"So, they have compromised?"
When Fred told Albert the good news, he was indeed a little surprised. He had originally thought that the group of Slytherin diehards would grit their teeth and hold on for a while longer.
"One of them came to us and said that they were willing to pay back the Galleons they owed, but they were not willing to pay back four times the odds. They were only willing to pay half." George added: "That group of people thought four times the odds was too much."
Albert was silent for a moment, then said to Fred, "Go ask other people for their opinions and see if they are willing. If they are not willing, just reject them directly."
"Are you going to agree to it?" Lee Jordan looked at Albert in surprise while eating the multi-flavored beans he bought from Honeydukes Candy Store last time. "I think those Slytherin guys have bad intentions."
"I know."
"If you know that, why do you still..."
Albert raised his hand to interrupt Lee Jordan and calmly expressed his guess, "Perhaps, they just want to split this debt collection team into pieces. After all, after they pay back the money, they will come after us one by one. They have suffered a lot, so it's probably a lie to say they don't want to seek revenge from us."
"Then what should we do? Why not just refuse? We can get the four times the bet back slowly." Fred was a little anxious. He didn't want to disband this debt collection team. With this group of people, they would not be afraid of those annoying people in Slytherin.
"No, let them choose for themselves." Albert shook his head. "Even if we don't agree, others will definitely agree. Why do we have to be the disgusting villain?"
The three of them were silent. They knew what Albert meant. The purpose of forming this debt collection team was to get their money back. It would be unreasonable to refuse.
"Give them the right to choose, let them suffer a little loss, and then you should be careful next time."
"Suffer a loss?" Fred frowned, "Are you going to watch them die?"
"Your statement is a bit exaggerated. Just tell them my analysis." Albert really didn't care about those people. After all, the mission was completed and the reward was obtained, he didn't care about what happened to others.
"All right."
"Then I'll leave it to you."
Albert continued to study the research report on the tracking spell in his hand.
If he can't arrange Tom's diary next year, Albert will stay away from Ginny Weasley, so as not to be taken away by the basilisk accidentally.
It didn't take the two sides much time to reach an agreement. Fred gave the remaining Galleons to Albert, and the wizards who had originally joined the debt collection team also got their money back. Although it was only half of the winnings, the matter was over and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
As for the other students who are still in debt, it naturally has nothing to do with them.
…
The Christmas holiday was approaching, and Albert packed his luggage and went downstairs with Lee Jordan.
“I really feel bad for those people.”
As they passed through the entrance hall, they heard a blond boy telling his companion, "They have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because their families don't want them."
As Malfoy said this, his eyes were fixed on Harry Potter, with a hint of undisguised sarcasm at the corner of his mouth.
Fred, who was helping Albert carry the cat cage, frowned slightly, and George had an expression of disgust on his face, as if he had seen something dirty.
"Congratulations Potter, you have gained another supporter."
When Albert passed by Harry Potter, he stopped and put his arm around Harry's shoulder, motioning him to look in the direction of Malfoy, "Get along well with him. He is your loyal supporter. He has gone to great lengths to attract your attention."
Ron, who was standing next to Harry, couldn't help but burst out laughing when he heard Albert's words.
"Is there anything funny?" Albert looked at Ron, who immediately tried hard not to laugh out loud.
"No."
"You have to get along well with your new friends."
Albert glanced at Malfoy, whose face was flushed, took the cat cage, and walked towards the carriage parked outside the castle, leaving behind the laughter and the strangely furious Malfoy.
"I bet you did it on purpose." Lee Jordan kept laughing as they walked to the station.
"Isn't it? I saw Mr. Malfoy was moving up and down, obviously trying to attract Potter's attention." Albert scratched Tom's chin with his hand and said nonsense seriously.
: "Isn't it because he is a supporter of Harry Potter and wants to attract his attention?"
"What you say is so true." Lee Jordan laughed even harder.
After getting in the car, Tom occupied the table and slapped his tail on the table, as if urging Albert to take out the dried fish quickly.
As for Albert's Sheila, she had stayed behind when a letter was delivered home a few days ago, to prevent the two pets from fighting when they met.
The two had just played two games of Wizards cards when there was a knock on the door next door. Standing outside the door was an old acquaintance of the two, Kenneth Toler. This guy had a gloomy face, as if something bad had happened.
"What's up?" Lee Jordan asked as he shuffled the cards.
"Flint tried to take off my underwear." Kenneth Toler's face looked ugly.
"It's not hard to guess." Albert said calmly, "After all, you paid someone to take off his pants, so it's not hard to understand that he wants your underwear."
"Then what should I do!" Kenneth Toller was very worried. It was impossible for him to protect himself from Flint's sneak attacks at all times.
"That depends on what you plan to do." Albert looked up and glanced at Kenneth Toler, then said with a smile, "You can go and reconcile with him, return the pants to him, and give him a pair of your underwear at the same time."
"You are kidding me!"
Kenneth Toller stared at Albert in amazement, while Lee Jordan beside him was laughing so hard that he couldn't straighten his back.
In the end, Kenneth Toller failed to get a better solution from Albert and left with disappointment on his face.
"What would you do if it were you?" Lee Jordan asked curiously.
"Use the Oblivion Charm on Flint to make him forget this unpleasant memory. Of course, this is not an easy task." Albert explained as he played the first card: "Using the Oblivion Charm too much can have a negative impact on people. In serious cases, it can even turn people into idiots who know nothing."
"It would be great if I could turn them into idiots!" Lee Jordan sighed, looked at the situation on the field, and asked in confusion: "Haven't you touched the wizard card for a long time? How come you are still so powerful?"
"After all, this is a game I invented, so I naturally know how to play it better than you do." After Albert easily won another game, Lee Jordan decided not to continue playing.
"I feel like wizard cards still have a long way to go." He sighed as he put away the wizard cards, "Maybe we can consider adding some other effects to wizard cards."
"You can have whatever you want."
"Really?" Lee Jordan asked delightedly.
"Really, Wizard cards still have a long way to go."
"That's great. If I can be of any help, please let me know."
"Yes, you can definitely help." Albert said as he gave Tom some dried fish.
"It seems like it would be nice to have a cat."
"You don't have a talent for raising pets."
Lee Jordan sighed. His bag spider had died a long time ago, and he had raised it to death. Fred and George made the corpse into a specimen, and it seemed that they were going to give it to Ron as a Christmas gift this year.
