"Are you planning to sell the formula in the end?"
In Mrs. Puddifoot's Tea House, Isobel rested her chin on one hand and stirred the milk tea in the cup with a spoon with the other hand. She stared at her boyfriend with a smile and asked, "Do you think it will work?"
"I don't know." Albert took a sip of milk tea and said calmly, "It would be great if it can be done. By the way, the teahouse is really lively today!"
"After all, yesterday was Valentine's Day."
"Yes, Valentine's Day was yesterday!" Albert looked at his girlfriend deeply. He still remembered that Isobel specially prepared Valentine's Day chocolates for him last year, but this year she simply didn't want to.
"Some things are more intoxicating than chocolate, right?" Isobel seemed to see through Albert's thoughts and looked in a certain direction with a smile.
Albert followed Isobel's gaze to the couple kissing at the next table, and instantly understood what she meant.
Before Albert could say anything, the door of Mrs. Puddifoot's Tea Shop was pushed open, and Kenneth Toller looked around and walked towards Albert.
"You're early."
Albert took out a pocket watch from his pocket, glanced at the time on it and said to the visitor.
"I'm so sorry to interrupt your date."
Kenneth Toller's eyes moved back and forth between the two of them, and suddenly a meaningful smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
As soon as he sat down next to Albert, Albert and Isobel simultaneously turned their eyes to Kenneth Toller, whose smile froze instantly, and he suddenly felt a sense of inexplicable discomfort. He stood up again and said with a wry smile, "I'd better come over later."
Of course Kenneth Toler could see the disgust in the two men's eyes. After all, no one wanted to be disturbed on a date, and there was still half an hour before the agreed time. It would be too much of a nuisance for him to stay here.
Kenneth Toller tactfully left.
"What is he doing here?" Isobel asked as she took a sip of her milk tea.
"Kenneth Toller is the middleman," Albert said casually.
The two chatted for a while, and Albert noticed that Isobel suddenly looked out of the window and waved outside. He turned his head suspiciously and saw Katrina floating past the teahouse like a wandering soul.
Seeing Albert's slightly raised eyebrow, Isobel explained: "I asked Katrina to come here. She has been under a lot of academic pressure recently."
"I once suggested that she give up a few courses and switch to a normal schedule." Albert said lightly. It was completely normal for Katrina to be under pressure since she had chosen twelve courses.
"She just has the wrong mindset and needs guidance from others." Isobel sighed softly, staring at Abel, and suddenly stopped talking.
"You are a good sister who cares about your sister." Albert understood what Isobel meant, thought of his own sister, and couldn't help but sigh.
If it were me, I would probably do the same.
"Albert really understands me. I remember you have a sister too!" Isobel said with a smile.
"Yeah, you're a troublesome sister." Albert glanced at Katrina who was walking towards him and said, "You look very tired. You'd better use the converter properly. Sit down. I'll treat you if you want to drink anything."
"It's probably because he uses the converter too often." Isobel said to Katrina, "Don't save money for him. Order the most expensive one. He's going to get rich soon anyway."
Katrina was still a little dazed and didn't understand what was going on.
"Are they dating?"
She thought so and realized that all the men and women who came to the teahouse were on dates.
Albert shook his head and said, "I think she must be very tired of studying, so she feels very tired."
This was how I learned English in my previous life.
Katrina looked at the two people talking to each other and suddenly didn't know what to say.
"My advice remains the same. Give up some of the courses you don't like very much. There is no need to live such a tiring life." Albert suggested while drinking milk tea.
Katrina said nothing, but quietly drank the milk tea that Isobel ordered for her and listened to the conversation between the two. Her mind was still blank and she hadn't figured out what Isobel had asked her to come here for.
Do you listen to them both nagging
Or did Isobel want Albert to convince her to drop a few classes and return to a normal schedule
Anyway, Katrina, whose mind was completely blank, suddenly asked, "Are you guys dating?"
Both of them were stunned for a moment, and the atmosphere on the scene suddenly became a little weird.
"Sorry to bother you." Katrina stood up and prepared to leave, but was stopped by Isobel.
"Eat some dessert, you'll feel better." Isobel sighed and ordered a cake for her.
More than bad, she looked like she might collapse at any moment.
Albert looked at Katrina's situation and couldn't help shaking his head in his heart.
"You should use the Time-Turner with care," Albert reminded. "Don't always use it to catch up with classes and do homework. The pressure of taking twelve courses is already great enough. You should learn how to relax and take a proper rest instead of doing homework all the time and getting yourself into this state."
"Are you preaching to me?" Katrina said a little impatiently, but Isobel blocked her mouth with a cake.
"I'm passing on my experience to you." Albert looked at Isobel who was about to feed Katrina with no doubt.
"Come on," Katrina complained angrily, "Don't treat me like a child."
"Who told you to always worry me?" Isobel put the cake on the fork into her mouth, looked at Katrina with a smile and asked, "Do you feel better?"
"I didn't," Katrina couldn't help but protest.
"If you are really tired, you should take a good rest and not make yourself look like this." Isobel said, "I often see Albert sleeping in the Room of Requirement."
"I'm just taking a short break," Albert corrected.
"Okay, let's take a break." Isobel said with a smile on her face. "Then we can rest together and have tea and dessert."
"Aren't you afraid of getting fat early?" Katrina said angrily.
"I do take time to exercise," Isobel said without hesitation.
While Katrina was stunned, she heard Albert mutter to himself: It's about time.
"What time is it?" Before Katrina could react, she saw a charming woman in her thirties walking into the teahouse, accompanied by a boy she didn't know.
