"Hagrid?"
Albert reached out and knocked on the wooden door of the hunting lodge.
After a while, there were some noises coming from the room. When the wooden door just opened a crack, Yaya poked his head out first, and ran around Albert excitedly, wagging his big tail.
"Come in, I have something to ask you."
Hagrid seemed to have not slept all night. His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was messy. He opened the door with a slightly hoarse voice.
"Are you ill?"
Albert couldn't help but raise his eyebrows and asked when he saw Hagrid's appearance.
"No, I just didn't sleep well last night."
After Albert entered the room, Hagrid stuck his head out of the door and looked around. After making sure that no one was there, he closed the door again. He also pulled the curtains on the window. There was a blazing fire in the room, and the copper kettle on top was steaming. On the table was Hagrid's favorite rock cake.
"You didn't stay up all night because of Nicolas Flamel!"
Albert took off his cloak, shook off the snow on it and hung it on the hanger next to him. He squatted down and began to rub Yaya's dog head without even looking at Hagrid's expression at the moment.
In fact, Albert knew that the expression on Hagrid's face was very interesting even without looking.
In fact, Hagrid's face was full of surprise. He didn't expect Albert to talk about this matter directly.
"Harry came to see you yesterday." Albert said with certainty.
"How do you know?" Hagrid blurted out almost without thinking.
"The day before yesterday, the three of them asked me about Nicolas Flamel, but I didn't tell them." Albert didn't care about Hagrid's surprised expression. He pulled out his wand from his pocket and waved it at the boiling copper kettle on the fireplace. The already boiling copper kettle immediately flew over and began to automatically make tea in front of them.
"Then how do you know that the thing hidden in the school is the Philosopher's Stone?" Hagrid asked in a low voice.
"Because Harry was talking about Nicolas Flamel."
"I don't believe it." Hagrid looked at me with a look that said, "Don't fool me."
"Nicolas Flamel and Dumbledore are friends, as recorded on the Chocolate Frog card." Albert saw Hagrid's suspicious expression, picked up his teacup and took a sip, then said with a smile, "Well, actually Nicolas Flamel and I know each other. I just stayed at his place for a few days this summer vacation. Dumbledore took me there. I heard that he was in some trouble... Well, you know, some things are not difficult to guess."
At this moment, Hagrid was stunned. He just stood there stupidly, as if he didn't know what to do.
"What did you say just now?" He seemed not to understand Albert's words and asked again.
"I said Nicolas Flamel and I are friends, so you don't have to worry that I will try to get the Philosopher's Stone." Albert raised his head, looked at Hagrid helplessly and said, "Actually, you don't have to worry at all. Even if I really want to get the Philosopher's Stone, do you really think I can hide it from Dumbledore, successfully snatch the Philosopher's Stone and escape?"
Hagrid's expression froze instantly.
yes!
Is it possible that he really stole the Philosopher's Stone and ran away? Then can I still go to school
Furthermore, is it really possible to steal the Philosopher's Stone and run away
Obviously unlikely.
This is Hogwarts!
"One more thing, Hagrid, how do you know that the Philosopher's Stone is real?" Albert looked helpless. "You already know that someone is eyeing the Philosopher's Stone, would you still use it as bait?"
"Bait?" Hagrid was a little confused and felt that his IQ was not enough.
"Of course, to lure out the thief who wants to steal the Philosopher's Stone." Albert said as a matter of course.
"But... wait, you said thieves. Dumbledore put the Philosopher's Stone in the school to lure thieves in?" Hagrid was confused. He had no idea what this was all about.
"It should be that the You-Know-Who or his minions have set their sights on the Philosopher's Stone, so Dumbledore plans to use the Philosopher's Stone to lure it out." Albert briefly stated his guess. "As for whether the Philosopher's Stone is real, it is really hard to say. After all, most people have never seen the Philosopher's Stone, and even if it is fake, they probably can't tell."
"Are you saying that the Philosopher's Stone in school is fake?" Hagrid's hands were shaking slightly.
"I don't know either." Albert shrugged and said it was just a guess. Since he knew someone was going to steal it, why would he take the real risk
There is absolutely no need for this!
"You're right, I actually..." Hagrid was about to say something when he saw Albert made a hushing gesture and pointed outside the window. Hagrid walked over in confusion and heard footsteps when he opened the window.
He was stunned.
"It was Harry and the others. They targeted me when I arrived." Albert opened the task panel, and there was a task about crisis of trust which showed that it had been completed.
This task appeared when he received Hagrid's letter yesterday. The content was roughly that Hagrid had doubted him because of the Philosopher's Stone, and he needed to make Hagrid dispel his doubts. The experience of the task was only 500, plus 10 points of Hagrid's favorability.
"You mean Harry?" Hagrid's face changed, and at this time there was a knock on the door.
"Don't worry, they just arrived." Albert said calmly.
Hagrid was relieved. When he went to open the door, he saw Harry, Ron and Hermione all wearing cloaks outside.
"Come in!" he said slowly.
There was a hint of embarrassment on the faces of the three.
"Albert, you should know each other." Hagrid introduced. "These three are Harry, Ron and Hermione."
"We already know Hagrid," said Harry dryly.
"Okay Hagrid, I'm leaving first. I'll come over for tea with you another day." Albert picked up the cloak and put it on himself. After nodding and greeting Harry and the other two, he left on his own.
"What is he doing here?"
"Discuss something." Hagrid looked like he didn't want to talk any more.
"About Nicolas Flamel?" Hermione asked tentatively.
"This matter has nothing to do with you. Okay, damn it, forget about Nicolas Flamel." Hagrid said helplessly: "I hope you didn't come to me for this matter. Don't say yes out of curiosity, that will kill you."
"What?"
"Curiosity kills the cat," Hagrid said, taking a sip of his tea. "I don't want to discuss this anymore."
"Sorry Hagrid." Hermione noticed Hagrid was upset and apologized immediately.
"Don't think too much about some things. Do you think someone can steal something that Dumbledore left in the school, or do you intend to take it?" Hagrid looked at the three people with a critical look. "I don't want to say anything else, but I don't want you to doubt Dumbledore's judgment. That would only insult your intelligence."
Harry originally wanted to say something, but after meeting Hagrid's gaze, he felt a little guilty and quickly shut up. Hermione and Ron both looked a little embarrassed.
