Chapter 398: Suspect

"It looks like you've made a new friend!"

Albert walked past Hermione and spoke softly.

Hermione suddenly raised her head and looked at Albert's receding back with a complicated expression.

"What's wrong with you?" Ron asked puzzledly, following Hermione's gaze.

"Nothing." Hermione shook her head and looked away again. At this moment, she suddenly remembered the prophecy Albert had given her.

Before winter comes, you will no longer be alone.

The prophecy came true!

I have indeed found a good friend.

"Do you think Anderson can really predict the future?"

"Why do you think so!" Harry asked in confusion. To be honest, Harry knew basically nothing about prophecies.

"Last time, he told me that I would make good friends before winter comes." Hermione hesitated, but finally spoke under the two people's puzzled gazes.

Harry and Ron looked at each other and noticed the confusion and puzzlement in each other's eyes. Neither of them understood what Hermione meant.

Maybe a coincidence

Also, is this also a prophecy

At least, Harry and Ron both thought it wasn't a prophecy.

The prophecy should be something very noble, both of them felt so.

"I don't know." Ron hesitated and said to Hermione, "I don't think he can predict the future. It is said that there are very few wizards who can predict the future. But Fred and George think Anderson can predict the future. You know, they are good friends."

"I've heard about this, and many students think Albert is just speaking casually." Harry recalled the news he had heard before and said to his two companions, "Everyone thinks Anderson likes to say some ambiguous words to achieve the effect of prophecy."

Hermione felt that Harry was right.

Of course, Harry couldn't be sure whether Albert would predict it or not.

"Harry, do you remember what Anderson told you?" Ron suddenly remembered something and looked at Harry and said, "It was the warning."

"What warning?" Harry was confused and had no idea what Ron was talking about.

"Regarding the Quidditch warning, didn't he say that you had to be extra careful and not put yourself in a difficult position?" Ron reminded.

"Oh, that!" Harry remembered that this incident did happen. "But is that a prophecy? I don't think so. Didn't Wood say that a Slytherin student might... prevent me from playing in the game?"

"They don't know how good you are at Quidditch, but Albert seems to have confirmed that you will be good at it." Hermione recalled carefully and suddenly said, "He seemed to have said that if the Gryffindor team wants to win the Quidditch Cup this year, there will be some twists and turns."

"Hermione, don't listen to him." Ron didn't want to dwell on this kind of thing at all. He thought Anderson was just talking casually, so why did Hermione believe it

"Albert really said that?"

Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded beside Harry.

"What?"

"Albert really said that there would be twists and turns in our winning the Quidditch Cup?" Angelina asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I think I did."

"Harry, you should pay attention to your own safety." Angelina looked at Harry and said seriously: "Since Albert said you have to be careful, it means that the so-called twists and turns may happen to you."

In fact, Angelina didn't believe in prophecies, but Fred and George always said that Albert's words were very accurate, and the three of them believed that what Albert said was very likely to come true, so she felt that there would be no harm in believing it a little.

Harry looked at Angelina's back and became even more confused. Could he really predict the future

"Oh, by the way, there is something." Ron suddenly remembered something and whispered to his two friends, "A few days ago, I heard Fred and George talking about Snape's limp."

"Snape is lame?" Harry was very interested in this. Snape's misfortune was the source of his happiness.

"They said Albert said on Halloween that Snape would be unlucky and bleed." Ron shrugged, "The next day, Snape was found to have been bitten by a dog."

"Snape was bitten by a dog?" Harry asked excitedly. "How was he bitten by a dog?"

"What do you have in your hand, Potter?"

An extremely cold voice sounded from not far away. When Harry turned his head, he saw Snape limping towards him with a bad look on his face. It was obvious that he had heard what Harry had just said: Snape was bitten by a dog.

"It's 'The Origins of Quidditch.'" Harry showed the book to Snape.

"Library books are not allowed to be soiled," Snape pointed at the biscuit crumbs on top and said coldly, "Gryffindor is deducted five points."

"Was his leg really bitten by a dog?"

Harry was very unhappy that Snape was finding an excuse to deduct Gryffindor's points, but he was more curious about how Snape was bitten by a dog.

"Where did the dog come from in the school?" Harry was even more confused. "Could it be Fang?"

"I don't know. But I think he's in a lot of pain, that's great." Ron said gloatingly. In fact, he didn't care what happened. Snape's unfortunate appearance after being bitten by a dog could make him happy for a day.

"Don't forget, there's a big dog in the restricted corridor on the fourth floor." Hermione reminded him. She hadn't forgotten the big dog, and she was scared to death by it at the time.

"I see. I see." Harry jumped up and noticed that he had attracted many surprised looks. He lowered his voice and said, "Remember when the troll broke into the school on Halloween?"

Ron was stunned for a moment, as if recalling what happened a few days ago.

Harry had already gone on, "We saw Snape heading for the third floor by himself. I'd bet my broomstick that it was Snape who let the troll in to distract the professors and take advantage of the opportunity to ..."

"You mean, Snape wanted to pass by the big three-headed dog. When we saw Snape, he was about to go to the restricted area on the fourth floor, trying to steal the thing guarded by the big dog?" Ron said suddenly.

"No - he won't," Hermione didn't believe Harry and Ron's judgment, "I know Snape is indeed unpleasant, but that doesn't mean he is stupid. And I don't think Snape can steal something that he has carefully collected under the nose of Headmaster Dumbledore."

"Honestly, Hermione, you always think that all teachers are... saints." Ron had absolutely no good feelings towards Snape.

"No, that has nothing to do with this matter," Hermione noticed the expression on Ron's face and said helplessly, "Please, Ron, use your brain and think carefully. Why did Headmaster Dumbledore dare to leave things in Hogwarts School? Could it be that the headmaster has not considered this problem and will not take any precautions?"
