!

Thinking of this, Albert became even more depressed. He stuffed a large piece of fried potatoes into his mouth, ready to turn his depression into appetite.

It was a sumptuous meal, and everyone filled their bellies with joy, while the hall echoed with laughter and the clinking of knives and forks.

The banquet lasted for more than an hour. After the chocolate muffin in front of him disappeared from the golden plate, Albert took out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the corners of his mouth.

At this moment, Dumbledore stood up again from the guest of honor seat: "Now that everyone has eaten and drunk enough, I want to say a few more words."

Everyone looked at Dumbledore, and the noise in the hall gradually quieted down.

“There are a few things to keep in mind before the semester starts.”

The few things that Headmaster Dumbledore mentioned were nothing more than that: students were not allowed to enter the Forbidden Forest, students were not allowed to use magic in the corridors, and the Quidditch team registration was done by Madam Hooch...

Albert felt that Dumbledore looked over here when he said the first point.

Well, they did go in and out of the Forbidden Forest frequently.

However, Albert didn't want to go into the forest this year. After all, Voldemort was hunting unicorns in the forest, and he always felt that the Forbidden Forest was not safe.

There was no way. Albert didn't want to meet that kind of guy in the Forbidden Forest at all. He might become a missing person.

Fred and George didn't really take it seriously. They heard this kind of talk every year at the beginning of the school year.

“… I must tell everyone that anyone who does not want to suffer an accident and a painful death, please do not enter the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor.”

When Dumbledore said this, many people couldn't help laughing, and Harry Potter was one of them.

Fred and George looked at each other and began to whisper.

"The corridor on the right side of the fourth floor? I've been there before, and it doesn't seem to be anything special."

It was no wonder Fred thought so, they had indeed been to that place before and had ambushed Slytherin students there.

That's where the sad story of a certain Slytherin student whose head was stuffed into the toilet began.

George nudged Albert with his arm, wanting to hear what Albert thought.

"I guess the principal made some changes there and put something dangerous there." Albert muttered.

However, Albert felt that by saying this, Dumbledore was clearly telling them that there was a secret in the right corridor of the fourth floor and was encouraging everyone to go and take the risk!

After all, it is better to unblock than to block.

This is indeed the case in Albert's opinion. He believes that many people will be interested in this and then be scared away by Hagrid's three-headed dog pet.

They would think that the danger Dumbledore was talking about was the three-headed dog.

Even if they find a trapdoor guarded by a three-headed dog, they will eventually give up because they cannot get past the three-headed dog. After all, no one wants to be bitten to death.

"I think what you said makes a lot of sense." Lee Jordan said excitedly, "When do you think we should go over and take a look?"

"Let's talk about it when we have time!"

Albert put his hand up to hide a yawn and began to lip-sync the school song with everyone.

After the banquet, everyone went their separate ways.

As for the freshmen, they were led to their respective colleges by the class leaders.

Albert, Fred, George and Lee Jordan followed the other Gryffindor students up the marble stairs. At this point, everyone was full and didn't want to move, but they still had to walk along more corridors and climb more stairs to reach the entrance of the Gryffindor common room.

However, Albert and his three companions secretly passed through a secret passage halfway and arrived in front of the portrait of the Fat Lady in advance.

"I heard that Harry Potter came to Hogwarts?" asked the Fat Lady.

"Yes, and he was sorted into Gryffindor. You will see it later." Albert said.

"Do you know what the password is?" Lee Jordan suppressed a yawn and interrupted Albert and the Fat Lady's conversation. He didn't want to stand here and listen to their idle chatter.

Albert noticed that everyone else was looking at him, shrugged helplessly and asked, "Didn't you ask Percy?"

"I thought you asked."

"I think you know that, too."

"Okay, the password is Long Zha." Albert did ask.
