Why didn't Albert just tell himself what the Philosopher's Stone was
Hermione kept thinking about this question before falling asleep.
Pretending to be mysterious
This is very much what Albert likes to do.
Or is there another deeper meaning to this matter
In fact, Hermione didn't think Albert liked to do unimportant things, so she decided to find a time to figure things out. Then she would know why he did that.
However, Hermione soon discovered that the Philosopher's Stone was just like Nicolas Flamel, in that she could not find any useful information at all. What made Hermione even more discouraged was that she found that she still knew nothing about many things.
Finally, if she really can't find it, Hermione should take the opportunity to ask Professor Flitwick about the Philosopher's Stone during the break of Charms class.
Professor Flitwick didn't want to answer this question, and only told Hermione that the Philosopher's Stone involved ancient alchemy and that it was a magical substance with amazing functions.
Hermione sensed something unusual in Professor Flitwick's tone. She could be said to be one of Professor Flitwick's favorite students. Whenever she asked a question, Professor Flitwick would be happy to help answer it.
What's wrong with the Philosopher's Stone
"What do you want Professor Flitwick for?"
When Hermione left the Charms classroom, Harry and Ron were waiting for her in the Armoury Corridor outside the Charms classroom.
"Alchemy?"
Hermione seemed not to have heard the questions from her two friends, and spoke to herself.
"What's wrong with her?"
Ron and Harry exchanged confused looks.
"have no idea."
"I know!" Hermione suddenly ran back to the common room, making Harry and Ron, who were looking at her back, even more confused. After looking at each other, they could only follow her helplessly.
After returning to the Gryffindor common room, Hermione immediately ran back to the girls' dormitory, picked up a huge old book from her bedside table, and reappeared in front of Harry and Ron.
"Why didn't I think of looking here?" Hermione was very excited. "I should have thought of it last night."
"Looking for what, Nicolas Flamel?" Harry asked, confused.
"Where did you get this book?" Ron was even more curious about this question. He was not a person who liked reading, and this huge book made him feel dizzy.
"I borrowed this from the library a few weeks ago for entertainment." Hermione flipped through the book quickly.
"For fun?" Ron looked at Hermione in horror and said, "I bet you're crazy."
"Ron, leave me alone."
Hermione asked them to keep quiet while she looked up some information. The girl muttered something and began to flip through the pages quickly.
"I've found the Philosopher's Stone. Harry, I also found Nicolas Flamel!" When Hermione found the information about the Philosopher's Stone, she was shocked to see that its maker was Nicolas Flamel. At the same time, she felt that Albert's words at the time were a bit intriguing.
"Nicolález Flamel, have you found him?" Harry leaned forward and wanted to see Nicolas Flamel's information, but was pushed away by Hermione.
"Stop keeping us in suspense and tell us the news about Nicolas Flamel," Ron urged.
Hermione ignored him and began to read a passage from the book in a low voice, "Nicolas Flamel is the only known creator of the Philosopher's Stone. Well, no wonder Albert said that the contents of the parchment were false."
"What stone?" Harry and Ron were both confused.
"Philosopher's Stone, remember the contents of the parchment I asked Albert to translate? It contains the formula for making the Philosopher's Stone." Hermione explained.
She already understood why Albert asked her to look up information about the Philosopher's Stone, but Hermione was still a little confused. Why did Albert tell them this news
"Ancient alchemy involves the creation of the Philosopher's Stone, a magical substance with amazing powers. The Philosopher's Stone can turn any metal into pure gold, and can also create..."
"The Philosopher's Stone can turn into gold!" Ron's voice rose an octave, interrupting Hermione's words with a scream, and he put his head close to the book in disbelief, wanting to see for himself whether this was true or not.
"That's what it says, and don't interrupt me." Hermione glared at Ron unhappily and continued reading, "It can also create an elixir of life, so that those who drink it will never die."
"Make people what... immortal?" Harry felt that he must have heard it wrong.
"Don't interrupt me." Hermione was very dissatisfied with being interrupted again and again, and continued to read: "Over the centuries, there have been many reports about the Philosopher's Stone, but the only remaining Philosopher's Stone belongs to the famous alchemist Mr. Nicolas Flamel..."
"Oh my God, he actually lived to be six hundred and sixty-five years old?" Harry felt like he was dreaming. Could it be that the Philosopher's Stone could really allow people to live that long
"It should be true." Ron said without hesitation. There are indeed many magical things in the wizarding world.
"That big dog must be guarding Nicolas Flamel's Philosopher's Stone!" Hermione said affirmatively.
"But why is the Philosopher's Stone with Dumbledore?" Ron asked in confusion.
"I might know why!"
This time, it was Harry's turn to run back to the boys' dormitory. When he came back, he had a Chocolate Frog card in his hand. It was a Chocolate Frog card of Dumbledore.
"I told you I'd seen that name somewhere before," Harry said, waving his Chocolate Frog card excitedly. "Look at this!"
He handed the card to Ron, who began to read the text on the back of the card: "Dumbledore's well-known contributions include: defeating the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, discovering the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and making great achievements in alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel!"
"I dare say that Nicolas Flamel asked Dumbledore to keep the Philosopher's Stone for him because they were good friends, and Dumbledore must have known that someone was eyeing the Philosopher's Stone. That's why he moved the Philosopher's Stone out of Gringotts." Hermione looked very excited, as if she had got first place in the exam.
"A stone that can turn into gold and give you eternal immortality!" Harry took a deep breath and said, "No wonder Snape is eyeing it!"
"Everyone would want it!"
Ron almost drooled as he imagined himself having a pile of gold.
"Albert must have known about the Philosopher's Stone for a long time. He might also be eyeing the Philosopher's Stone, so he doesn't want to tell us about it." Harry felt that with Albert's ability, he might really be able to get the Philosopher's Stone.
"Harry, it was Albert who told us about the Philosopher's Stone." Hermione did not agree with Harry's point of view at all. If Albert really did not want her to know about the Philosopher's Stone, he would not have given her the formula of the Philosopher's Stone.
"Didn't he say that the formula was fake?" Ron's mind was full of the Philosopher's Stone and gold, and he didn't even realize what he was saying.
"However, I agree with what Harry said. If I were him, I would definitely try to get the Philosopher's Stone." Ron looked at Harry and said, "We can work with Albert to get the Philosopher's Stone together. I dare say Fred and George must know about this."
"I don't think Albert would steal Professor Dumbledore's Philosopher's Stone." Hermione disagreed with the two of them. She felt that Albert might know many things that they didn't know.
